You can let it be calculated by Astro.com under
1. Horoscope Drawings and calculations
2. Extended chart selection
3. Pullen/Astrolog
4. Gauquelin Sector Chart for Prof. Ertel
See attatchment for example. Whereby Uranus and Saturnus are spot on in this placing, both in anti-critical zones and both having reeked havoc in my life.

Thanks for introducing us to this! I've read a bit about him and his research, but don't know what to do here; which zones are critical and anti-critical? I thought he only focussed on planets on angles...hmm:innocent:

+ is critical, strange because it is actually a positive placing
- is the anti-critical placing, negative.

Hmmm...
This is a very akward theory... a big no from me. + areas on the 12th house? ... 12th house is being sick, is addictions, is beeing reclusive, is sadness,...
I think it adds nothing to horoscope analysis.
Eugene.
Eugene, yes it is the 12th, but you forget, there the planets are rising, and a rising planet is very strong.

Don't call me friend... just...don't.
I noticed it, i don't forget things easily. I understand what you're saying. Or else, i can understand what you say for the areas 1 and 36, now the areas 2 and 3 are not rising(conjuncting the ascendant). And what about the - on the 5th?! This reminds me of another area, 51...
I just think this adds nothing to horoscopes' analysis. For me, is astrology garbage(this just gave me an excellent idea:happy:) Anyway, my opinion, free world.
Hmmm, perhaps I'm not totally aware that the usage of the word is misplaced? Although I do not see it as such. However I respect your wishes. Perhaps colleague would have been a better choice. Whatever you might think of the critical and anti-critical areas, there are many such areas in the chart, and astrology has been using them for a long time. You're entitled to your opinion, however you sound a little angry, which in my opinion has nothing to do with the subject matter.

The 12th house doesn't have to be negative, I agree with you that there are many good qualities held by this house, and rising planets play a large roll in how we view life, and how others view us. So with Venus and Mercury rising, I'm sure it brings out good qualities.

Not only that, to further the thread if the "nurse" behind your Pisces is your occupation all the more reason to see the 12th house as very good thing for you. Seeing that the 12th house covers institutions such as hospitals, for you to have both Venus and Mercury would mean that possess good qualitues and are motivated in your work, and have a good understanding of it. Often in astrology house like 8, 6 and 12 get negative attention, but one must take it in context. But not knowing your horoscope, this is nothing short of a shot in the dark.

Are there any links out there that would assist a complete newbie with this system? In particular, I'm trying to research Pluto, Saturn and Mars (only critically placed planets in my chart, besides the asteroid chiron).
I'm very interested in Gauquelin's research again.
I made a chart on Astro.com with the G sectors
http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/picture.php?albumid=789&pictureid=4046
What I couldn't make sense of is the fact that Gauquelin's research suggests that the 12th and 9th houses are the most powerful, which goes against everything I've been told about the houses, with the 1st being (arguably) strongest, not the 12th.
So I went looking for answers. Is it the house systems we use that are wrong? Whole sign houses sometimes give someone 'more' first house over the horizon, could that account for it? I have a late degree rising myself.
Or recently someone suggested house systems that go clockwise, with the 12th being replaced by the 1st, and the 11th replaced with the 2nd etc. etc.
Then I found this article which suggests that you need to think in terms of progressions:
http://www.positiveastrology.com/dynmars-002.asp
For example, a Mars posited in the 9th at birth will eventually progress (anti_clockwise) into the angular 10th, which is traditionally a house associated with eminence and success.
So what you might get is a kind of ugly swan effect... you start out with not very well placed planets at birth, but then eventually they progress towards an angle and then you start rocking the world.
Of course, I would be attracted to this idea as I have a lot of stuff in the G critical zones  12th house Mercury and Venus, 9th house Mars
I would also speculate that if you removed nativities of persons with retrograde planets in the G zones at birth from the scientific samples, it could accentuate the positive result of the Mars Effect.
