9 transits in one day!!!

Should I stay in bed or go for the gusto? I have 9 transits on April 27:

2:02 AM Transiting Moon Trine Natal Jupiter
2:33 AM Transiting Moon Square Natal Uranus
4:08 AM Transiting Moon conjunction Natal Neptune
5:37 AM Transiting Moon Conjunct Saturn
6:14 AM Transiting Moon Sextile Natal Pluto
5:38 PM Transiting Moon Square Natal Mercury
7:20 PM Transiting Moon Conjunction Natal MidHeaven
9:04 PM Transiting Moon Sextile Natal Moon
11:59 PM Transiting Sun Sextile Natal Venus

I have never seen a day with this many transits. I have 8 transits coming up on May 11. Can anyone tell me the significance of having so many transits on one day?

Remember that there have to be natal connections too with the planets involved . I think you will find that the numbers may be less than you think. If you post your chart even anonymously I can have a look. It is most unusual to have that many at any time.:smile:

I agree with Claire, seeing the chart would be more helpful, but in general, I will comment.....

Most of these are generally considered positive aspects - sextiles and trines. Plus, Moon is on your Midheaven, and your Saturn/Neptune ( You have Saturn/Neptune on Midheaven, I take it?) This could be something to do with your career, your mother, or maybe a "date with destiny" somehow. The squares are to Uranus and Mercury - so maybe a sudden change in your thinking or a communication that gives you more freedom and opens up a new direction for you?

There are many ways this could play out, but personally, I see the transits as screaming "opportunity" in some way. This would be even more so, if the planets are making aspects among themselves, as well, instead of "individual hits", if you know what I mean.

Yes the effects would be only fleeting and certainly not life changing.

The moon is a timer.
These transits (besides the sun) you experience regularly. It is the fastest. It describes instinctual or emotional responses.
Now if you have outer planets also aspecting these natal planets or even a few mars or sun in this case may be the trigger that begins to excite the energy and the moon acts as a timer to when events will happen.

As an example I have pluto T (transiting) my MC, Saturn near my DC and Uranus aproaching my AC....

Mars rules my chart and is natally inconjunct to MC/Saturn.

I had an accident on the 8th of this month. Mars was at 4 degrees forming an almost perfect inconjunction to Pluto. This is the trigger.



The moons transit that day opposed transiting mars, opposing my natal mars, opposed my natal Uranus. At the time of the accident it was at the same degree as the north node ....16 Thus the moon is a timer.

This is just one event.

This is true to an extent... It could signify meeting an important person - an important message coming in about mother, career, etc.....a financial opportunity,etc.

It is also important to note, that is icedcoldtea got the transits off of astro.com, then only that day's exact transits are shown. There could be other major transits that are applying or separating at that same time. If so, the Moon can be a catalyst in triggering the bigger aspects. ( or at least that is my understanding of it. ) So, seeing the full chart is really important - not just the one day's transits.

I will give you an example of transitting Moon aspects. I just had a T Moon aspect that I have noticed.

Transit Moon square natal Moon
Transit Mars square natal Moon
Transit Mercury retrograde conjunct natal Moon
(the transit Moon and Mars were conjunct in the sky)

I was VERY emotionally unstable from about 6pm to 10pm. I woke up the next day and Im like what happened there I feel fine now. I had a look and saw that Moon was making things happen. I feel still a little bad as transit Mars is still there, and so is transit Mercury but not quiet as emotional as when transit Moon was squaring my moon.

Transit Moon will only do so much by itself, putting emotion behind the transit, good or bad depending on the aspect and it goes around the chart every month, you need other transits to make things happen.

By the way if a slower moving planet would to happen to find the same degree that the Moon will be on, on the 27 April. You might have a little more drama :innocent:.

Surely you get all those transits of the moon every month? The moon will be in late Libra - 24th May, 20th June etc. On May 11th you're getting the Aries version ...
