North Node/South Node

Could someone give me some explanation on the role played by the North Node and the South Node in horary astrology?

As I know they have no such imporance in Horary, except if someone planet of the horary chart is at the exact degree as Nodes, that is the sign of some kind of catastrofe.

Jupiter being conjunct to the South Node at the moment, I assume this is a very bad omen if this planet happens to play some role in the horary ?

Any planet at the same degree as the Nodes is in a critical condition. This is quite a rule.
The South Node is considered to be malefic. The North Node benefic.
