I went for a reading a while back with Jillian Armstead who has since passed on and he mentioned the vertex. I've been doing a little bit of research, but have been unsuccessful in discovering anything past the basics. Just wondering if anyone had any thoughts to share. I will have some heavy transits to the vertex in the upcoming years.

One of the many personal points. Sometimes I think too many. I have always seen it as the point of Fate. Although, fate has always had such a negative undertone, and like so many points it's true value hasn't really been fully researched or understood (my opinion). I would say that the Vertex leans towards a second Ascendant/Descendant I don't use the Vertex in Natal astrology, but I do use it in progressions and directions. I use it as a triggering device for house, planets, aspects, patterns ect.
