Could someone tell me if this chart has musical potential and whether or not it will succeed in the music industry? If not, in which areas can this chart succeed in, career-wise?

Taureans are reknowned for having beautiful voices, how sure are you of your 'time'?? The good news is with sun and venus in 2nd house of 'how you earn your money' you should always be able to feed yourself

When looking at career we look at MC, ruler of MC which is Uranus, placed in 8th conj Neptune & saturn --- anything connected to 8th house matters ie: insurances, joint resources, inheritances, occult, goods of the deceased, anything hidden in fact.

Then we would look at 2nd ie; cancer posited by sun and venus, sun is quincunxed to moon (if time is correct) and opp mars.
Mars is also a 'singleton' ie: only planet in fire and the chart lacks this element to. Now in Equal house system Cancer rules 2nd house and moon is in 9th. Which suggests you may live abroad at some point or get involved with a foriegner perhaps
Going back to venus in 2nd is opposite saturn, which suggests a feeling of being unloved in childhood and a cautious reserved affectional nature. But also suggests have to work hard for your money and Saturn in 8th suggests 'others' may not readily want to share their resources with you.
Your Jupiter is the least aspected with wide orb to conjunct sun
"Thinking too highly of themselves can also be expressed in optimistic laying of grandiose plans with an inattention to detail that is bound to produce mistakes and disappointment. But then, doing things with a flourish is typical of this aspect. self‑reliance, optimism and success. An air of confidence usually has a stimulating effect on others. Properties such as joviality, fair play and optimism come well to the fore in this aspect, enabling these people to put fresh heart into others. Also they are quite likely to be open‑handed, magnanimous and protective, but run the risk of acting in a spirit of self‑importance"
From the book ‘Aspects and Personality’ by Karen Hamaker-Zondag
"Your real talent is caring for people. Your depth of understanding and loyalty know no bounds, so you will eventually find yourself making a nice living in any occupation that requires this expertise. If you currently spend most of your working hours pushing papers, or operating machinery, you're in the wrong profession."

If you go to the astrologyweekly.com home page or click on the link to read the full article, as forum rules say you can only quote 100 words from another author or source....
"Cancers need stable careers that bring in good money because they crave security and need sufficient cash flow to maintain a comfortable home base. Cancerians are very good with the public, if they are not too shy, and they do especially well in careers that make use of their compassionate and nurturing qualities, particularly those involving children or animals. Careers that involve boats, liquids, food and drink, hospitality, and photography are also favoured."

Hope these ideas have helped, I don't have a lot of experience looking for 'singers and muscians' unfortunately.

I recommend that you visit the thread Indicators of Musical Talent in a Natal Chart (http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1095). We've had a really good discussion there!

I said this on that other thread:
Oh boy, this is an incredibly contentious issue. Everyone's gonna have different opinions on what gets music in terms of astrology and usually give a disproportionate amount of credit to one thing or the other, usually Venus, one of her 3 signs (I'm including her exaltation Pisces and its ruler Neptune), but I really disagree with this.
IMO, I wouldn't give it to any one sign, planet or house, music is just too big and complex, every sign and planet has something to contribute to music, even sad Saturn can help you appreciate the blues! Saying one thing alone rules music is like saying the Moon rules emotions when every planet has some emotional nature like Venus is romantic, Mars angry...
I'd say the biggest musical planets are Jupiter, Venus, Mercury, the Moon and maybe the asteroid Pallas. Venus obviously because people tend to regard music as beautiful (not that rock and roll is probably her thing, we know who gets that ♂), Mercury because music is a form of communication, the Moon because music is ALWAYS emotional regardless of genre, Jupiter because music is inspiration and often grand, Pallas because music involves skills and placement. Performers probably belong to the Sun..
Hmm, maybe with Mercury in Gemini rising you'll learn the skills quickly? I'm not sure I'd count your Sun as combust, it's more than 10 degrees and in a different sign so Jupiter's just under beams, and kind of weak too since you were born at night and they prefer day.
