Alright, so I'm interested in Astrology, but so far I'm still in the process of digesting all the information I'm learning. It would be greatly appreciated if someone can help me with my natal chart. Three years ago I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder, so for the past three years my life has reached an all time low. However, I've felt that I was misdiagnosed. So after three years of medications and after alot of unwanted results my meds have caused me, my family is finally going to wean me off my meds. I feel my confidence coming back, and I thought to myself, what better way to pull my life back up again than to use Astrology as a means of direction on where to start. Could someone tell me the strengths of this chart, as well as its weaknesses? In what areas would I be successful in? I have been told my chart has alot of oppositions, so I am curious about what this all means. Thank you for your time. :)

Lenartz, I would start with this link which will help and explain the basic ways on how to start delineating your own chart.
http://wilsontc.stormloader.com/#continue (http://wilsontc.stormloader.com/#continue)
Now after reading this and when looking at your chart, you see that one group of planets is located on one side (10th, 11th and 12th houses) of the chart, and the other group on the opposite side of them (houses 3 and 5). This is called a See-saw pattern and shows clearly the undecisiveness you might experience in your life. One half of you wants this and the other want that. You might therefore have trouble in making choices in your life. The Sun shows your selfexpression, (physical expression)the Moon shows the less obvious traits of what you would like to do and what makes you feel safe as well as how you express yourself emotionally. The Sun is more objective, the Moon subjective. Your Sun in Gemini is very outgoing and communicative, enlarged by the conjunction to Jupiter, but your Moon tells another story. It is in Capricorn where Moon is in detriment and also conjunct Saturn and opposed to Venus and this tells me that you can have great difficulty in expressing your feelings and also find it difficult to accept love from others. Saturn is very strong in own sign and can therefore have a great impact on your sensitive Moon.
The opposition falls between the 11th and 5th houses, how you express yourself alone opposed to how you behave in company of others. It is clear to me that there is a problem here. We find Chiron in your 11th house (Chiron shows a wound we carry within us which we cannot heal and make us very vulnerable, shy or awkward in the lifecompartment where Chiron is found and this is amongst friends and large groups of people, clubs etc.
Moon rules that 11th house and the conjunction with Saturn shows therefore also that you prefer having a few, maybe even one or two good friends whom you trust rather than lots of acquaintances. You might prefer people who have the same interests (hobbies) as you have for instance, rather a selected few.
Your Ascendant is ruled by very clever Mercury in own sign and accidentally dignified in the 10th house. Ruler of that 10th house of career is also Mercury, so I take it that career matters are very important to you and with your Moon in Capricorn you can be mighty ambitious. I think you are a very hard worker or someone who loves to work with the ruler of your 6th house in your 5th of pleasures and selfexpression.
Communication at work or work to do with communication, like being a teacher or lecturer or also detective work (ruler 8 in 12 and sextile ruler 10) and Mars square Pluto or research (Mars in 12) could all be a possibility for you.
About your supposed bi-polar Disorder, I agree with you. I dont see this in your chart. Uranus rules the 6th house and opposes the Sun. This can make you excentric or very restless and in need of being alone or left alone by others because Sun rules your 12th house of isolation(a.o.).
Saturn is the traditional ruler of your 6th house and makes an exact conjunction with your Neptune which could cause certain confusion when it comes to diagnosing illness. There could be problems with teeth, skin and bones, all ruled by Saturn.
You have a strong 3rd house (lower mind) with Pluto ruler of that house in own sign in that house. A penetrating mind. You could be a deep thinker and like to go into every detail of a problem.
Yours is a good chart with lots of promise. You should maybe be careful of lending money to friends or being tricked out of money by other people in general. Venus ruler of your 2nd house of money is opposed to Neptune.
This same Neptune rules your 7th house of relationships and with the opposition to Venus it could happen that you will be disappointed in love relationships because you either choose the wrong partners (sometimes because you could feel sorry for them) or expect too much of love in general.
Hope this gives you a bit of an idea. Do visit our Education Board where you can find articles on how to learn the basics of astrology and many more interesting articles.

Your mars is also a singleton and your chart lacks the element of fire but to compensate you have 4planets in fire house ie: 5th Leo
Singleton planets
“If a planet happens to be the only one in an element, quality, or house type, that planet is a Singleton and it can funnel all of the “energy” of the horoscope. This planet is often the most important one in the horoscope. In other words, if you just interpret the position of this one planet by sign, house, and aspect, you will get to the “heart of the horoscope”. The effect is the same as if that planet were the only one on one side of the chart.”

(There is a book out by Shirley Lyons Meier, "Elemental Voids, More than Meets the Eye", which gives a good discussion of missing elements.) The Inferior Function can be a source of great motivation and creative expression.

Your mars in 12th suggests that you were not allowed to display temper tantrums as a child and felt uncomfortable getting attention, possibly bullied by siblings or at school even (worse case scenario)

Hi,
I also have Mars in the 12th, and it can be a source of disorders--I also have bipolar disorder, among other things; lol. Mars in 12th can be particularly bad, it can mean heavy spending and debts in life; but most universally a very bad seething temper that we hardly show--especially with your Mars in Leo, a hot sign and in a diurnal chart. Looking at your chart I see that this agitated Mars energy is going to be a lifelong issue you will have to work through.
Other than that, you have the first lord in the tenth house in its domicile. This is a very good signature for success, I'd say in the area of communications, writing--anything Mercury related. Jupiter is also in the tenth house so should bring good luck.
Part of fortune in the seventh says fortune will come through the help of others, possibly the marriage partner and relationships in general.

Len,
Your rounded birth time keeps me from being able to get all the info I'd like to get out of a horoscope, but I'll tell you what I see. You need to be productive. So many planets in Capricorn means accomplishing something and releasing energies is important to your health. Depression and frustration can cause problems if you don't. Also, let yourself act spontaneously, maybe first in some writing - even if privately. And let yourself express affection to those you love and like. Don't hold that in. You have a tendency to over-intellectualize, to live in your head. Get grounded by being more in your body, in nature. Let yourself feel more and think less.
