Hello, everyone. I'm new here. Aquarius Sun, Taurus moon, Virgo rising.

Could I maybe get some outside opinions on my natal chart? I tend to think of myself as not a really typical aquarian, because my Venus is strong (Pisces/7th house), so I'm really not all that 'emotionally detached' as Aquarius is so famous for.

I have a picky saturn too (Aquarius, conjunct Mercury/Sun), my friends that are also into Astrology say that's what 'makes me a killjoy' and makes me give the impression that I'm older than I am because I'm more mature than most people my age (I'm 17). Any thoughts on this?

Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the community, Neph!

I've recreated your natal chart on Astro.com because I had difficulty reading yours with all of the aspect lines. You may wish to deselect this feature when you post future charts.

I have a picky saturn too (Aquarius, conjunct Mercury/Sun), my friends that are also into Astrology say that's what 'makes me a killjoy' and makes me give the impression that I'm older than I am because I'm more mature than most people my age (I'm 17). Any thoughts on this?

Saturn in Aquarius is a generational placement, which means that it does not indicate much about an individual on its own, but as you've noted, you have two personal planets conjunct Saturn. Perhaps the orb for the Sun's conjunction to Saturn is a bit wide, but astrologers often give the luminaries larger orbs, and the Sun is applying towards Saturn, which means the aspect is increasing in power. Indeed, Mercury is applying towards Saturn, as well. I have a natal Sun-Mercury conjunction in Aries square Saturn in Capricorn, so I'm familiar with Saturn's influence upon these two planets. And yes, those born under the influence of Saturn often bear burdens of responsibility--sometimes willingly, sometimes not. This often gives them a serious outlook on life and makes them act older than their years. Saturn greatly influences your identity, since Mercury, the ruler of your Ascendant, is conjunct Saturn. Saturn is strong in the traditional sign of its rulership. Fortunately, you also have Jupiter trine these planets, so you're not entirely a "killjoy."

Virgo's also tends to be a serious sign.

I tend to think of myself as not a really typical aquarian, because my Venus is strong (Pisces/7th house), so I'm really not all that 'emotionally detached' as Aquarius is so famous for.

Yes, Venus is exalted in Pisces; you are quite lucky to have this placement. I am curious how it affects your relationships, since the seventh house is often associated with such. Your Moon is also exalted in Taurus.

When a sun sign is conjunct a heavyweight planet from Saturn onwards, ie: Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, that sun person automatically becomes and honorary Saturian, Uranian, Neptunian and Plutonian cos the contact with very strong

The reason you are not 'a typical' Aquarian is cos your sun is conjunct Neptune, making you more piscean/neptunian ---

Your venus is also a singleton being only planet in mutable quality --
