My Chart, Please explain it to me a little.

I'm a cancer in all aspects but the good at handling money and being cautious. I spend like there's no tomorrow and am very impulsive. Is this from my Sag ascendant? Also what does chiron in cancer mean? And could someone please explain the houses to me... I still don't quite get them.

Is this from my Sag ascendant?Yes and also Sun conjunct Jupiter(ASC ruler exalted) in 8th house....and the oppositions to your 2nd house planets from it(Sun opp Saturn;Jupiter opp Saturn)...plus you have Uranus in 2nd house....

Basic astrology
Now basically your sun sign is your 'core beliefs, values, ego' and Asc is your physical body, mode of expression and mask and persona that we all wear and hide behind, but definitely not what's going on underneath. What's going on underneath is your Sun sign. Moon sign, house placements and aspects describe your emotional and intuitive responses, also describes your view of your mother, as saturn describes your father by sign and house position.

So, think of a glass milk bottle the bottle is your Asc and your sun the milk, but the milk still has to 'come out' through the glass neck of the milk bottle....

Now aspects within a natal chart represent 'facets' of our personality, because we are all multifaceted beings. What these do is 'break down and compartmentalise' these facets into smaller bite size chunks. This does take quite a lot of self analysis and objectivity to 'see yourself' and why you do certain things and behave in certain ways. Actually it can be quite good therapy...

Remember back to your school days an opposition is 180', square 90', trine 120', and sextile 60' Now challenged aspects are conj (depending on the planets, cos some like each other and some really don't) squares and oppositions. Easy aspects are conj (if the planets get along) eg: Jupiter conj Moon, sextile and trine. Quincunx is inbetween (depending on the planets) causes health strains and unresolved or hard to balance planets/energies.

Well done. Now your chart ruler Jupiter is conj your sun making you even more Saggi in flavour, but having three planets in 8th house of 'other people's money' could be that you enjoy spending other people's money and it probably comes easy to you. This is also the house of Sex :whistling: joint finances, inheritances etc.

Planets are modified by 'sign', where they express is 'house' and how the express are 'aspects'

Also your mercury and venus are 'singletons' ie: only planet in fire and venus only planet in air.

Since you have a least aspected :venus: (physical, also personal money) you do not "connect in" with money. And so you may OVERdo money things because you are not aware of them.

Aspects are found bottom left of chart on astro, like a grid. Square box in :square:red = 90' :opposition:diagonal bar = 180' opposition,:trine: triangle is trine =120' sextile :sextile: and conjunction :conjunct: lastly an inconjunct =150' which looks like bottom half of sextile....

"spend like there's no tomorrow" -- Sun conjunct Jupiter in Cancer. This is also present in the USA birth chart, so you're not alone. Could be Sag rising as well, if that Asc figure is correct. Many Sun-Jupiter Cancerians go through resources and money, can be very indulgent, great appetites for Everything!

Chiron in Cancer means you need to dig into your subconscious in order to heal. Conjunct Sun it means that the power to do this is truly in your hands. Chiron opp Saturn means you'll have to heal issues related to authority figures and finding balance for yourself rather than getting caught in being either traditional or anti-authoritarian. It doesn't have to be one or the other.

Don't worry about houses. Most important thing is to determine whether you truly fit the description of Sagittarius rising. Are you outgoing, jovial, generous-spirited, free-spirited, taller than avg for your family and with a longish/slender face? If so, you're Sag rising. If you're more secretive, want things to be on your terms and are built more solid, squarish (shoulders) with a rectangular face, then you're Scorpio rising. If neither fit, then we have a whole other discussion...
