Hi, I have a few queries regarding my chart & would appreciate if someone would have a look & give feedback.
Infact pls feel free to also comment on anything that is remarkable.

My questions are:

1) Is my Sun unaspected? I have tried to research on this but am nt sure if the Sun receives no positive aspect or any major aspect.

2) Does my chart lack water & if so what does it entail. Someone here on the forum mentioned about Uranus in scorpio being a singleton. How does it colour my chart? Does it make Uranus the chart ruler or is Mercury the chart ruler?

3) Significance of chiron in House 8.

greentwinkle,

You asked:
My questions are:

1) Is my Sun unaspected? I have tried to research on this but am nt sure if the Sun receives no positive aspect or any major aspect.

2) Does my chart lack water & if so what does it entail. Someone here on the forum mentioned about Uranus in scorpio being a singleton. How does it colour my chart? Does it make Uranus the chart ruler or is Mercury the chart ruler?

3) Significance of chiron in House 8.

1) No, your Sun is aspected. An unaspected planet is a planet that receives no aspects from any other planet, and your Sun receives two aspects. There is also a LEAST aspected planet which is a planet that receives only ONE aspect from any other planet. The effects of unaspected and least aspected are similar.

2) No, your chart has one planet in water, so is at least one planet in a water sign.*

3) Chiron is "where you are wounded and need to be healed" and the 8th house is the house of "transformation, also occult, sex". So Chiron in the 8th house indicates some sort of transformative wound that might involve occult things or even possibly some type of feeling of being sexually "wounded" in some way.

Answering,

Tim

* Correction from the original posting of "two planets in water signs"

2) No, your chart has two planets in water, so there are some planets in water signs.

Tim, where is the second planet in a water sign? Are you counting the Descendant as a planet? I only see Uranus.

By the way, Uranus is also the apex planet of a yod configuration, so it assumes additional importance.

Yes it does, trine to Asc
[Basic astrology
Now basically your sun sign is your 'core beliefs, values, ego' and Asc is your physical body, mode of expression and mask and persona that we all wear and hide behind, but definitely not what's going on underneath. What's going on underneath is your Sun sign. Moon sign, house placements and aspects describe your emotional and intuitive responses, also describes your view of your mother, as saturn describes your father by sign and house position.

So, think of a glass milk bottle the bottle is your Asc and your sun the milk, but the milk still has to 'come out' through the glass neck of the milk bottle....

Now aspects within a natal chart represent 'facets' of our personality, because we are all multifaceted beings. What these do is 'break down and compartmentalise' these facets into smaller bite size chunks. This does take quite a lot of self analysis and objectivity to 'see yourself' and why you do certain things and behave in certain ways. Actually it can be quite good therapy...

Remember back to your school days an opposition is 180', square 90', trine 120', and sextile 60' Now challenged aspects are conj (depending on the planets, cos some like each other and some really don't) squares and oppositions. Easy aspects are conj (if the planets get along) eg: Jupiter conj Moon, sextile and trine. Quincunx is inbetween (depending on the planets) causes health strains and unresolved or hard to balance planets/energies.]

2) Does my chart lack water & if so what does it entail. Someone here on the forum mentioned about Uranus in scorpio being a singleton. How does it colour my chart? Does it make Uranus the chart ruler or is Mercury the chart ruler?
Your chart ruler will always be mercury. Uranus is not only a singleton, being only planet in water but Apex for Yod configuration.

3) Significance of chiron in House 8.

Your chart does lack the water element
Lack of elements http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=18077 (http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=18077)

Olivia, I had made up my own definition for unaspected as in not receiving any major positive aspect in the chart...
Yeah, that temperament theory sounds like it could be applied..but why I ask about water is bcoz I am a lil confused. I feel I lack water but then i can be oversensitive too, many times & so the dichotomy tempts me to question astro, what is happening natally?
I suspect though that there is an imbalance otherwise I wouldn't be pulled in diff diirections allllll the time. That could be the Sun, Moon square thing too...
:pouty:
Thanx..
