the financial side of pluto

i'm interested in this issue , because Pluto rules wealth or big money ( which includes shared resources , inheritances , taxes etc). I have a well aspected Pluto (my link have my natal chart)

I could be wrong here, and I don't want to burst your bubble, but based on your chart, I wouldn't say Pluto is very strong in your chart, either in a good or a bad way.

Pluto first of all, impacts generations, so without significant personal placements, Pluto's influence may not ever impact a native directly.

That said, Pluto in Libra suggests your generation underwent a transformation in understanding how relationships operate. We had an upsurge in divorces at this time, and many women entered the workforce as the breadwinners, while men became stay-at-home dads.

Now, looking at your chart personally, I see:

A first house placement which is strong, but Pluto isn't angular.

Pluto widely squares your Sun, too wide for some people to consider. The Sun is slightly angular, so it means that this influence is fairly felt in your life. Sun square Pluto forces the native to confront their darker qualities, and integrate them into the bright solar ego. This can be powerful, but not necessarily by way of money, more like a heightened sense of self-worth and awareness.

Pluto is also aspecting Mercury very widely as a square, again perhaps too widely for some to consider applicable. This suggests you have a probing mind, and can eek out things people might like to keep secret.

Pluto trines your Venus, which is a fine aspect to look at when considering money and resources. Venus, however, is opposite Saturn, which suggests that you may experience limitations in these areas, if anything.

Pluto sextiles Saturn, which suggests your are willing to do the work it takes for inner transformation.

PLuto sextiles Neptune- a generational aspect and would suggest little concern for money, as Neptune here would support the more spiritual aspirations of Pluto. Neither are angular so again, this influence is more generational.


This all however, does not contraindicate your capacity to acquire money this lifetime. Jupiter is in Taurus in the 8th house- not bad at all by way of inheritances. It is square Saturn however, so you may struggle to feel wealthy or financially secure. This aspects indicates you NOT count your chickens before they hatch.

thanks Modcleopatra. the reason i made this thread is because im reading the book "Mapping your money" from Kris Brandt Riske which is states that Pluto , represents big money , wealth and shared resources.I have Pluto in the 1st house which in the book says: "You have the drive and ambition to make big money, so get focused and be a power in career and life. You also know how to make money work for you , and excel at negotiating major purchases and financial deals". So for the purpose of this thread , im focusing Pluto as the natural co-ruler(along with Mars) 8th house of shared resources , investments or "big money".

Do you think about material security achievements a lot. You have Mercury in Capricorn (structured thinking) trine Jupiter in Taurus 8th house (I would say is fairly good for finances, you could make some good decisions, and lucky in some investments). Pluto trines Venus of shared resources in relationships, I remember seeing a woman with this aspect in the element of earth and she was supported by her wealthy husband all her life, she has a comfortable life materially. I think also that Pluto have an influence in my second house , first because it rules my natal Uranus ,which is exalted, and my North Node , and second because my 2nd house cusp is less than 4 degrees shy from entering Scorpio. My Venus-Pluto trine also affects indirectly because both rules my Lunar Nodes North Node(Pluto) in my second house and South Node( Venus)in my eighth house.

In my case its very true , specially when my Cap Mercury in my fourth house (end of matter)is the ruler of my ASC & MC and my 8th Jupiter in Taurus rules the IC(end of matter) and is midpointed by Pisces Moon through sextiles . Moon is the ruler of my 11th house of hopes, wishes & goals.
