Equinox - 0 Aries arrives

We're there! For those of up in the Northern hemisphere it's the beginning of spring and for the antipodeans it's autumn.

If we ignore our own charts and locations of planets/angles, is there any significance to the arrival at 0Aries? Is it a time for new beginnings and a new cycle of the zodiac?

I definitely think there is some significance to the sun being at 0 degrees Aries. To me it signifies a new beginning, new renewal and period of growing for the Earth.
