Dear friends,
I was wondering if you could help me.
Transiting Saturn (2nd house) will be opposing my Natal Venus in Aquarius (8th house) in a few days. I am very worried about that, as the contact between these two planets makes me very depressed. How can this transit manifest this time in my life? what are the possible effects?
Neptune has also been in conjunction with my Venus in the 8th house for some time. I have felt this influence strongly. I have become very passive, very emotional, very self-sacrificing, and my ego has disappeared (I have Sun and Moon in Aries), when it comes to relationships.
I am now in touch with someone from the past and we are giving each other another a chance.
Please advice me, as I am very confused.
Thank you for reading this.
Kind regards to all,
Xenia

usually people born with saturn OPP venus in their natal charts suffer from depression due to broken sexual relations and most of the time they end up picking wrong partners.
They are often humiliated or ditched by their partners and tend to develop negative attitude towards opp. sex.
However jupiter's view on this combo can minimise ill effects

Xenia,

Saturn, in addition to being possibly restrictive, also represents structure. With Saturn moving through your 2nd house (physical, also your money, values), this could be a good time to structure your money situation. This possibility is increased since Saturn opposes (energy is over-excited by) Venus (physical, also your money, values). This is also a good time to develop your personal values.
Saturnally yours,
Tim

Without seeing the whole chart and, specifically, Venus's natal aspects, it's difficult to pinpoint anything specific. But If transiting Neptune has been conjunct your Venus, it's probably made you lose your sense of reality so that you haven't been seeing things as clearly as you should be. When, under such an influence, a knight in shining armour turns up to take you out of your drudgery, it may be hard to see the chinks in his armour !! 8th house 'other people's values' are influencing you and if they say 'jump', you will do it. The self-sacrifice you mentioned. But they may not show any intention to jump when you ask them to. Neptune to Venus aspects invariably place one upon cloud 9 but it isn't necessarily a smooth ride. Neptune isn't a planet that brings physical commitment and ties with it. If Venus rules your 11th house of platonic friendship, your knight in shining armour could well come and go as he pleases, with no desire for permanence. Is this what is making you feel emotionally insecure?
To help you get your feet back on firm ground, Saturn comes along to bring back that reality. In the 2nd house, you could be saying to yourself 'Am I worthless ?' instead of 'I am valuable substance myself'. Your eyes will open to what is real and what is wishful thinking about your situation. If this is someone from your past, what went wrong the first time? What is different about this time round? Do you seek someone to hold on to instead of providing for yourself? You know the answers already. Time will be when you accept their confirmation.
