Well Haybelly,

Let me ask YOU a question. Do you want to get pregnant? Are your motives clear as to why you want to get pregnant? Are you ready to be pregnant?

Neptune is in the 7th, aspecting the chart significator, Venus, with a square. I'm pointing to Neptune because the Sun, which to my understanding is on the cusp of the 5th, as the cusp is ruled by Leo, is in Pisces trining Neptune in the 7th. Do you want to have kids or are you doing this for a relationship you are in? Or for your own image of what it means to be a mother/wife/partner? Are you concerned about your position in society? Is someone else concerned?

There two oppositions to the ruler of the chart significator, which can certainly mean Nos. But these oppositions involve Saturn and Uranus, the traditional and modern rulers of the sign Venus is in, Aquarius. Are you conflicted about having kids? Is this a new idea for you, a new self-image? Why do you want kids?

Libra is on the cusp of the 6th house, and Venus rules the chart, so it doesn't seem like any hindrances to your health.

Jupiter is in the 2nd, which is a good location for fertility, involved in a few squares, but no oppositions, so I'm really thinking this isn't an issue with your health.

It seems like there is an issue in your immediately reality, in your love life and relationships, and your self-expression, that is pointing to an issue.

Also Virgo isn't barren, Capricorn is. Virgo is the reaping of what you sowed in Taurus. Capricorn is planning during times of scarcity for the future. Virgo comes when the harvest has just climaxed, you want to maximize your potential so you keep your desires immaculate and effective.

I'm not saying this is a Yes or a No, but chart significator trine Jupiter is a good one, both being benefics. There you might get a Yes. Especially since Jupiter is in the 2nd house, meaning an increase in Your sense of self-worth, your materials, your girth! That square to Neptune in the 7th, and the ruler of the 5th house being in Pisces, well you see my point about there being an issue with your motivation. Who are you really trying to please? Somewhere I think a part of you might be saying No.

Thanks for BOTH responses. Now that I have actaully asked that question, I really should have asked is, am I EVER going to get pregnant. My motives come from some unseen force driving me crazy. It is like a ghost child calling to me. I still feel healthy and young, my husband doesn't care, in fact I am sure he is sick of the dissapointed tears I shed each month. This is a burden I bear and I probably hear my clock screaming in my ears, which may be a pretty good motivator. I swear I just feel like I am supposed to have a child come into my life. Is it just going to drop from the sky or what:wink:. Ever have one of those "feelings"? If someone would just say, nope, sorry ain't gonna happen, I could get on with my life so much easier! Oh, and yes, I am definately ready to get pregnant, I have been working with a fertiltity specialist for 2 years. Maybe I want it even more because I can't seem to get pregnant.
I am stuck on this and need to let it go, but can't......right now

ModC- yep, immediate reality- my age.... my health is really great and I am still considered pretty fertile for my "age".....

Well there is that Neptune, all those feelings of fate and destiny, and well ghosts, and the lack of clarity! Plus now it explains to me at least, why Pluto landed in your 5th house. And then that Virgo tick tick ticking in the there too. "Time to reap!"

I'm sorry this has been so upsetting for you. I posted awhile back about being an egg donor. These stories really pull at my heart strings...

You really need to get some clarity, and to really look at what is motivating you. What does having a child represent to you? And more specifically, what does the act of supporting a fetus and birthing an infant mean to you? Why do you need these things? Would adoption not satisfy these "feelings" this "sense of destiny?" Where are these feelings and fated associations coming from? Are you missing the creative potential in your life in other ways? Or are you really missing a family? It sounds like, and seems like, you could use someone to talk to about this, especially if you feel burdened and like your husband doesnt care. You don't have to answer MY questions, but do think about them. It would help for you to look at your natal chart as well, and your progressed chart, and solar return. Lunar returns could help for the months as they can help you decide when to try to conceive.

Your natal Uranus/Pluto conjunction opposing Natal Saturn suggests to me a very difficult time getting pregnant and carrying the baby to term. Usually Uranus/Pluto in the 5th can deny children, and given the opposition to the barren sign Saturn, I would say it's not very likely. Now, natal astrology doesn't account for technology. I assume you are on fertility drugs or maybe a step further and having embryos fertilized and implanted? Maybe it could happen, but I am doubtful. Also transiting Saturn has been in you 5th house denying you children for the last few years and is now going into your house of health. I really don't think it looks good I am so sorry to say. I can tell you that lately I have really felt the loss of not having children of my own(we are close in age) and feeling that my age has taken the decision away from me.

Hey Vista,

I think you treated the chart as a natal chart. It is a horary chart, so the fifth house isn't her natal house, this isn't what she has going on personally. This chart relates to a question she asked, and describes the factors related to that question.

I am really sorry if I posted the wrong chart in the wrong place. I misunderstood the directions then. I thought I was to post my birth chart to ask a horary question.

I moved your thread to the predictive section due to it being natal with transits showing.
If you have a horary question, the chart is created from the precise time you thought of the question, its the birth chart of the question, its time, place and date. Say, if you thought of a question at 4.36pm today in New York, you would create a brand new chart born on today's date, at born at 4.36pm in NY. :)

ModCleo- Thanks for being so generous with your time and I may take you up on a PM. Sometimes things get lost in translation on posts. My husband is my soulmate and cares very much for me and my well being. I meant he doesn't care if I get pregnant because he loves me for me, not for my baby making(or lack of) skills. You would touch so many lives if you would be an egg donor. I know so many women on other sites that deal with infertility that would be sooooo thankful to have an option like that to experience pregnancy, childbirth, and raising a child. Bless you.

Vista- ahhhhh the last few years of trying......what a roller coaster. I have a choice to go on to more expensive and intensive treatments but wanted to see if they would all be in vain. You know the pain.......

My mom has liver cancer and I also wanted so desperately to give her a grandbaby for some motivation to stay alive longer.

I don't see it. Your fifth house is in the sign of virgo, the barren one..
Making these statements without looking at the whole chart is not the way to go. Virgo is connected to fertility and is a yin sign. THere are plenty of single mothers after all.
