View Full Version : Sun, Saturn and North Node opposing Tenth House
catastrophe

I've noticed that my Sun, Saturn and North Node (All in Capricorn, third house) are all opposing my Tenth House/MC (28degrees in Cancer)... I don't know very much about the north/south nodes and their relation to astrology as a 'whole' so I was confused as to what this could mean for me in my life-journey, as if I'll have to make-it-or-break-it more than previously anticipated by seeing my chart.
But I have found out after searching around, that Jupiter in Leo in the tenth house is a sign of luck? and also read "If Jupiter is within 10° of the midheaven it is conjunct the tenth house cusp, and much of the previous paragraphs is even more strongly emphasized."
(My Jupiter is sitting R at 10'30degrees in Leo)
Now after really looking at all this, I'm sitting kind of confused, wouldn't this create some conflict down the road?

This Jupiter conjunction is very wide and retrograde ie: going backwards, suggesting delays and introspection.
Your chart lacks the elements of fire and air and water, so pluto, jupiter and venus are classed as 'singleton'. No having 6planets in 3rd house naturally ruled by gemini says that this element at least is compensated by air Asc and planets in air house......

(There is a book out by Shirley Lyons Meier, "Elemental Voids, More than Meets the Eye", which gives a good discussion of missing elements.) The Inferior Function can be a source of great motivation and creative expression.

Re: North Node
This is conjunct natal saturn, suggesting delays, frustrations, limitations. So your 'life lessons' are to build something practical, tangible Saturnian for family, home roots, family members. A legacy through hard work and good working practices...

Makes a little more sense... I was a little unsure about the jupiter handle and what it could mean, as it is in retrograde.
Thanks for your input!
