I was wondering what you all remember before you got here? And if you had any adult thoughts when you were a child under 4 years old. I have a child that remembers a lot including her birth experience and many things before she got here and bits and pieces of what she is suppose to do. Anyone else?

Ah.
Well, I feel this is HUGE subject.....
And a highly personal and private one for me, so I won't really talk so openly about my own experiences.
However, of course, there are cultures all over the planet (those primarily who experience reincarnation) to whom this is a very regular occurance.
One thing I can say, however, is when I have opportunity to speak with children, I usually ask them about their dreams...
It's good if you have already established trust with them...as you have with your own child. Then it's easier for them to open up about these things.
Whether memories are positive or negative we can help them integrate them so they can blossom fully in this life.

I know a young man who as a little boy his parents asked where he was before he was born. He said mars. They asked what did he learn there. He said...."Jump. Don't Fall". Very mars!!!! This little boy was only 3 and knew nothing about mars and it's astrological symbolism or mythology.

Hold-over memories from previous sojourns are not uncommon. Many children have them and parents ignore them. Feel free to ask some questions, but don't push for information's sake. Some children can develop psychological trauma from the memories, though that generally only happens when a parent won't let them forget. We are supposed to forget such things. It's how we wipe the slate clean between lives. It's okay to ask questions, but if the child gets upset, comfort them and then let them go play.

I had a TON of thoughts when I was a little bitty child that were profound and of a depth I cannot understand how I had. I cant remember alot of it now except vaguely like a dream, no specifics. However, when I was a BIT older...started when I was in 1st grade, I went to a private religious school and I got in trouble for leading a group of kids into a circle having us all cross or legs with each other, hold hands and direct energy into the sky. LOL! I had no where to get this from! I tried to say it was a new way of "praying" the teachers were highly disturbed by it. I also used my "mind powers" alot to see things, to go into peoples dreams and try to make funny things happen. I dont know if it worked obviously, but just that I had the notions....

That's great. Of course in some traditions past life memories are encouraged and enhanced as a basis for spiritual development, especially in certain individuals. I think as a cultural phenomena it is very healthy....eases minds about many issues....

in buddhism, there are highly realized monks that remember past lives through meditation. And as many know, that is in part how they find the next Dalai Lama, and most other high lamas.

I can picture this group of small children circled around and the shocked teachers. I love it. I don't remember having memories of other lives or places as a small child, but I had some strange experiences.

That's amazing. I wonder if we sometimes give too little credit to young minds. Perhaps he heard his astrology-loving parents speak about it or heard something somewhere.

Until my 16-17, especially when i was 9 to 12 years old, i had memories that i have been in some large city with many many lights, the strange was that i never had a day memory, all the memories was in the night.Later when i visited New York i' m quite sure that was the city.
And i also have some memories in a place with many many stairs, stone stairs.
The other think was very strange is music, when i was a kid, i had the memory of the music saxophone and piano, thing which were too far away from me, since i was born and raised in a small city of 3000 people, and no one in my immediate or even in distant environment was listening that kind of music.
