progressions + tranists = double whammy

Hi all,

Something has just occurred to me, even though you all probably realised this eons ago ;)

Sometimes, and especially with slow moving planets, you will have the same planet PROGRESSED in and TRANSITING the SAME HOUSE, for a long while. (Revelation!!) You may even have it in the same house natally, too.

I have just realised that both Saturn and Mars have progressed into my 2H, and soon enough, both will also transit my natal 2H. As I don't have anything natally in 2H, I don't identify much with it. This will be my chance to figure out what it all means for me...

Anyone else have an experience to report with double-whammy planet progression/transits in a house?

(p.s. - just realised that I spelled transits wrong. How irritating, I can't get back in there!)

Howl,

Because of the slow movements of progressions, I only look at progressions for the faster moving planets: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, and Mars. I reserve transits for the slower moving planets: Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. So I avoid this problem.

Anyone else have an experience to report with double-whammy planet progression/transits in a house?

My daughter has an 11th house Saturn in Leo which has moved a few degrees progressed.
She has been quite concerned about a friend since schooldays (and chief witness at her wedding) 'distancing' behaviour towards her over the last few months. She and several other girls in their circle of friends are all parents but her friend doesn't want children. Last weekend, things came to a head at a barbecue party and her friend caused a great stir by telling my daughter 'en public' that she totally ignored and wasn't interested in her nowadays, and all talk revolved around children which didn't interest her. My daughter was VERY upset (double Libra+ Mercury not interested in another???) regarding the outburst, especially as it followed a card, letter and unreturned phone calls she had made asking her friend what, if anything, was wrong. My daughter has said that she has reached the end of the line. This is it and as far as she is concerned the friendship can die a natural death.

Needless to say, transiting Saturn crossed her 11th house cusp a few months ago. It reaches its return in a matter of weeks !
Saturn is ruler her I.C. Her 2nd pregnancy has recently been confirmed.
