Hi everyone,

I've recently taken an interest in astrology and have been taking it all apart systematically, focussing on one piece of the puzzle at a time. So far I have learnt about the sun sign, ascendant and moon sign, and will be moving on to the planets and houses soon.

I'm interested in hearing if there is anything that particularly stands out in this chart. The Capricorn ascendant fits very well, as people tell me I come across as conservative, organised, competent etc (all the while I'm thinking WHAT?). I can be quite wild and energetic once I'm comfortable with someone though, which I assume can be attributed to the Sagittarius sun. The Capricorn moon seems to represent the huge difficulty I have expressing feelings and understanding what I am actually feeling, as well as a self-imposed sense of disconnection from others.

The seventh house Cancer cusp was one of the first things I found interesting as it absolutely reflects all that I seek in intimate relationships: home, nurturing, caring etc, but I feel like something is preventing me from seeking it. I tend to fall hopelessly in love with girls who don't feel the same way about me, and let it weigh on me quite heavily.

Overall, my chart seems fairly imbalanced, with almost all the planets in that top left-hand side. Is this a "bucket" type chart?

Cheers!

Welcome to AW,

Overall, my chart seems fairly imbalanced, with almost all the planets in that top left-hand side. Is this a "bucket" type chart?

My way of helping newcomers is for them to do more research and learning rather than just ‘drop the answer in your lap’ and not necessarily to provide professional readings and forecast future events. If you are truly interested in astrology, I and most others here will help you…..
Having a Sagittarius MC which is the sign of the teacher and I do indeed teach astrology. This forum is a wonderful community of all mixed levels and types of astrologers. So I may provide links to encourage you in the hope that if you are sincerely interested enough you will do the research and enlighten yourself….

There is a 'plethora' of information on AW, espec in the 'stickys' at the top of every forum, our Education forum and Recommendations forum to. Plus we have a good search feature, bit like google using keywords --

You have calculated your chart using the default on astro.com of placidus and I use Equal House system and am a modern astrologer. Lots of people that come into Astrology get their free charts calculated at www.astro.com (http://www.astro.com/) and the default ‘house system’ used is Placidus and think that’s just the norm and all that there is……..BUT that is just the tip of the iceberg. You can change the default on astro.com in Extended Chart selection to Equal house and a few more.

Throughout the forums but mainly in natal astrology there are two main branches Placidus (unequal size houses) v Equal House (whereby each house is same size) but lots more……. For more information on these go here.

It's only with study and research will you be able to assess where your planets are deposited and in which houses... thus see which 'glove fits'

I notice you have put 12noon on this chart it this because you don't know your time of birth pls? this is important

You have an unaspected sun, this simply means it doesn't link in or make any major aspects within your chart -- for research try here

Just look at the huge 1st and 7th houses. Now in Equal house Venus, uranus, moon and neptune are in 12th house and saturn in 11th. Mercury, mars & pluto in 10th and sun in 11th

When I first read your post about being a Sag with a Capricorn moon and ascendant, it brought to mind a guy I was friends with in high school with the same configuration. Looking at your chart, I realized you actually have the same birthday (same year!) as him as well....so very similar charts! His sag stellium was in the twelfth house though and the other planets moved a little more counter-clockwise as well.

Some things that jump out at me right away from looking at your chart are the moon/neptune conjunction on the cusp of the twelfth house and the saturn/venus/uranus stellium in the eleventh with venus and uranus tightly conjunct. Moon conjunct neptune indicates a very empathetic nature and even a sponge for other peoples 'vibes' and emotions...could be quite a dreamer too and gets emotionally caught up in fantasies. Sag stellium in the eleventh seems really altruistic and 'for the people' kind of person. Saturn here could create issues having to do relating to others on a 'group' level or 'blending in' with the group...especially with uranus there as well.

sun conjunct midheaven indicates a strong need to 'be somebody' and maintain a certain status in society. Career will probably be a focus for you and perhaps traveling and being exposed to new ideas and concepts which interest you as well since you have quite a few planets in the ninth plus all that sag..

Hi there Gbm7

Don't mind If I take a bash at it do you since I'm also pretty new to this whole thing?

Having so much in one area (Sagittarius & Scorpio) respectively puts you at some kind of disadvantage with other people, true of you or not?
As in you like to associate with one kind more than many kinds. You like to keep people in check, not so trusting?

Especially since you are Capricorn Rising and Capricorn Moon, you have a pretty hard time figuring people out when it comes to matters deep below the surface - true of you or not?
