No. Combustion and Cazimi (which is what she meant) does not apply to anything other than planets combust/cazimi the Sun.

Astrologers don't actually have to study to do readings, if they talk to the Pleiadeans through their pineal glands, I guess. Ironically, the Pleiades in fixed star lore are referred to as the Weeping Sisters, a harbinger of woe. This article certainly bought a tear to my eye.
