There is this woman I seem to have feelings for; problem is I tend to have a lot of trouble getting through to my emotions, so I thought I'd give it a shot with horary astrology :).
Do I love the mermaide?
Chart of question asked:

Thanks for any help.

To answer my own question, lol :D:
- Libra Asc, sign of relations, should be a good thing.
- Sun Conj Merc in Cancer, emotions. I think I love her?
- Venus in Gemini, again mental activity and love.
- Venus opposition Pluto in Sag in 3th House. Venus is love, Pluto is control? Sag is optimistic, 3rd house is communication. I control my emotions through thought? Something I tend to do more often.
- Mars is opposition Moon.
Yes you love her - just watch the aspects between Venus and Mars...

I agree with Radu, although I think that your significator (Venus) in Gemini may show that you are still undecided about what you're going to do about it.

Ok, so sextile Venus Mars means you love someone. Good to know.
"I agree with Radu, although I think that your significator (Venus) in Gemini may show that you are still undecided about what you're going to do about it."
Lol, sort of: I last saw her almost a year ago, and I've been wanting to visit her ever since. Add to that that I still concider myself too young for a relationship (even though I'm 21) and that she's quite a few years older (not that that would stop my feelings for her, but I don't expect it to make things easier).
But if I do love her (emotions that have been confirmed from other reliable sources as well), I know what to do next. Thanks for the respones guys :).

Looking at the chart a bit more:
- Sun and Mercury in Cancer: the hart of the thing is a mental question about emotions.
- Libra in Ascendant: the focus of the question is relationship.
- Mars is in Leo, making for very strong and positive desire.
- Mars trine Pluto, making me goal orientated.
- Mars opposite Neptune, causing ilusion and confusing, probably for me about my own emotions, or speaking of Mars, desires.
- Mars sextile Venus, suggests a strong and passionate love.
- Mars opposite Moon, not sure what this would mean, perhaps that I feel conflicted by these emotions? Or that I have trouble controlling them.
- Venus in Gemini, no idea, other than what Sorehearted suggested. Maybe a love playful in nature?
- Venus square Uranus, I guess is my insecurity about having a relationship, being tied down. Or the confusion about my feelings for her.
- Venus trine Neptune: "The trine formed between Venus and Neptune denotes a highly romantic nature..." I start floting when I'm around her alright.
- Venus trine Moon: "This is one of the best combinations for a romantic attraction. You really enjoy each other's company. You are sexually attracted, and have a sympathetic, emotional harmony with each other. You enjoy an attitude of mutual consideration and kindness." Ie the love is emotionally well supported.
Something I did notice, is that my Venus and Mars often alternate having opposition/trine to other planets (about three times, with Moon, Neptune and Pluto).
Also very positive:
- Moon sextile Pluto: "The sextile between the Moon and Pluto generates emotional understanding in your nature. You are deeply emotional, but controlled..."
Ok, so I do love her, it's pretty clear about that.
But there do seem to be some negative aspects, which might indicate that I don't feel ready yet for a relationship (like I said). Or rather that I'm confused about my emotions.
Most negative aspects seem to indicate my confusion about my feelings. Except for Mars opposition Moon, although that one too could be interpreted as such: conflicted emotions.
Well, I do think I learned a few things, and it was definitly a good experience in Horary astrology.
Also interesting is my learning process: being a strong Mars/Mercury person, I have a strong need to express my train of thought. With my Mars opposite Saturn, that also allows for correction of my zealous, but often jump-to-conclusions way of thinking. So if you feel like making corrections or suggestions, please do.

You're making the chart too complicated, and seem to be confusing natal aspects with horary aspects. Stick with the basics: Venus (you) applies by sextile to Mars (her); the Moon in the 5th of pleasure applies to you by trine and by opposition to Mars. Oppositions aren't necessarily bad; it means that there may be some difficulty to overcome in order to bring the thing about.
For horary, don't worry about the outer planets so much, unless they scream to be looked at. The moon has just passed a conjunction to Neptune, so you *could* say that there is definitely an element of fantasy or unreality to this question. I wouldn't even bother looking at Pluto in this particular chart. It's easy enough to read 'as is'.

Thanks Archergirl: like I mentioned, I tend to be overenthousiastic in my reasoning. But the advantage of having Mercury/Mars combined in my natal chart means I tend to make my mistakes easily known, and thus susceptible to correction (Saturn in 10th opposition Mars). It's the best way for me to learn :).
One question though, isn't the male suposed to be represented by Mars?
"Oppositions aren't necessarily bad; it means that there may be some difficulty to overcome in order to bring the thing about."
Because here too, I figure it would make more sense for me to be Mars, opposite Moon (my emotions) in order to get to Venus (the fact that I love her).
"element of fantasy or unreality to this question"
Neptune here also worries me a bit: I learned from my natal chart that I'm susceptible to fantasising about love instead of acting upon it (Venus square Neptune), so Neptune so close to the Moon is a concern to me; could this love be too much based on fantasy (although that can be an advantage all the same)?

I believe the querent is always signified by the ruler of the Ascendant, regardless of sex ;)

If there was any doubt over which significator was to be used for the querent/quesited, then you could use Mars=young man, Venus=young woman, Sun=man, Moon=woman, but that's not the case here, where you (quesitor) are clearly delineated by Venus as ruler of the 1st, which suits the question, as it's a love question. Moon in this chart=action/intention, also clearly showing the nature of the question by residing in the 5th of pleasure.
The fact that Venus applies to Mars indicates that you are the more keen of the two to develop the relationship. You (Venus) are pursuing her (Mars). The fastest moving planet is always the most keen.

Aha, I see; thanks, that would explain some of the other horary stuff I've been reading ;).

I went to visit this woman two days ago, which was about a year after the last time I saw her.
I caught her in her pj's: my venus in second was quite pleased, to say the least .
We talked, I got her birth data (she knew the hour, yay :D), and I ended up telling her I cared for her strongly. But she didn't say it back. Contrary to what I was expecting though, this lack of positive response hit me harder than usual. I figure it's not really a fleeting love, but something different.
Anywho, no better way to get it out of my system than to write about it. The healing power of whining and self misery, hooray!
Synastry and Composite charts:
http://www.publicupload.com/files/sanem_mermaid_synastry.GIF (http://www.publicupload.com)
1 Her Moon conj my Sun, her emotions carry my personality (which fits the concept that I fall for motherly women...).
2 Her Mars trine my Venus, no other aspects. Hubama hubama :).
3 Her Venus in my Asc, which explains why I think she's so pretty (she's 9 years older, yet she seems to be getting better looking with time). This is however opp my Moon, making me perhaps dependant on her love in a too mother-child way (Jezus, I sure know how to pick 'em).
4 My Pluto is conj her North Node? I teach her about power? At work?
5 Her Saturn in her 4th in my 7th, opp my Jupiter in 1st: as a partner she brings stability and limitations through her homely behavior. She also calms down my explorative nature, forcing me to compromise to her family enviorment (good thing, concidering my Saturn in 10th of work opp my Mars in 4th of home).
6 Odly enough, my Saturn is opp her Jupiter on my 4th cusp (my work against the expansion she brings into my homely life).
7 My difficult Mars in 4th is actually well received, conj her Asc. My Chiron in her Asc is also very nice.
8 And it's **** hard to find books on syanstry  (I usually find plenty of stuff in one library, never mind two).

Composites I don't have much exerpience with yet.
But what the heck:
1 Moon in Gemini in 3rd, we communicate and think a lot about our emotions. This opp Neptune (ruler Asc) conj MC. Not a clue, Neptune is not my strong point.
2 North Node in 5th in Leo. We learn from playing with each other?
3 Chiron in Taurus in 2nd: we heal each other through the stability of our possessions?
4 Jupiter in Aries in 1st (intercepted in Pisces), opp Saturn in Libra in 7th: our relationship would be very explorative in a lively way, but would concider the limitations and rules installed by a serious relationship.
5 Mars conj Venus nice, Moon conj Merc, in 12th house. I'm out. Thanks for reading.
