Just curious if i could get some insight into this particular progression and what could be going on in the next month, as I havent managed to get a lot from internet research. I found some info on prog moon sq. venus, but not specifically the opposition.

I know through reading the boards that it is the natal configuration and other major transits that will be 'activated' so I'll try to include them here in my own interpretation of what's going on. All help greatly appreciated.

----

Currently have progressed moon (2nd house) at 8'24 moving to oppose my natal Venus (8th house) at 9'38.
I think i'm feeling the effects heavily already, and am guessing that this will last until around late February.

My interpretation:

From what I know, contacts from prog. moon to venus bring love issues into direct focus. Well, a recent relationship that started last year recently ended (before prog.moon entered 1deg. orb though)
Natally I have Venus qunicunx Moon, and issues of conceding and giving greater priority to a partner were some of the reasons that this relationship did not work. However, I only just realized it. Perhaps the coming prog. moon helped me figure this out recently and highlight this, but not sure how that would play out in the next month when the progression is within 1 degree.
As for transits, t.Chiron in the 7th directly squared Saturn in the 4th when the relationship began. It is coming up to that same point again in the coming weeks.
In addition, t.Jupiter (ruler of 5th) is about to square my sun/moon midpoint, and Uranus (ruler of 7th) is sextile Jupiter in the coming weeks as well.
Both Venus and the Sun will be transiting my 7th house during this time.
In addition, the solar eclipse on the 15th directly conjuncted my 5th house ruler. Oh, and T.Neptune in the 7th is squaring Saturn, which has added to overall fog and confusion.

I feel that in the next month there are quite a few 5th and 7th (and 8th) house influences, as well as the same patterns that existed at the start of my last relationship, so there may be some actual events to address past and future love issues.
But since I dont know much about the opposition, I dont know how it could play out.
Could new relationships develop? Could another come into my life? Could I be set up to revisit my past one (things ended pretty well)?
Does the opposition set up positive potential for love connections, or does it generally lean towards high tension like the square that could create more blocks and frustrations?

Thanks for any advice and help! Would be happy to post chart if it would be useful

3Demon, the link you see here will help you in uploading your chart. Be sure you erase personal info if you want to keep your privacy. Yes, it is easier for everyone to see a chart, especially when talking about progressions and such.
Hope someone will come to the rescue:)

But since I dont know much about the opposition, I dont know how it could play out.

With an opposition there is a need for balance. It is not as problematic as a square where you have to overcome a certain problem. So the thing is to understand the energy of both planets and see if you can find a way to get them to work together.

Cheers, Starlink

Welcome to AW,

It's SOoooo refreshing to see a new member at least 'have a go' at interpreting their charts --- so well done

Progressed Moon in Virgo
After a somewhat naive and playful period while the Progressed Moon moved through Leo, this phase indicates a need and/or desire to perfect our craft. This is a time of dedication to work, health, and routine. This is a more introverted period in your life when you might have your "nose to the grindstone", so to speak.

Hvae you noticed last 8months under this progression a more quieter time more reflected on 2nd house matter ie: work, how you earn your money, your personal values and beliefs?

As for transits, t.Chiron in the 7th directly squared Saturn in the 4th when the relationship began. It is coming up to that same point again in the coming weeks.

I don't know an awful lot into chiron but if you want to research further try here --

regarding T jupiter -- when it get's to 2' Sagg or Gemini being direct and indirect midpoint for sun/moon also as you said 2' Pisces will be square to but with cosmobiology it's considered conjunct and effect (as in anything 2' 'mutable) this can be nice for a few days but socially and romantically, it would think T jup conj natal venus would be rather nice

Both Venus and the Sun will be transiting my 7th house during this time.
These two are so fleeting, just lasting hours or day or so, their influence is not major at all. When looking at transits it's usually mars onwards & espec the planets from saturn - pluto.

Now with progressions it's the reverse, it's prog sun, moon, mercury, venus and maybe mars that's important cos the outers hardly move at all.

Could new relationships develop? Could another come into my life? Could I be set up to revisit my past one (things ended pretty well)?

T Jupiter going through 7 & 8th houses shows promise but no guarantees.

Astrology is not about sitting home on the couch eating nachos and waiting for the planets to make good things happen in your life. It is always your responsibility to work towards making your own dreams come true. Horoscopes simply help you to schedule your actions for the best possible outcome

still trying to make sense of this one

also it looks like some big transiting planets are going to stack up opposite my progressed moon in the next 2 weeks

jupiter and the sun will conjunct my natal venus opposite progressed moon
also having a venus return this week before that happens, opposite progressed moon.

Lots of activity on natal venus, but with the prog. moon on the other side i dont know what to expect?

I've definitely felt some progressed moon issues on my venus lately - what emotionally satisfies does not aesthetically satisfy, and vice versa. The options that do both dont seem available. How do I find a balance? The options presented represent either one or the other but not both.
