Tomorrow is the big night - Italy vs France - which one could win?

June 9, 2006, 8:00 pm CED, Berlin, Germany (see chart attached).

It seems to me that Italy could win, because ASC is in Sag and its ruler is in 10 house direct! Both Sag and Ju are in connect with blue color so it is Italy. Moon is VOC, that usually means fovorites win, in this case it is Italy (3 times winner of world cup, France once.) Ruler of DSC is Me rx and peregrine on cusp of 8 house. Me is in connect with white color so I think it is Frnace. I also think this is a bad position of ruler, not as acidentaly digified as ruler of ASC. Planeth strength are Ju =12, Me rx=-8! Althought in big matches we can not expect many goals, I think this time we could expect many goals (more that 2) from these reasons:

*Moon is in double sign
*Ju in 10 house (Ju expands all)

I also think that public will support Italy, because Moon(public) is near ASC and in Ju sign, that means Moon loves Ju.

Match ended after penalty with result 6:4! I did not like match at all! Italy wasn't better (regular time 1:1), they just had luck (Ju, their ruler, benefic, accidentaly dignified, in 10 house) . As I said in one post of this forum, this is their chinese year, year of dog, so stars were them!

Yes well.. I lost a little money($30-) picking Italy to 'win'(at end of normal time!) I went for the greater odds.. than for simply winning the WC.. I was trying to make up for the lost $50- I bet on Australia to beat Italy.. even though there too I predicted Italy to win.. ie. Australia would lose(see post 'World Cup 06') I rather interestingly was hoping somehow that my prediction would play out another way.. ie. 'Aust would win'.. well they almost did(except fot that **** last minute penalty) Anyway I guess I'm still learniing to match my heart with my head at times.. but at least my astroloigal prediction techniques are working(see 'Need a Soccer prediction?').. I guess that's the main thing.. I just need to have more discretion with gambling.. not that I do it more than once a year.. if that.. However I have won at Rulette-'wheel of fortune' the last two times I have played(twice in 3 years!)

Yes looking at my chart I saw that *the Moon in Cap(9th csup) was squaring my prog Mars in Libra(5th) at the end of the game(exact) I guess that wasn't a good sign.. even though I looked before I placed the bet!!! However interestingly *the Sun in Cancer(3rd) formed an almost exact grand trine with my prog Saturn(Pisces) & my prog Neptune(Scorpio).. Indicating to me that I got the astrology of the game right.. which was at least some consolation..

Also at the end of the Australia v Italy game almost the exact grand trine appeared.. but with *the Moon in Cancer in the exact same postion at the Sun was this time.. a good lesson for me to learn:rolleyes: I do have Sag Sth Node(8th) sqauring Mars/Pluto/Uranus in Virgo(5th)

Come on! That penality that gave France the chance to score the first goal was completely unfair!

Here's what I'm really interested in though. Is there anything that astrology could say about Zidane's headbutt? I realize that fouls occur and red cards come out in football, but Zidane had a very special situation there with this game as his last (at least internationally). He was also the favorite for the Golden Ball. Any comments on that incident?

About Zidane's headbutt: I think it was just a release of too much pressure.
Edit: as I just read more about him, I found out it's not the first time he did it: it happened also in 2000 during a Champions League match, while Zidane was playing for Juventus Turin.

As I suspected in my earlier post(7/7/06) *Italy had the better of the transits.. particualrly trans Neptune very tight trine trans Venus(Conj their natal Gem Sun/prog Nth Node) See my post at 'Need a Soccer Prediction?'(NB:my 2nd attempt under Merc-Rx)) However the trans Moon closley squaring thier prog Venus/Mars seemed to co-incide most interstingly with their lack of energy(performance) in the second half.. (*France with the Mars squ prog Mars)

yes, I am intersted in that too and I plan to analize timing of goals and that time when Zidane get red card. Radu and Solastro already analize it from transite point and I plan to do it this afternoon.

About timing of goals (Placidus houses):

1st goal was scored in moment when progresed ASC was in exact(5') square with Nodes(20:06)

2nd goal was scored when ASC/DSC axis change sign (20:15)

Referee show red card about 22:17 but for that time I have no change in chart until 10:20 when Pl ingress in 10th house (violence infront of public).

I was wondering about Zidane's birthtime(3am).. I didn't have it.. so yes I suspected there might be 'a tense' *'Mars-Moon' aspect(1deg+ sep).. I used sunrise chart.. but I certainly did noticed *the Moon(0deg30) sqauring(0deg30 sep) his *prog Pluto in Virgo!.. yes while applying(0deg30) to oppose his natal Sun.. while *the Cancer Sun closely square his *Chiron in Aries!!! the place of wounding.. where lessons of Aries(ruled his Mars in Cancer! conj his **Sth Node!!)still not learnt.. a water & fire sqaure!! So this interests me also.. combined with the other aspects...

You are refering ot eh Mundane chart of course at the place of the final.. that's interesting didn't look at that.. I looked at the Asc & MC for Rome to their natal/prog Chart etc.. to see wehre these pionts(Asc/MC) lined up at those locations..
