Does anyone here have two or more of the same numbers amoung their core numbers? (Life Path, Expresstion, Soul urge, Persona) and feel that this a big part of thier personality, career or destiny?
I know that they all are part of your destiny, but do you feel that there is somthing that is really a mean focus of who you are or what you want too do in life.
I have an 11 Life path and 11 Expresstion number. I feel that I really want to do somthing artistic in life and I am going to do volenteer work over seas when I can afford it as I am currently out of work at the moment. I am asking this because I have posted threads about my birth chart saying that I do not feel like a triple fire and I am not very outgoing. I have just really been looking in to my numbers and now it really seems to make sense while I feel like I do. I know there are things in my chart that make me more introverted. But I have always been extremley aware and sensitive to things from
when I was very small and I love to help people and don't ask or need nothing in return. I hate the descriptions of Leo and Aries that I am meant to be immature, bossy, arrogant, selfish, quick to anger and self centred when I feel that this is really not the case with me. Of course EVERYONE can be have these traits somtimes and I do too, but this is not ME on an everyday level. This isn't me personality. I hope I am putting this accross right as I feel there are going to be posts saying things like - See this IS you.
Hi Katles,
Don't worry, I'm not here to tell u who you "really" are ;) I haven't had a look at your birth chart recently, but my guess is that you can 'direct' all that fire you supposedly have in a specific way - perhaps for you, it means a lot of energy for altruism, or personal creativity. I have a lot of fire too, and most people who have a look at my chart guess at first that I'm quite outspoken, but I hate to "overrule" people, I won't do it if I can avoid it.
Note that on astrology-numerology.com, life path 11 is also considered life path 2, which may be particularly true while you are young.
http://www.astrology-numerology.com/num-lifepath.html
What do you think about lifepath 2?
"The Life Path 2 suggests that you entered this plane with a spiritual quality in your makeup allowing you to be one of the peacemakers in society. Your strengths come from an ability to listen and absorb. You are a fixer, a mediator, and a very diplomatic type of person using persuasive skills rather than forcefulness to make your way in the world. When you embrace and exhibit the strenghth of your spiritual side, you are intuitive, avant-garde, idealistic, and visionary. These extremes make you interesting with much to offer society. You have the potential to be a deep-thinker, and no doubt interested in understanding many of life's mysteries and more intriguing facets"
Sounds a bit more like the wanting to volunteer overseas, being sensitive to your environment and hating to seem pushy :)
I have lovely number 5 as both my personality and destiny number; the freedom loving social reformer. Haven't looked into it much but it sounds pretty good!
Notice also that astrology-numerology.com breaks down your life path into three 'periods', the first one lasting until about age 28. Reading that comforted me a little! I have constant doubts that I may lack the focus, assertiveness and direction to get to where I'm aiming, but I'm only 24, and I get to enjoy the first 28 years of life under the influence of life path number 3. The remainder of my life is under the influence of bombastic number one, yeehah! Can't wait to see what that's like :D
What are your three lifepath numbers?
By the way, I am also wondering something about numerology. My 'personal years' (birth day digits + birth month digits + current year digits) don't fit!!
For example, 2006 should be a year '3' for me. It seems more like a four ;)
I've looked at the rest of my 'years' as well, and it just doesn't fit.
I can think of four plausible explanations:
1. Numerology, or at least 'personal year' numbers, don't work
2. You count the year from your birthdate, like a solar return (it would work for me this way!)
3. The imperfect division of time means that in true time, I may have been born a day later
4. I'm all out of whack with my own life
Oh, one more possibility: I repeated kindergarten, which may have 'reset' my personal year, effectively 're-shuffling' the progression of the rest of my life.
Just kidding about that one. I did repeat kindy though; I'm a December baby, and apparently at age five I lacked the 'social skills' for primary school :D I tell people that I failed fingerpainting.
Does anyone find the personal years to be accurate?

Maybe you don't respond well to 3's energy. I know that 3 periods have never seemed all mellow and playful the way they are described. I guess I don't respond to 3's all that well either. I do know the four energy seems much different to me though. With 4 I feel that as painful of as tedious as it might be I am working towards some things. 4 feels a lot like a saturn transit to me. Hmm, thanks for your thoughts. Supposedly, as the first 'third' of my lifepath is under the influence of number 3, I should connect. As the other years don't seem to match so much either, I'm tempted to just ignore numerological personal years for now :)

Hi Katles,
There are times where I feel the same way about my chart as you do. Having a predominance of earth in my chart would suggest that I am rather "cautious, premeditative, conventional, and dependable"; "a practical, ...stable, and concerned with physical well-being rather than spiritual attainment"; and "responsible, if a bit rigid, methodical and detail-conscious." Those descriptions couldn’t be farther from the truth! Now, earth has its good qualities just like any other element, but there are some details about these interpretations that I digress with as applied to my personality.
I cannot be practical to save my life. Nor do I possess an ounce of common sense :p. If you took me out of my house and forced me to live on my own, I’d probably die before the first week is over! (Need to work on that as I’m going to college next year). I usually think up outlandish, lurid solutions to solve my problems when a simple one should suffice. If by "responsible", you mean losing a purse, $100+ dollar calculator, and my School ID card in the same month, then sure, I’m “responsible”! And I am far, far, far from being reliable or dependable...I have a terrible tendency to say I'll come to this or that at five o' clock...and end up arriving anywhere from ten minutes to an hour later! There are times I am so detached from my chart, element-wise, I don't feel it is me at all.
I recently looked my core numbers and they more accurately describe me than those pesky "Earth Predominance Descriptions!" :D Both my Life Path and Soul Urge numbers is 5, which explains my freedom-loving, changeable nature! I love to travel and see new places. I can't stand routine. I must have variety and I want it now! I have no time to waste on being practical! I love to multi-task. If anyone tries to get too close to me, I need some room to breathe and slip away. I am much more light-hearted and whimsical (and dare I say it, a bit shallow at times :o...but I'm working on it!) than my chart would first suggest at first glance. 7 is my Life destiny Number and I have 11 as my personality number which helps explain my humanitarian instincts. They fit some parts of me much better than "reliable" and" responsible" ever could! ;)

Yes. If I remember correctly, both my personal number and my life path are 8. What astrological sign does 8 correspond with?
I would relate them both with Scorpio and Capricornus.
Capricorn is most associated with 8 and for the longest time, but Scorpio also... Although some write Aries & Scorpio as well to 9... But imo Scorpio and 9 don't fit, Scorpio and 8 fit more
I'm a 9 Birth Date Number and Full Name number
9 (9, 18/9, 27/9, 36/9) The Life Path 9 suggests that you entered this plane with an abundance of dramatic feelings coupled with a strong sense of compassion and generosity. The key to the nature of a Life Path number 9 person is found in their humanitarian attitude. Even the very average of those with life path 9 possess extremely compassionate tendencies.
Usually this number produces an individual that is very trustworthy and honorable, and one unlikely to harbor any sort of prejudice. Obviously, this is a rather tall order, but you are, in fact, a person that feels very deeply for individuals less fortunate than yourself, and if you are in a position to help, you certainly will. The 9, being the highest of the single digit numbers, holds an elevated position in terms of responsibilities to mankind.
Material gains are not overly important, although the quality of some life path 9 people is such that they are materially rewarded in very significant ways. In this, however, the 9 Life Path is not apt to get rich since they are very generous, sometimes to a fault, and usually have an easy come, easy go attitude about money. The rare 9 life path has a totally selfless attitude, giving up of material possessions for the common good.
The 9 Life Path indicates you have a commanding presence. You have the ability to make friends very easily, as people are attracted to your magnetic, open personality. The term "hail-fellow" may have been coined to describe a 9 Life Path, as you may indeed be one of those who is generally upbeat and heartily friendly and congenial. You meet people easily and are quickly befriended because of your openness and amiable demeanor. Your genial ways often put you in the lead in whatever field of endeavor you pursue.
Relationships can be difficult for you because it is hard to strike a balance that will work effectively. If your partner is one sharing your giving attitudes, the relationship will be happy and lasting. On the other hand, if you choose a partner whose focus is on material issues, problems will arise quickly.
You tend to be quite sensitive, as you see the world with much feeling. The number 9's very deep understanding of life is sometimes manifested in the artistic and literary fields. If drama and acting is not your forte, it will surely be an area of great interest and potential. Likewise, you may be able to express your deep emotional feelings through painting, writing, music, or other art forms.
The purpose of life for those with a 9 life path is often of a philosophical nature. Judges, spiritual leaders, healers and educators frequently have much 9 energy. The number is less inclined to the competitive business environment and may find this a struggle.
As do all the life path numbers, the 9 has its negative side. Because of the demanding nature of the truly positive 9, many tend to fail in this category. It is not uncommon for persons with the 9 life path to fight the realities and challenges of purpose imposed here because selflessness is not an easy trait. You may have difficulty believing that giving and a lack of personal ambition can be satisfying. It must be realized and accepted that little long-term satisfaction and happiness is to be gained by rejecting the natural humanitarian inclinations of this path.
I indeed have some selfless traits... the 9 does fit me completely
For the moment i'm in a Personal Year 3 number... imo they work (personal years) This yr seems happy and no strings attached... just the way i like it
Last year i was in a PY 2 and that year i had my only meaningful emotional relationship...

hi, both me and my husband have life path number as 11. i am interested by spiritual things but not at all the case of my husband. i've read somewhere that with 11 as life path number seems more difficult because most of us just live them as 2, the reduced 11, but they are essentially different. it seems that 11 is at a higher(spiritual) level and 2 is at material level. is it true?

hi ...
the application of 'personal years' is kind of tricky and i do not appreciate the methods most 'pop-numerology' books treat the personal year, and this could be part of the situation with it not "jiving" with the reality of your experience.
to look at the personal year, one has to look at the vibration of the year in general, i.e., this year, 2007 is a 9 vibration. that is the overall energy of the year for everyone within the prominant calendaring system of the western gregorian calendar. then, the personal year has to be 'synchronized' or 'synthesized' with that energy ... e.g., a personal year of a 2 in a 9 year, is a different experience than a personal year of a 2 in an 8 year. they will manifest totally differently. beyond that, to establish your 'alignment' with the prevailing energy (e.g., the year 2007), you have to establish (1) where you started within the 1-9 cycle (e.g., your personal year when born), and (2) where your cycle started within the prevailing energy's cycle (e.g., when your personal year was a "1" and what the vibration of the year was in the overall cycle).
i'm almost finished synthesizing a general description of personal years for 2007 ... i'll post it up on my blog by the end of the week. i'll be talking about 2007 on my next THE sideREAL world internet radio show this Saturday at 5:30 p.m. PST ... if anyone wants to know about their own personal numbers, you can call or IM the show during the live cast. i will give an overview for all the personal years so if you miss the live show, you can listen for your personal year on the podcast of the show ... see the link below for the address.

sort of ... actually, if you are an 11 it is 1-1, double 1 energy vibrating with the harmonics of the "2"; and that is the same of all the master numbers. to understand the 11 you have to understand the path of the "1" FIRST, and then see how it harmonizes, when mastered, as a "2".
if you do not actively or consciously use the master numbers, then i, like pythagoras and many other numerologist and numerological systems, believe that you manifest the 1-1 or double 1 energy exponentially in a negative pattern ... so its not just merely vibrating like a 2, but as a negative '2' harmonic. some say the exponent is 200% others as high as 400% for an 11. i find it hard to quantify the exponential system, but i do know that an person negatively using say a 20:2 versus a 11:2 does experience less extreme responses from the universe.
i have found that an 11 usually negatively manifesting results with an individual who, at best, is a completely self-serving individual, or, who, at worst, is a completely self-denying individual ... e.g., their individuality is held at such a low esteem they feel they are a complete waste of space and energy and have nothing of value to contribute to the whole.
the 1-1, 11 master is so powerful because if they are trying to live the 1 vibration at the higher level, then the 2 vibration is the manifestation of that high 1 expression. usually that results in a high response by the universe to everything the person expresses and initiates. it is the withholding (due to insecurity, fear or shame, etc.) of the individual "1" expression or initiation that puts the 11 in the negative manifestation. hence, the response from the universe could be extremely harsh if you are not actively initiating energy in the universe with a 1-1 or 11 vibration in any of your core numbers.
having the 11 as the life path is one of first knowing yourself very well, and second of initiating yourself, thoughts, ideas and energy into the world. often called a 'seeker' because 'know thyself' is the first part of the 11 puzzle, and then called the master teacher because it is through your actions and life that others learn how to live the "i am" in each one of us.
the interest into spiritual things isn't necessarily an "11" expression, it is the active and highest living of the "i am" that is the key. for instance, the person who knows what they want to do and goes out and does it, is a great example of someone with an 11 path expression ... "spirituality" as we commonly expect people to practice may or may not have anything to do with it. their consistency or inconsistency is usually connected to their ability to master themselves and their inner knowledge ... one can use spiritual practices to do that, but one can just do it without all the tricks, knowledge and wisdom contained within various spiritual pursuits.
