Hello,
While its obvious that a natal chart does not exist until the native is born and has drawn it's breath. But could the circumstances surrounding this native's birth, how they came into the world, be indicated by their Natal Chart or the Mother's Chart or both? The circumstances surrounding this odd event are completely accurate because it happen to a member of my family. A sister,(obviously) gave birth to her first daughter completely without the knowledge of being pregnant right up to the minute her water broke. (she was in denial even then). It was the first grandchild in both of the families involved so inexperience was part of the problem. The medical field had blamed a tumor on her pituitary gland as the reason she had had a drastic weight gain over the last six to nine months previous the birth. This tumor was also the absorber of the blame for her behaviour changes (hormonal changes) she experienced during the same time. No doctor ever took a pregnancy test. This beautiful baby girl came, "a miracle child" namely so, because my sister was put under and had the tumor removed when she was seven months along with the pregnancy unkown to anyone. My sister took all kinds of medicenes during the pregnancy. Bottles upon bottles of aspirin for almost constant migraines, Sinus pills, and diuretics. Only one thing was abnormal about the daughter, and that was some abnormal kidney functions. As of the 8th of this month it will be her 24th year with us and she will still not have had to have any treatment for this problem and she has made for herself a career she enjoys. I still have not got placing charts on my e-mails down pat, so I will just place the data. I feel the placement of their Neptunes has some to do with it.

Yes I believe a chart can reflect what has happened in the birthing process. My chart is a classic example of this.
My story is that I was one month overdue. I was about 11.5 pounds and about one month overdue. I was born caesarean. I came out kicking and screaming and bright red. I was put into solitary confinement because I was upseting all the other babies in the maternity ward. I also kicked my dad when he first saw me. My mother almost died when she gave birth to me.
My aspects in my chart are:
Jupiter (1st house) conj ascendant (large size)
Aries ascendant (kicking screaming and caesarean birth - mars ruler of the chart)
Moon opposed Jupiter - my size hurting my mum
Moon opposed chiron (also in 1st) - hurting my mum
Jupiter opposed pluto - again, might have something to do with causing a regeneration/near death experience to another (my mum)
Saturn square chiron (kicking dad! ha ha)
I was thinking the solitary confinement could be because of rebellious behaviour - Aquarian sun? :)
Ar = Arkansas right?
Mum has 5th house on gemini - mutability in procreation?
What do you mean about neptunes?
I noticed daughter has her neptune trine mum's sun and uranus.
Also daughter's uranus sextiles mum's jupiter - a shocking but happy moment?

This is an interesting idea, one which I have attempted to employ myself to determine whether I have an Aries or a Pisces Ascendant.
My mother went into labor the night before my due date, and as was customary with her pregnancies, nature was progressing rather quickly; I was expected to be born early the following morning. However, my birth was not to go off without a hitch, and several hours later my mother's contractions abruptly stopped. I am told that she was given the normal dosage of pitocin, but not being of average height and stature, this was too much. Supposedly, I broke the fetal monitor with my birth! :D
I believe my Aries stellium may be indicative of birth by force, but I cannot find any astrological evidence in my natal chart to suggest an initial delay or hesitancy to enter this world--unless, of course, I have a Pisces Ascendant. Neptune is generally regarded as the lord of drugs, especially those that induce mental haziness, but my mother did not accept any pain medication during her labor and pitocin seems to be more of the nature of Mars. What do you think?
EDIT: I was just browsing through the thread
Pluto conjunt Ascendent - any ideas? (http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2140) and discovered Miss Saturn had posted a relevant quote:
The description of your birth as a process parallels the development of your personality as a process. Birth circumstances include everything that happens before, during and afterwards and the personality which registers at birth, is a combination of many influences patterned in time. Personality is a mechanism by which you act out instinctive and unconscious contents, and is strongly influenced by the atmosphere around your mother at birth. Planets conjuncting your ascendant show people and influences directly affecting your birth and personality. When a conjuction is before (above ) the exact ASC, external influences affect the initiative part of your personality. When after your ASC the influence is strongest after birth and is an after effect of your personality. The closeness of the orb shows the strength of the planetary connection. This is how A.T Mann describes birth/Ascendant in the book The Divine Life Astrology and Reincarnation.

My birth was nice and quick. With me, my mother had six hours of labor (against the 26 hours she had to do when my older sis was about to be born).
I was supposed to be born on may 4th, but I was in a hurry,... I finally arrived on April 27th, at 11:45... and ready for lunch! (I´m a Gemini Asc, Mercury in taurus, Moon in gemini, Taurus Sun)

I was a tragedy. Really!
My heart wasn't beating, so mum had to be brought to the hospital immediately. I came out, but I wasn't yelling. I didn't cry either. My mum called the doctor.
The umbicial cord was winded around my neck. And I was 5 days early as well. My longs weren't fully grown.
So I was difficult.

Could my first house Saturn have been the problem? Or can I blame it to my Moon conjunct Pluto?
My chart can be found here:

There were two of us and I came first, hahah!

Some funny posts on here, made me smile.
I have Saturn on my Ascendant, but it wasn't a slow birth. My mum had gone along to one of her usual doctors appointments. When he examined her she was 6cms dialated, the doctor asked her if she was having any pains or contractions, my mum said she couldn't feel a thing. She had to be taken to hospital straight away. I have my Sun opposing my Saturn, and because my mum had to go the hospital my dad was late arriving for my birth, he was looking for someone to mind my two brothers, and only just made it on time. Which might have left my mum feeling alone and isolated.
Saturn- can mean not wanting to enter the harsh reality of Earth-life at all. I must have thought I could sneak out, or was trying to hide afraid to come out. Hoping no one would notice me aahhhh!

Hello,
My birthing was a normal birth as I was my mother's eighth one in 9 and 3/4 years. I was the first hospital birth though. My mother was already well practiced I suppose and her biggest relief from the heat was when she took shed of her "heat generating baggage" called...Me. hehe. I was called by my mom, the "Drought and Heatwave breaker". The night I was born the region was hit by large thunderstorms. Breaking the extented heat and drought that pervades the area most every summer. Maybe that has something to with a high amount of the "water element" in my horoscope hehe, and almost a life long fascination and study of meteorology and storms. yeah right. More likely coincidence (rain) and Aquarius Rising (science) It supposedly did not get very hot again the rest of the summer and we had a 10" snowfall on Christmas eve and -10F degrees on Christmas morning the year I was born. I did verify all this a few years back when I bought the climate records for the area. It was a record here. I doubt it had anything to do with my Natal Chart though. haha!

What about someone who was born with a heart problem? I had two major valves switched soon after birth ..and was birthed as a "blue baby", one who isn't breathing. I've been having a hard time trying to find this in my chart... Although, I've always found that out of pure, Sagittarian luck I survived... after all, it was a new surgery they used on me ..still a practice one.

Calico,
Odd you would mention the Blue Baby condition. The Mother of subject (my sister) was a "blue baby" too. She lived with it until age sixteen when she had a "heart attack" of sorts and they perform the open heart surgery and fixed it and said she had a heart the size of a forty year old. Its too long a story so I hadn't mentioned it. I do not think they had the technology at those times to fix it and the the doctors had said she would not live past her teens or twenties. But here she is 45 and three kids who have grown up. According to medical astrologer Diane Cramer's book "Dictonary of Medical Astrology", congential heart conditions usually have an emphasis in the Fixed Signs like you do. It also says Saturn square Venus can be seen like yours. My sister has neither though. But she has Sun square Jupiter which can be another indicator of heart disease according to the book. Not only was her child a miracle, but my sister is too.
Take Care.

I was born late, on the 42th week. I didn't want to come out on my due date, April 15th. My mom went into Labor on the 19th, and continued to be so for 36 hours... was born on the evening on the 20th ( Aries, 29th degree), nearly died.
What aspects would you attribute to that?

I think some people are born later or earlier because they have some destiny to fulfill.
For example. I was born 5 days early. I would have had a Cappy Moon. Cappy influences run in the family ;). Now I have a Scorpio Moon, conjunct Pluto. I think I have to work some things out. I have to learn how to live with these influences.
Do you have a first house Saturn? That indicates a difficult birth.

I heard another story from my mother lately. It turns out I almost suffocated when I wasn't a day old. It was the morning after my birth. My mother was taking a shower. Nobody was watching me. When she came back, she immediately noticed I was blue. She called a doctor and he saved my life. Apperantly I had to cough something up, but I couldn't.
Yes, I have a first house Saturn. But. My sister has a first house Saturn too, and her birth wasn't difficult at all. So it isn't true in all cases.

My mother was heavily drugged and knocked out during my birth. (As I understand was pretty much the custom at the time.)
But speaking of things shortly after birth, as some have brought out.....
I had a sister who was 9 years old who was very jealous of me. She did mean things to me all of my life. One of my earliest memories is of being told the story of how some one in the house found my sister holding me a few feet over my crib and dropping me. (It was somewhere between birth and 3 mos, I think.) This was apparently very traumatic to me as a young infant. I even had a dream about it recently.
Just wondering what my chart might indicate about this, and also the relationship to my sister.

Manic Monday,
I don't have Saturn in my first house, but I do have pluto!
What does that indicate?

I was told by an astrologer that I must have had difficult circumstances at birth. It was true, I had the umbilical cord tied around my neck, had to come cesaerean because I was feet first, and I was jaudice and needed a blood transfusion.
She surmised this from my Uranus(technology) conjunct my Asc. from the 12th with Jupiter (expansion) conjunct it also from the 12th. And maybe because they(Jupiter, Uranus and Asc.)are all opposing my Aries moon(7th house though, not 6th).
Referring back to my earlier post:
There were two of us and I came first, hahah!
Coming out first actually GAVE me an Aries MC, where my brother got a Taurean one. Had I given him right of way, I might have ended up as the materialistic one :p (Possibly less competitive too :D)
