Is it really my Father coming to me in my dreams?

I just wanted to know if my Father who passed away 8 yrs ago is communicating with me in my dreams. I have had a few over the years, used to dream often as a child and teen - abstract and fantastical things, but for 18 yrs now, just been getting the odd dream here and there. For instance - in one dream he was covered in white sheets, just his face appearing to me and he repeated every sentence I said, word for word, "I miss you the most in the world." "I love you the most in the world." etc,.. In the latest dream, he took my palm as if to read it, then asked me "What is it that makes you insecure?" and that was it. The first dream made me happy and relieved and the second dream is making me think. This is really the question at the core of my life right now. Without basic self-security, we cannot do/accomplish anything. So I thank him for this question. I don't want to disappoint him in not knowing the answer.

My father has appeared in all my dreams lately and they've always been very helpful. I just want to know if it's him. :)

I asked "Is it really my Father in my dreams trying to communicate with me?" My beginner's interpretation is below.

I am Moon in 6th H but in very early degree Capricorn. I don't know why.
My Father is Mercury in 7th H, Capricorn (He was also a Capricorn)
He is also Venus in 6th in Sag? Not sure why.
Also, he is Saturn, exalted in Libra. Saturn would describe my Father very much. Wise, dignified, hard worker, tough-love, everything that I imagine Saturn to be.
The Dream would be Neptune in the 8th H of Death. Fitting.

I don't see any immediate tell-tale signs, and I don't know why Moon and Saturn would square, but I see Neptune sextiling Venus, which could be a slight indicator that the dream and my Father are one - but I am doubting this is the answer.

I would say, yes, he is!
You are Moon he is Me. We see Moon goes to conjunct Me, but before that happen Moon first aspect Sa, in this case it is OK because Sa is ruler of 9 house which is connected with dreams ( http://www.skyscript.co.uk/temples/index_list.html), so yes, he try to comunicate with you in dreams.

It's amazing really. I had a feeling it's true but the mysteries of the afterlife, dreams and communication is baffling sometimes. I'm actually really a little overwhelmed at this possibility. The most important thing is to listen to the message very very well.

My Dad died in a construction accident when I was 13 and I've had 5 such visits from him. The last time he visited both me and my daughter the same night......confirmation it WAS a visit and not a dream. I don't know about you but I always woke up VERY refreshed like I really did get a great and much needed visit in. It was never earth shattering revelations or anything....just some quality Father/Daughter time. It's been about 5 years since the last event occurred. I AM a believer.

Yes, Amy. You're right. I really feel the messages are ones only he'd know, only he'd send me. And I do feel very refreshed, emotionally. Like the missing is alleviated in a little way. :(
