"Proof Positive" Past Life man's progressions

I've been reading about the 12th house today(I noticed other posters have lately).

Then on the SciFi show,"Proof Positive", they had a cool story of a man who had a pastlife flashback
when visiting a Civil War site.

Background:
He wasn't a particularly spiritual man, nor a hardcore skeptic...A respected,
hardworking firefighter of 30 years, no history of mental illness..he passed
the show's lie detector/background tests as well.
What is fancinating is...On his 30th birthday, he had a sharp pain in his
left face/jaw. The hospital records (I paused to get his birthday, astro addict much? lol)
showed he checked himself in, but no
medical cause was found.
He took the trip to the area around 50,
feeling drawn to it, then had a vivid image of himself in battle garb. He
heard himself say, "Not yet, not yet!".
He set about researching this area, he remembered a magazine he had ordered
years ago...While flipping through reading, a quote & picture caught his eye..
Not only did this picture of the general look just like him, but the man
had the same scars as he did confirmed by a photo expert..
but at 30, died of a injury to his left jaw, and
his last words were "Not yet".

I thought you would like to see his chart, & progressions/SA at 30. :)

I'm just wondering, shouldn't there be some sign of violent death, war etc, in his chart, reflecting his background as a general and his death? Mars in aspects to the north node for example? Or am I just too inexperienced to see it? :)

interesting you say fire fighter the aspect between neptune in Libra (balance justice) to Mars in Cancer (putting out fire with water) is very noticable.......this would indicate a death by fire with the karmic backlash to want to fight fire ....so the opposite aspect would be more pronounced poss a link with uranus and mars in fire signs in the 'General's' natal chart

finally the South Node of Karma is in a fire sign, coincidentally the sign of Jupiter which is in 12 house of self undoing, close to the ascendant...... indicating a Leader such as a General....who's self undoing may have been fire hence the north node of the future life reacts against that....this guy may burn in strong sunlight.

My .02:

In terms of past life info, Lineman (Your Prenatal Eclipse) states that
the planet that lies directly ahead of the Prenatal Solar Eclipse is the
key planet and it describes the most recent past life. This man has a
29 Tau PNSE, which makes Uranus the key planet. Uranus indicates a
sudden death, Mars is H8 indicates an unnatural death, perhaps violent.

Hard aspects from Ura to H10 indicates death related to career
perhaps. Ruler of H8 hard aspect to Nep, means might have
been a suicide or suicidal battle or massacre something like that.
Ura indicates the general might have been a bit of a rabble rouser.

Just guessing actually. Also the important thing to keep in mind is
that it is possible that the general was not the firefighter's last life.
If the general died suddenly in the civil war he most likely
would have reincarnated quite quickly.

(Soldiers killed in battle come back right away usually, they do not
spend a lot of time in between lives for a number of reasons.) Civil
War was in early, mid 1860's, so there
could have been another life in between.

It is hard to get good specific info from a natal about past lives,
you can get generalities.

PS Another problem is that the notion of linear
sequential lives is human, not spiritual. Some
think that we do not incarnate in a linear fashion.
We may go back and forth in time depending upon
what the soul needs to work on. Again more like a
merry go round that we can hop on and off of. Time
is an artifact of humans living on a planet with limited
dimensionality.

Also all past lives may not be literal, may be symbolic code
downloaded somehow in our soul DNA. Some think we have
a mixture of real and symbolic coded lives. All of this is coded
in our auras. It does not matter at all if it is real or literal, the
story is there in our auras for a reason, it is a critical life
lesson for us.

So it is quite complicated.
