I am so tired of asking and waiting :-)
I am willing to learn more about Horary to read the charts by myself.
Any books you can suggest?
I was thinking maybe Anthony Louis' Horary Astrology Plain and Simple ?
[Moderator note - thread moved here as seeking a recommendation on a book and not discussing a Horary chart.]

John frawley, The horary textbook
You can get a copy of christian astrology off skyscript,
http://www.skyscript.co.uk/texts.html
People call it the horary doctrine basically.

I use "Horary Astrology Plain and Simple" by Anthony Louis. It is a fun read, uses lots of examples, goes over different thoughts and experts such as Lilly and Bonati etc. It has lots of good tables and info. Just a great first book...great.

I suppose all horary writers are idiosyncratic to a degree. I like Horary Plain and Simple, but I wouldn't start with it as the author uses outer planets as rulers, minor aspects, etc., and it may lead to some confusion.
I like Frawley except that he's got receptions front-to-back, which was easy enough to do. He studied with Olivia Barclay and it was she and Clive Cavan who discovered Christian Astrology (I think there were about 25 copies left in print at the time - scary!) back in the early 80s. All credit to Olivia and I'm sure she did better than I'd do, but she thought Lilly had misunderstood reception, and he hadn't.
I like Lee Lehman's book because she's a clear writer and has over 100 worked charts in it - always a good thing.
You are going to need to read Lilly - and re-read Lilly - and re-read Lilly - and refer to Lilly for the rest of your life. Sahl covers almost all the same territory, but he doesn't have worked chart examples, and Lilly does. Sahl, though, was the clearer writer by far, and James Holden did a wonderful translation.
Anima Astrologaie has a lot of Bonatti's aphorisms in it and they're worth studying. I have a few other tracts that have been translated, but I cannot afford the massive work that Ben Dykes translated - the 1230 page one.
Still, Lilly is pretty faithful about reporting his sources. You just need to get used to his English - no easy task, I know!
Woow..Thank you...
i am gonna try to read again Lily and your are right about his english,i really get used to..:D

A list here http://www.astrologyweekly.com/more-horary/books.php
I was never found of nor clicked with the Louis book. But then again horary is not my forte. I do have it and I also have SIMPLIFIED HORARY ASTROLOGY - Ivy Goldstein-Jacobson which is great and I have Raphael's from the 1920's I believe.
