Just wondering how many of you have children and if you've used their charts to help guide your parenting styles? Have any of you used synastry charts to khelp overcome inherent challenges between you?

Nope, no children for me...although if I was a parent, I would probably use the methods you have described above as well as my own intuition ;)

Yes I have looked at my Son's chart he is only Ten months old. I don't like some of the descriptions of his aspects which describe me as a mother. I wish I never looked at his chart, it just gets me paranoid. Looked at the synastry between our charts and I just worry about how our relationship will be. It is just too close for comfort, because if he has any bad aspects I will blame myself thinking maybe I don't show him enough love. For example he has venus square saturn and I think does this relate back to me as a parent. I do feel like I am a loving mother but not according to my sons aspects.

I have no kids yet but I´m sure I´ll use astrology to understand possible situation, and mostrly to help delevop themselves...

Actually I use my mother´s chart to try to understand our complicated relationship (well, if you see my chart... moon is in the 12th square mars opposite neptune, and square venus if you use a wide orb) We have exactly the same ascendant (29º gemini) and I have found out that my north node (1st house, cancer) is conjucnt her south node (1st house, cancer) and therefore my south node is conjunct her north node.
And maybe the reason why I have moon in the 12th (conjunct) with two/three stressful aspects is because she also had issues with her mom (she also has moon in gemini in her 12th house conjunct sun-sextile pluto)
but she didn´t quite resolve, evolved the situation,... so I think that´s why it´s my duty (saturn in 4h house) no matter if I like it or not (square north node) to develop harmonious relationships in home ( satrun and a stellium in libra) and I need to balance family home with career, but to stand caring in my feet, not relying on others too much.
I feel my "node" task is to find a subtle balance between myself and others, my home and my career. I can´t be more drawn more to one than to the another one. Analyzing my mom and grandma (also sis) chart helped me a lot to understand our relationship and what it´s for me to do what I´m supposed to do in this life if I want to evolve into someone better....

After this, there should not be no doubt that I´ll check in my kid´s chart to check how I´m doing ;)
