The Dragon's Head & Tail
The Lunar Nodes Change Quality
Pisces/Virgo - 22 June 2006 to Dec. 18, 2007
By Theodore White; Judicial astrologer
June 2006 -- A New era is about to begin with the entry of the transiting Lunar North Node into tropical Pisces, and the Lunar South Node into tropical Virgo on 22 June.
Arriving just a day after the start of the summer solstice in the northern hemisphere, and the winter solstice in the southern hemisphere, the Dragon's Head enters tropical constellation Pisces for a 18.6 month transit as the Dragon's Tail transits through tropical constellation Virgo.
This nodal "change of quality" is mutable with the North Lunar Node being ruled by Jupiter/Uranus/Neptune and the South Lunar Node ruled by Mercury, the traditional ruler of Virgo.
As the nodes pass out of the cardinal mode of quality of Aries/Libra (where it has been since 26 December 2004, the world is entering a new nodal era ruled mainly by Jupiter and Mercury - an intense, and changing 18-month cycle that presages the future times of the coming decade of the 2010s.
This nodal era transit along the axis of Pisces/Virgo can bring about a new sense of beginnings for people all over the globe as the issues from events since late Dec. 2004 end and mark the opening of a powerful global cycle from June 2006 to mid-December 2007 under the direction of Jupiter (judgement, leadership, spirit) and that of Mercury (discrimination, discernment, details). This nodal cycle, by the time it has completed itself in December 2007 will have presaged the decade ahead of the 2010s, and asks of us to prepare in advance.
During the transit of the Dragon's Head in Pisces and the Dragon's Tail in Virgo, there will be six solar and lunar eclipses:
7 September 2006 - Lunar Eclipse 15/PISC
22 September 2006 - Solar Eclipse 29/VIRG
3-4 March 2007 - Lunar Eclipse 12/VIRG
18-19 March 2007 - Solar Eclipse 28/PISC
*28 August 2007 - Lunar Eclipse 4/PISC:
(close to the Synetic Vernal Point at 5/PISC)
11 September 2007 - Solar Eclipse 18/VIRG
These transits are mutable and release energies across the globe that will play strong parts in the world's weather, seismic activity, and a wide range of global issues that have been left unresolved. Some of the most powerful earthquakes can take place during the transit of the lunar nodes in mutable signs such as Pisces and Virgo. Care should be taken to monitor volcanic activity related to the synergy of line-ups of the Earth-Moon-Sun, and the combination of transits between late June 2006 to mid-December 2007.
Transiting Jupiter, after it makes ingress into tropical Sagittarius in late November 2006, will square the Lunar nodes several times during 2007, causing economic stresses, among other events. However, it is the entry of Saturn into tropical Virgo in early September, and its conjunction to the Dragon's Tail in October 2007 that is cause for concern.
The lunar nodes often presage the future, and when planets cross these nodes, particularly at conjunction, there is a need to pay attention to the sign, in Saturn's case, that of Virgo - where Saturn will start a long transit (Sept. 2007 - July 2010) and in the process will oppose Uranus in Pisces (2008-2010) while Jupiter heads to conjunction with Uranus, and it's own opposition to Saturn (2010-2011).
The Jupiter/Uranus conjunction and opposition to Saturn is quite powerful at the end of the decade of the 2000s, and presages that at least six-to-seven years of the decade of the 2010s will be difficult at best. Uranus will enter Aries in the early 2010s, and produce a long-running, and malefic square to Pluto in tropical Capricorn. Meanwhile, Saturn will transit through the signs Libra, Scorpio and Sagittarius - a difficult 7.5-year transit cycle at best.
This presage means using the time between 2006-2010 to prepare in advance for the major and extended economic downturn and global problems of the 2010s.
The transits of the Lunar Nodes through Pisces/Virgo reveals the ability for many people aware of this transit and to be creative in their planning for the next decade. Avoiding excessive waste, saving monies, and overall preparation to improve matters using the North Node's transit through Pisces is very helpful. Meanwhile, the South Lunar Node's transit through Virgo highlights the need to take care of the details (Mercury) by checking documents, situations, etc., carefully, several times, to avoid the crystalizing effect of Saturn when it begins to transit tropical Virgo between September 2007 through July 2010.
Expect rising prices worldwide, as markets continue financial corrections. Energy prices remain high, but are forecasted to drop, with sometimes wild swings in prices due to world events during the transit of the Dragon's Head & Tail along the Pisces/Virgo axis. Housing prices stagnate, and begin a long drop that opens a buyers market beginning in 2007.
Interest rates, and mortgage rates will continue to climb during this mutable lunar nodal transit. Bond markets are negative. Careful consideration of future economics over the longer time is wise to begin during this nodal transit in Pisces/Virgo. Expect prices to rise, while real earnings/wages, fall. This is a time to improve one's economic positions by searching for the new, and the steady - and using this nodal transit towards reaching positive and life-changing goals.
The transit of Uranus in Pisces ahead of the North Lunar Node, and the position of Pallas in Pisces in 2007 there gives many people the ability ward off the problems of the 2010s (economic for the most part) while giving time during the 18.6 month transit of the Lunar Nodes in Pisces/Virgo to make the changes required to bolster one's personal/professional positions by the end of the year 2010.
Times are changing, can you feel it?

Great info, Theo. Thanks!
I'm looking forward to this exciting time although I don't know much about influence of nodes transitting natal planets. I have 17 Pisces Sun (10th house) and 18 Virgo moon (4th house) with 7 Pisces midheaven so just the
Uranus transit has already been interesting with an opportunity to do the work I've always wanted in an environment I've dreamed of. Pluto is nearing my Dsc however (27 Sag) and relating has intensified! Natal north node is 2 Capricorn. I will add that my new life was made possible by the Sat/Pluto transitting squaring my natal, angular full moon -- which cleaned me out in every way! As Theo says, I except an economic downturn and am planning on paying off my house next year and investing in a rental - this after a lifetime of no financial planning and hand in mouth living! I hope my plans realize. Read Ray Merrimon's site for financial predictions.

Not sure what to expect... My natal south node is in Pisces... and this is opposite of that. 8 Pisces Sun, 6 Pisces s. node... so I have some time to prepare. :)
Well this must be the transit that brought me to the board today to figure out the huge shift of energy I've felt today.
Since my natal Jupiter sits in the middle of a boomerang and kite at 29:54 Virgo, I can see why I feel like I'm riding in a submarine.
Of course the Sun squaring all of this doesn't help so I guess I will submerge and look for mermaids..............

Hi Kite,
Well, a natal Jupiter position there, at that degree of Virgo, with the crossing of the South Lunar node will have its impact, but remember to look at your own natal transits as a "whole" - and know that no matter how difficult a particular aspect may be - the kite, for instance - that you always have options, alternatives. They are there. Look for them in your own transits.
Also, try not to forget about your secondary progressions, as they often will reveal the true situations, and offer "outs" which really just are other transits, that perhaps, you have not used, or applied in some time. These kind of positive transits/aspects - depending on the players, can certainly be of positive use to correct situations that may stress (and those of the world, the people around us, society, etc.)
Often, these nodal crossings highlight the near-to-medium term future (and longer in mundane cycle charts) so, there's time to look at, say, what your natal Jupiter is trying to show you. For instance, note the position of transiting Mars, now in tropical Leo, but in Virgo by August, and in early September. Mars will cross the transiting lunar south node by the very end of August 2006 and into September.
That is a malefic transit, strong from September 1 to about September 14, overall. Look to avoid it, generally, by simply sidestepping negative social, personal situations that could rise to the level of violence (meaning generally in the world) and cooling out, setting positive, forward-looking goals, while making sure to stay away from people who lean toward the negative in life. That Mars/S. Lunar Node conjunction is bad news transit wise. Situations are building just now... through summer in the northern hemisphere, and in the southern hemisphere as well. This summer ends badly, is short, with winter arriving earlier than normal.
Moreover, transiting Venus, now in "morning star cycle" (rising ahead of the Sun) will enter "evening star" phase, in Scorpio, by 31 October 2006 and will remain declining after the Sun until late August 2007.
Right now, use the remainder of what is left from Venus' current morning star phase from June to October. It is an excellent time to work, be goal-oriented, be creative, to build anew, strenghthen positive friendships, relationships, and start new careers, etc.
Don't spend a lot time "looking back" per se, rather - look forward, and save the "review" of one's recent experiences over say, the last 2.5 years of one's life, but do this after transiting Venus turns towards evening cycle (30-31 Oct. 2006) which is the best time, to say, to reflect.
By doing so then, you will have much better perspective by then because you've allowed some time to pass - some distance from current events/situations that are still fresh now. This too will pass... Be wise, and look forward. Use your ephemeris to improve your life.
The work you do from now to October then arrives as the fruits of the work you've accomplished previously (June/October 2006) and is rewarded during Venus' evening star cycle (Nov. 2006 to August 2007) - which by that time the world will be deep into the current new ingress and transit of the Dragon's Head in Pisces and the Dragon's Tail in Virgo.
Cheers!
Not sure what to expect... My natal south node is in Pisces... and this is opposite of that. 8 Pisces Sun, 6 Pisces s. node... so I have some time to prepare. :)
You've got to keep smiling Lorielle! Often, the opposition nodal return to one's own natal/progressed nodes indicate a need to "upgrade" and to "renew" by applying strength of will and accentuating the positive. The transits can work for you (if one is versed in reading and knowing them in advance) or they can make the choices for us. Those who choose not to make a choice, in fact, have made one. I prefer free will with knowledge of the transits. That is best. A positive spirit, faith, love, and open eyes to the transits always make for an easier go of it. The world is not an easy place (never was) but it can also be what we make of it.

Theo, you seem incredibly knowledgable about this...what would a nodal return indicate?

Theo,
As well as what Arian asked...
I´m also intrigued because I have true nodal axis at 16º Cancer/Capricorn (and Mean nodal axis at 17º Cancer/capricorn),.. so therefore,...this tr nodal axis will be making gentle aspects to mine besides of the north node being conjunct my venus in pisces.
I´m feeling it could be a "reafirmation" that may help to develop my north node potential so as to balance the nodal axis...Please correct me if wrong?
Thanks,
Mary

Hi Mary,
Yes, depending on the position of one's nodal axis, the transit of the Lunar Nodes along the Pisces/Virgo will work through sextiles and trines to your own natal nodal axis which will be particularly active during Jan., Feb., Mar., and April 2007.
The conjunction of the Dragon's Head to your Venus/Pisces position is very helpful, nice, calaming, and allows you (depending on other aspects to this Venus position) expansive opportunities using good judgement (Jupiter) that are unusual/maverick (Uranus).
Moreover, in 2007, Pallas will conjoin transiting Uranus, the North Lunar Nodes, and your Venus, with a stellium conjunction. Planning and achieving goals, making calm & steady changes, and exercising your mind, and spirit. Working...
These transits often benefit those involved in the arts, cultural arts/sciences. For instance, if you are a composer or musician, the transits here in Pisces would be an excellent time to write/compose new music, add unusual/creative slants on your music (Uranus in Pisces) with the creative/career changing recognition, financial benefits, etc., arriving by the time transiting Jupiter/Uranus conjoin in Pisces in the years 2010-11
Nice aspects to have. Enjoy!
Whooowww!!!
First of all...That´s a superb amount of info!!!
Actually, I´m a musician and I was feeling more creative lately...wanting to do some compistion (not kidding!) I guess sth nice may come up! I hope!
Also,...I don´t know if it´s because pluto conjucnt neptune (afects my venus since it´s its ruler which also is squared by pluto) by the changing careers has been in my head for a while. Not a very big change though...I just wanted to get started with Music Education, while I´m studying to be a Guitar Instructor/performer but.... I love both !! So actually I´m not quite sure what I´m going to do in that area.
I hope this transition will help me!
Thanks so much

That's good news Mary. For those who are aware of the recent change of quality of the global Lunar Nodes, then, it is a time of good awakenings, and opportunities, especially for the next 18.6-months, will be varied, exciting, and diverse. Those who are positive, knowledgable, and driven will do best with these transits. Enjoy working, and find joy in all mundane work, as this is the best course toward success and happiness.

NN returns can indicate a new phase of life, a new cycle, or a re working of the planetary energy involved for the purpose of soul evolution.

Hi Lorielle,
The Lunar Nodes, transiting, take about 18-19 months (1.6 years) on average. For longer-term forecasting, as the classic astrologers and ancient cultures used them, we have a total 18 years, and 11 days. The lunar nodes, along with the contacts between Sun and Moon are a part of the "Saros Cycles" - an eclipse cycle.
The lunar nodes take about 18 months to complete one single transit through a sign. In this case, the Dragon's Head/Tail will transit through the Pisces/Virgo axis from 22 June 2006 to mid-December 2007. The next time the Dragon's Head will transit Pisces after Dec. 2007 will be in the year 2025.

I am feeling queezy about this aspect coming up. I have 26 degree Pisces SN. Right at that time of exact transit in August, Saturn will be opposition my sun, conjuncting my natal uranus and vertex (8th house). Karmic time for sure, but am not getting good vibs about the saturn opposition and transits. Also at 26 degree I have natal Jupiter in Sagitarrius (in my 12th house) conjuncting transiting Pluto.... (all squaring the nodes)
I am deeply into eastern philosophy.....
Is there a silver lining that I can put into my thinking? I can't help but think it will be a fated time beyond my control? ..... tb

My interest is karmic and spiritual astrology.
I feel strongly that we are not meant to look at our natal chart and transits with fear. We are here to evolve spiritually and everything happens the way it should, for the purpose of soul growth.
Saturn is Lord of Karma, and his job is to point the way along our path of duty and to teach us about structure and form, duty and responsibility, and inner discipline. Saturn teaches us about inner strength, resilience. He teaches us how to bend without breaking. Saturn will teach us how to live in accord with our soul purpose and destiny. He is also ensures that we pay off any karmic debts form past lives, and we are to do so with courage and wisdom.
The more westernized version of karmic/spiritual astrology which I practice, (and this differs from the Vedics), is that we believe strongly in free will. Nothing is fated, nothing is certain. God gave us total free will. It is our choice to follow the soul purpose as outlined in our natal charts or not.
It is our choice to use the planetary energies in a constructive or destructive fashion. For example you can chose to use the Uranus-Saturn energy to be innovative, original, ambitious or determined. Or you can use it in a more chaotic destructive way.
All the energy sent to us is from the Divine, it is all silver linings. It is up to us to use it wisely and with courage.

Teddybull, there is no "fated time beyond" your control. Transits come and go, however, we all have control over them, as has been set by God from the beginning. Transits can and have been used by humans for good and for evil -and the choices we make for their uses determines our own destiny. This means that your own free will directs you. Rather than not having good vibrations about any particular personal transits as you noted about - use them to perform the appropriate duties (hopefully to move forward in a positive fashion) rather than waiting for something to happen. In effect, live your own life, or life (transits) will live it for you.

Thank you for your replies.... Have to control my thinking and channel into more positive ideas. I have had SO many changes in my life within the past year (starting with transiting neptune conjunct sun, re-birth and progression of a spiritual consciousness)....
Premonitions (most like highly developed imagination!) tell me something will happen that week in August.
At the week of the exact nodal conjunction transit and saturn transits, I will be at a meditation convocation in LA. What planning...... most likely 99.9% I know absolutely nothing will happen, now disappointing me lol!
So correct, Cassian, I shouldn't get down on Saturn..... I just have a Cap Asc conjuncting Saturn, along with Venus and Mars, all within 3 degrees. If it is one planet I have learned to work with, it's Saturn! Hunker down, roll up your sleeves and 'just do it'!....
Thank you, Blessings, Tb

The nodal return influence will be in effect several weeks before and after direct. And often times we do not realize the impact of events until later.
Just stay open to new possibilities at this time, and ways to rework the positive energy of your NN.

Well, you might want to postpone that trip to LA/California at that time. There are strong transits at the end of August, and into the first 10-15 days of September (earthquakes) - that's not a great time to be in California transit-wise.

Theo,
I'm actually going Aug 5-12th.
I looked up the aspects tho for the end of August. WOW! Transiting aspects, Mars sq pluto, sat opp neptune, venus conj sat. Not a very good time. Plus mars opposition nodal placements, squaring pluto.
Not a very good time, indeed....... I agree about earthquakes, hurricanes (I live off the coast of FL), or even terrorism. It really points to violence, devastation. Add the factor of the Pisces NN in there. Unreal.
I feel pretty safe with my dates even tho I have saturn, uranus, nodes and vertex all making conjunctions with each other. It's the weeks afterwards that I wonder about.
I get a feeling that this nodal changing of axises will not be an easy one. I get a sense of uneasiness. Alot of people I know are expressing themselves in unhappy relationships but not quite ready to move on, but just building tension. And I get the feeling that there is a false euphoria..... people are not really happy but finding every which way they can AND in high gear at this time. Ready, set, CRASH

Yes, those transits are tight in August, and more so into September. The position of the Dragon's Head in the third decan of Pisces, and the Dragon's Tail in the third decan of Virgo, with the aspects from Mars, esp. to the transiting Southern Lunar Node at the end of August and into September really calls for being careful at that time. World news will reflect that time cycle and with what is happening now globally - news doesn't look good, particularly coming off the recent Mars/Saturn conjunction.

The movements of the Dragon's Head & Tail, the Moon's nodes, through the zodiac, have wide implications for the world, for nations, cultures, groups, and individuals during their 18.6 month and 18.6 year cycles. Moreover, the halves of these cycles 9.3 - 9.6 - are important as well.
The Saros cycles are a branch of judicial astrology relating to prophecies, mundane forecasts, etc., which the ancient classical astrologers were expert. In our times, many astrologers don't have experience due to the over-simplication of astrology, or too much of a focus merely on psychological implications, rather than overall consideration of predictive events, global effects from the transits in general and the lunar nodes in particular.
The best way to learn is by looking at the total maps of transits, and to gain a wider perspective, rather than fixing a microscopic view on a large map, what should be done is first gaining a large perspective, and then applying astrological principles to whatever the astrologer, or student wants to look at - personal, mundane, etc.
This particular Lunar Nodal cycle, as I've stated, is predictive for the decade of the 2010s, for the most part. However, during the next 18.6 months to about mid-December 2007, many secrets of the world will be revealed, and lead to the coming of the lunar nodal transit into the Aquarius/Leo axis starting in mid-December 2007 to late August 2009.
It is important to remember that the lunar nodes in their transit through the Pisce/Virgo axis now will provide plenty of opportunities for those aware of this time to be able to prepare for the coming decade of the 2010s, while also allowing for new creative experiences and practical applications that can be of immense use in this preparation for the second decade of the 21st century.

Theo, thank you for your response. I agree that there is a global effect of the saros cycles (in my view, we are looking then at cosmic and collective karma).
However for the time being, I am more interested in the impact of the prenatal and transit saros cycle eclipse upon an individual. The theory is that we each receive a cosmic dusting from our prenatal eclipse,
which is significant, but there is little info about the specific nature of that influence for each saros cycle. Also I know that the beginning and end date of each saros cycle is very important, but I am not yet sure how or why.
(PS I agree with you that western astrology is too psychological, and I also think that eastern astrology is too fatalistic. I am somewhere in the middle. Borrowing the spirituality of the east, with the psych and free will of the west.)

Much depends on future transits. Remember that each transit of the past is a "moment in time" with many, many variations within each moment. Prenatal work is fine, however, in order to learn about the impacts, you'll have to use judicial astrological methods, since you've brought the Saros cycle into it.
Mars has just entered tropical Virgo... watch this transit closely as it makes its way toward conjunction with the Dragon's Tail at the end of August and early September.

I don't know if it is just me, but I just sense an urgency with these nodes. I have 26 natal pisces sn, just last week, people from my past are re-entering my life (including hidden enemies coming my way). My spine gets tense when there is tension. I feel it is the beginning of a life altering change that is on the verge of happening. And I haven't a clue what it will be. My life is pretty much status quo at the moment. Basically I'm a pretty optimistic, happy person.
Maybe the end of August will turn out to be mild. Let's hope. I am seeing people are frustrated lately. Relationships are intense and not stable for the most part. People seem to be on the brink of anger. Could it be something else that is happening? Maybe the upcoming Saturn opp Neptune? Pluto sq nodes? Mercury retro? Nep opp Sun? Pluto sq mars? mars opp uranus? Jupiter squaring nep and saturn? Is anyone else sensing a smoldering fire within their environment?
I can't wait till August is over along with parts of September..... In the back of my mind I can't help think this war is going to escalate into a mushroom. I am truly hoping our President will stay out of this mess. Any involvement will bring war right here.
Theo, what are you thinking about the upcoming times? Both from a personal and universal standpoint.

Hi Teddybull,
Well, trust your feelings, and insight. Pre-act by doing things consciously to avoid any negative events ahead. Mars has already entered tropical Virgo, and although it will contact the transiting South Lunar Node, it will make contact with your radical/natal North Lunar Node... This indicates that you may be able to see the situations among others in your life setting up right in front of your eyes and may be able to assist... but try to do so objectively and from a distance where others cannot project onto you and blame you for problems that are not yours. Rather, from a personal standpoint, prepare ahead of time for distancing yourself, and be aware of the details (Virgo) while not allowing your feelings (Pisces) to cloud your judgement when it comes to people, and events in the near future related to them.
Early August is a good time to distance yourself... try looking ahead towards mid-September/October, and get you head into the coming autumn and winter seasons by doing things for that time - effectively pre-acting and jumping over current events so as to not become involved in what is going to be an overall negative end to summer. Many people will not be happy with this summer, and by the end of August, and early September, events will be sad... and violent in some cases. Avoid this by pretending that summer is over in August, and get ahead of things by working for the time covering mid-September to January 2007.
From a universal standpoint: Watch the news... and be aware that for the most part, the summer in the northern hemisphere ends badly with the Mars transit over the Dragon's Tail at the end of August and into September. The malefic transit of Mars conjoined to the South Lunar Node is not a transit to play with, or to ignore.

Sun 21 deg. Pisces
Venus 14 deg. Pisces
Mercury 24 deg. pisces all in my 5th house.
Ruler of the 6th @ 27 deg Pisces.
I remember that Lunar eclipse on March 14th[my birthday is March 11th] in Virgo. Let's put it this way: it wasn't a good experience at all!!!! Teddy your post is right on point. There is something going on. I get the feeling we will all be transformed in someway. Eveyone seems to be in so much pain. Whether at work , with relationships. People who are lonely, and looking for love[like myself] I just don't remember things feeling this intense in my life.
Smoldering fire is the exact word I would use. I find myself drawn to symbols, studying astrology more than ever; meditating; having visions; psychic ability. I just want to go to Tibet and chant!

Mankind was meant to rule over the transits by knowledge of them, and proper application in the world, not the other way around. The problems throughout human history comes from ignorance, and the mis-application of "knowledge" towards negative ends. Human history is full of examples of this.
In the modern world, astrologers are not consulted, for the most part, by those making major decisions that affect the lives of millions. These "decisions" therefore, have consequences on their own souls, which the prophecies clearly state.
Using astrological knowledge for the benefit of humanity, and oneself, for positive purposes, to help, and to enlighten, is the correct course to take.

Actually, the last solar eclipse happened here in Egypt, to the very west of the country. Israel and Lebanon are to our East. Does it still count as the effect of the eclips?

Agree about looking at the positive aspects of transits. I have found that the first round of hard transits (outer planet squares, opp and sometimes conj) really affect me. They can even disorient me. As when I had neptune transit conj my sun. Exact week of aspect, my husband and I broke up (after 15 yrs), I had to desperately find a new home plus just gotten a promo on the job. My parents were also moving at the time. All within that month. BANG, 2x4 right on the forehead. For the first few days I could even hardly breathe.
The aftermath..... that's when you have to pick up and start rebuilding for the better.
I'm thinking these nodes suggest mass karma, such as in the Middle East. Beyond control on a personal level. Pisces is so hard to predict.
As always, when I was going thru my neptune transit, the foremost person who came in my life and healed parts of my soul was a Piscean. She is my secretary whom I tried to conceal my devastation. She was the only one who figured out what was going on. The rest of the group had not one iota of an idea. I told them after I moved, filed divorce and several months later......

My North Node sits at Virgo 22 trine a Taurus Venus 22 and a POF 22. My South Node is 22 Pisces. I am somewhat confused as to how that affects me as the nodes are reversed the virgo in the north. But i have been going through a period of detaching from many people which began when Mercury Retrograde and does not appear to be ceasing. I am coping with marriage struggles that arise from quietude and little communication. I find myself focusing very hard on trying to imagine what sort of future I truly want for myself. I have a friend whose Sun is Pisces 24/NN Pisces 24 and Virgo NN 24. Like me he has been experiencing relationship issues including with me--the solar eclipse in March hit his natal SUN! It is definitely a time of much challenge.

Angelina,
I am going thru the same nodal transit. Not sure of how it will affect me. I can't say it's karmic, because I believe all of life is karmic. Maybe look at the houses involved and see how that might be manifesting. I have mine on the 2nd and 8th house axis.
I do feel that possibly people will enter my life who will transform me who possibly were friends or foe from the past. Just last week, I had my ex-husband's friend, who was instrumental in breaking up our marriage, in the same meeting as me. It was a shock since I never really knew the guy (only a brief two minute hello from the past).
Regarding your marriage, I am hoping that it will survive. If you are not ready for a divorce you will know it and know that somewhere in your heart will be, "I'm not ready for a divorce". I think marriage is more of a balancing karma, resolving psychology than passionate love. I also feel that if you don't resolve whatever is going on in your marriage, it will come around again the next time. Blessings, tb
PS I read that we knew who our spouses would be before we entered this world. I FIRMLY believe this. Puts a different spin on marriage for me.

My experiences may be similar to others. I have NN in aries and SN in libra in my natal. at the present time with NS Conjunct Pluto (master of 8 house) but residing in virgo (7 House). I feel that some issues with the past in relation to my ex-partner are coming to an end. But NN in pisces remove myself to people. and the another side, people seems changing their attitudes towards me (long-term friends). than also I have past people that meet by surprise, those people that have interfered in my relationship with my ex husband (of 18 years). Those people that were hidden from me, caught them on the street!!!! (my foes)
I have a debt to pay, and I am doing it since last year, hoping that I will be able to evolve to my NN and enjoy a new path

Yes, it does. Construct a chart for that day, and then look to the eastern part of the skies on the new moon day (the eclipse day) set for sunrise, and for the time of the lunation, or the new moon. The positions, combinations of the planets in aspect, or at angles, will reveal the situation quite simply.

There is an idividual, that I love deeply, that has his N.node @15 deg Taurus in the 7th. He left for awhile, and I have a feeling he will be coming back in some kind of way. Transiting uranus will be hitting my Venus too. I'm trying to stay positive, and not think the worse! I am sorry to hear this PiscesKitty. Try to do the best that you are able with these transits, and remember that every problem is an opportunity in disguise. With transiting Uranus conjoined to your radical Venus though... you do have some options such as spending more time improving the pleasurable things in your life and focusing on yourself with these transit conditions. Are you able to be more practical for the time being, and focus on getting things stable while not becoming stuck in the things that you cannot change?
It is good to stay positive!
Have things improved since you wrote this by the way? What are your needs at this time?

Hi Theo:)
Thank you so much for your kind words! Things are looking up for me. The one thing I do notice is i'm having difficulty focusing. Sometimes I feel as though I'm caught between two worlds! I wish I could find some kind of creative outlet. I spend most of my time being extremely confused.
At this point I would love to have a partner to spend some time with.I feel very isolated sometimes. I just miss being in a loving realtionship. Partnerships are very important to me[libra Asc.!] I'm just taking it one day at a time. As far as creativity, I have all of these ideas..yet I feel blocked at the same time! I'm nervous about that upcoming eclipse. I do believe something will be revealed to me at that time. I just don't know what. I do believe I will have to be there for people around this time. Especially that "friend" I mentioned.
I'm anxiouse almost all of the time lately, like a tiger in a cage pacing. I also feel bored with my job situation. I feel trapped and just want to break free!

I see... Well, try do your best to chill, ok? Rather, sit in the driver's seat of your own destiny and get on a good road. That's best. Remember that the energies of any transits, including eclipses, can be used to make positive changes, and remind us of God's glory as the celestial transits make aspects.
Being "bored" is not good, because more mistakes can be made from impulse, and you'll want to take your time, and pace yourself. Remember to eat better, and take your vitamins and minerals with your food ~ this will help to balance out the anxiousness. You'd be surprise how the transits work on people who are vitamin & mineral deficient.
Hey ~ are you eating your daily veggies?

Kitty,
Wow! I'm not supprised to see the Uranus transit affecting you so harshly. t.uranus is conjuncting your venus, which is your chart ruler since you have libra rising.. hence, it is increasing your overall vibratory rate, to the point of confusion.
To make the effect even stronger, unless i've got your chart wrong, you've got uranus conjunct your ascendant in your 1st house, meaning Uranus is a very strong planet in your chart, and you are highly sensitve to it!
The problem with too much of a whammy from Uranus is the possibility of serious nerve tension, sometimes to the point of major neurological stress.
First off, now would be a great time to pick up a book on the Kundalini. This spiritual energy, ruled by uranus, is what your pulsating with. Get in touch with your inner energies and start pondering ways to harness them. Your probably lit up like a mercury-doused christmas tree that fell on the main high tension line leading to NYC. Lots of energy, and it sounds like your having a hard time focusing it.
Understandable! With all the potential tension and so much energy behind it, it's too much to focus. Maybe a few different avenues would be better than one, because this energy probably makes you hyperactive and reduces your concentration... that is, unless you can harness it, then you might become hyper-focused.
Grounding is important, very important. Consider what helps you ground yourself, be it walks in nature, meditation, music, a hard workout.. whatever works for you... and dont deny yourself a fair share of it!
Important Uranus transits can bring major changes and big-time shocking self-discovery.. whatever you do, don't block the experience... take advantage of the increased light Uranus's lightning illumination can provide, and let the energy flow in, through and out of yourself.

Hi Unukalhai!
You described me to a tee! I cannot believe how accurate you are! Yes, I have Uranus conjunct my Libra Asc. I also have Uranus square Mars[3H], and Uranus trine my Gemini Moon in the 9H. I'm all over the place. I had an anxiety attack on the train today. My heart was racing. This guy helped me sit down on the steps, so I could calm myself.
I feel like i'm running on my own energy! I have to make sure I eat properly, and get enough rest. I really can't concentrate on anything! I will definitely purchase some literature on kundalini. Can you suggest anything Unu?
Thinking about the upcoming eclipse in September, has me even more anxious. Plus i'm confused about my career path. I've been thinking of taking some classes on phlebotomy/EKG. I have this fascination with drawing blood. I also love gadgets/electronic devices. I do believe this is something I could probably stick to.[god help me! LOL]
I write in my journal. This is really soothing for me. I've been having vivid/wild dreams, visions..all kinds of weird things. I feel like I can read people's minds sometimes too. God only knows what i'm going through. i've never experienced anything like this before.

I have north node in Pisces (8 degrees) on the cusp of the first and second house, so the transiting nodes will be visiting me personally as well, relating issues of self/other(1st/7th house) and holding on/letting go (2nd/8th house). I also have Moon and Pluto conjunct in Virgo (25 degrees) so south node will be passing over personal and power points in my chart. To top it off Transiting Pluto (24 degrees Sagittarius) has passed through his long retrograde cycle in square to my natal Moon and Pluto. I've been feeling some direct hits in all this here lately and growing has meant letting go, which i have been greatly inspired to do.
The Pisces/Virgo axis is like allowing transformation versus expressing perfection. And transiting Uranus is on it's haul through Pisces (transformation through the unexpected) in mutual reception with Neptune now transiting Aquarius (unveiling of humanity). The mysteries are becoming known to us during this time. And with the nodes transiting the pisces/virgo axis, we are being asked to transform who we are as a species and awaken our souls to the unity of all who is. This simply starts within our heart. I believe in perfection and i think it is found within us all. Chaos becomes cosmos after all and our species is alive on a planet with it's own atmosphere which travels around the Sun, a G-2 star and one of billions of stars as far as we can see out into creation. This is our divine proof. We are one.
The Age of Aquarius is upon us in considering the Procession of the Equinoxes and this coming time is a culmation point in the 26,000 year cycle as predicted in early Eastern Astrology and later, the Mayan Calendar. This is an actual measurement of time based upon the viewable fixed sky which surrounds planet Earth as it moves through space. The zodiac is actually moving. The North star that we see is not the same as the North star people in Egypt observed in 3000AD. The whole picture is continuously shifting.
"Harmony and understanding...this is the dawning of the Age of Aquarius."(song from Jesus Christ, Superstar)
Well, now in the time that transiting Mars is conjoined to the South Lunar Node going into early September. For the most part, this transits signals a bad end to summer transit-wise as the Mars/S. Lunar Node conjunction is malefic in nature, and along with the Saturn-Neptune opposition it is wise to remain low key and to prepare for the coming equinox later in September.
Stay safe out there everyone!

Why? The nodal returns at opposite polarities are common for everyone every nine or so years.

Good advice... Try to see the transits as a whole, and remember that transits can be used (and abused) depending on the person's character, knowledge, and practical training. Experience counts for much. The transits now, in this lunar nodal cycle of Pisces/Virgo can be used very well by those who are looking ahead, into the 2010s, and who are able to manage quite well under the current transits... those of Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune, and the strong aspects at this time in world history.
Cultivating cheerfulness, stamina, and mental/emotional strength helps with the current Saturn cycle from rise to culmination (Aug.-mid-Nov. 2006).

I think she's worried because the 5th rules children, and the 6th rules health.
I don't think there's any need to be concerned with the nodal reversal he will experience, it's a normal part of life.
It will not occur until November 2007. Looking at a quick transit chart for that time shows alot of activity from Pluto and to Uranus, as well as a nice tight Saturn sextile Mercury (building of the mind) -- The big "whammy" is T.pluto opposing n.Sun, and is very tight (2 arcmin) during the nodal reversal. the influences from Uranus/Pluto show alot of self development and soul building, certainly congruent with the year of a nodal reversal.
What you should be more aware of is that 2007 is the year of his first Chiron square. I will find you some useful information on that lifecycle when I am at home, and have access to some reference material, and drop you a PM to avoid too much clutter here.

Hey PiscesKitty,
There must be something in the air. A little bit ago I clicked on the chart generator and then did a Sabian Symbol interpretation for it. The Sabian symbol was: "An Indian woman pleading to the chief for the lives of her children." 29* Scorpio
Also, Futurist just put up a post in which (among other things), he pointed out the significance of Ceres and Xena - and mothering/children issues.
Maybe you're just really sensitive to the energies going on right now.
With the lunar nodes now in the 24-degree range as of November 2006, we are entering a time of preparation for the decade of the 2010s, which should be prepared for by all who are aware of the transits. The current global transits have Saturn rising, in square aspect to Jupiter, and Saturn opposed to Neptune.
The new ingress of Jupiter into tropical Sagittarius at the end of November relates to a new expression of impulsiveness worldwide for 2007, and as Jupiter transits Sagittarius, we will see the giant planet square the Lunar Nodes by February 2007, along with squaring Uranus in Pisces, which conjoins the Dragon's Head in March/April 2007.
This calls for preparation for learning to navigate barriers to communication of emotions, and feelings in private and public situations. The transit of Jupiter in square to Uranus during 2007 indicates a need to balance the need for new expressions, actions, with the unusual, and innovative while maintaining a balance that does not favor one over the other.
Jupiter's square to the Lunar Nodes during 2007 indicates a need, especially for astrologers, to mind their interpretations of transits during 2007, and to prepare for the years 2008-2011, which are important years to prepare for the decade and the vast changes of the 2010s.
Saturn's transit through tropical Leo, and its opposition to Neptune through to August 2007 indicates a need for clarity, and to see through the fogs of deception in matters related to finances, which, if abused during 2006-2007 will lead to long-standing debt in the 2010s. Saturn's ingress into tropical Virgo, and its long transit there Sept. 2007 to July 2010 calls notice to also prepare for the new decade of the 2010s, which lead to a Jupiter-Saturn opposition, and prior to this, a Saturn-Uranus opposition along the Pisces/Virgo axis, where the lunar nodes are transiting at this time.
Using the transits of the lunar nodes on the Pisces/Virgo axis to positively prepare for the end of this decade, and the start of the next will result in having properly prepared for the recession of most of the 2010s worldwide.
Saving at least three-fourths of earnings in the years 2006,2007,2008,2009 & 2010 will provide people with enough resources to protect against the coming deep recession beginning late in the year 2010, and progressing into 2011-2012 before deepening further after the last Jupiter-Saturn opposition in the signs Aries/Libra in March/April 2011.
Thank you all for the valuable information. I've been really anxious and stressed lately. Like i'm on caffeine! Plus, I have alot of Pisces planets in my fifth. Also try to remember that the world transits, and those in the region you are in New York have an effect as well. Remember that often the Gemini-Sagittarius axis squares Pisces (feeling versus proper communication and handling of information/feelings, etc.) and that the way out is to apply more Earth sign related positions to balance off the effects of the squares/oppositions to sensitive positions such as the Moon.
The position of transiting Uranus is also strong in Pisces, so, expect to apply off-beat and unusual things to tackle whatever stress may be there. It can be done by making sure you cultivate positive thoughts, and actions in your daily life.

I´m also intrigued because I have North/south node at 20º Pisces/Virgo so therefore north node being conjunct my Jupiter in pisces.will this create a change in my circumstances, change of place? Last time this happened-I traveled to an unknown town where I have my home today...Please correct me if wrong?

The transiting Lunar nodes have just passed the 20-degree mark, so, you may want to take this time to review some of the experiences, issues, etc., that have already taken place, and create change toward areas that have been lacking for the past 8-9 years. The conjunction with your Jupiter is positive, and calls for preparation for the coming decade of the 2010s, which is economically rough for much of the world. I would begin making and saving as much coin as possible for the 2010s.

theo you think I could marry? That would give me long needed support!! I am sick of being alone. And financially its crippling because one long illness and i am wiped out? Could this be a change that I am going towards?

It would be wiser to first take care of your own needs, rather than looking for another to do that via marriage. Think about your own goals, what you want, and then work with your transits to accomplish them.
At this time, transiting Jupiter is square to the lunar nodes and second series of solar and lunar eclipses in Pisces/Virgo will take place in March. These world transits show a need to transmute one's desire for goals into plans, while maintaining a healthy balance between communication and impulse, as the square from transiting Jupiter in Sagittarius compels towards action/communication with the waning square to Uranus and the lunar north node compels towards emotional impulse.
The Jupiter square Uranus and square to the lunar nodes is a challenge, and a warning about the future. The current crisis in the financial markets clearly reflects these world transits, and again, speaks to the power of the transits of the Dragon's Head & Tail.
So, how are things going at this time?
