I would read it pretty much the same way... with Mars sextiling Saturn and trining Saturn. I would read Saturn being in your 6th may mean that you will come into contact with him through your work somehow. Mars in Cancer in the 4th can denote a patriotic attitude,and connection the the homeland.

Of course, this chart clearly spells out what you said:

I do so much work in helping promote this place in a positive way, Moon in Taurus in his turned 5th, can say that you would like his gratitude, for him to "shine his face upon you", so to speak - that he recognize you in some way. I'm not sure if the chart is saying that you will get such a token, or whether this is just your wish.
