Hi everyone. My boyfriend and I started fostering dogs that get rescued from the pound about a month ago. One dog we had for 3 weeks, and she really fit well with us... we considered adopting her ourselves, but someone found her online and wanted to adopt her. So on Oct 3rd we took her over to their place and they adopted her. We thought that they would be good owners, but they let her go in the yard unsupervised that night and she escaped around 1 am. They didn't call us until 4 pm the next day. Anyways, I'm not sure if all of this is relevant. I'm just soooo upset about this. We've been looking around the neighbourhood and posting lots of fliers. We got one sighting at 11:40 am on Oct 4th. The live 10 miles east of us, within a busy part of the city. There are a lot of alleys and washes/dry river beds around to hide in.
My question was "will we find our foster dog?", but now I of course would also like to try to figure out where she is and HOW to find her. I'm not great with horary, but I've tried looking at the chart. The moon is void of course and I think I read that that means she could be found, but I don't know. Her sig is Jupter, rx in the 8th house. The 8th house part really really worries me. Does it help at all that her sig is a benefic? I've also read that the fact that she's retrograde means she will come back, but what is she doing in the 8th house??? From what I see, Jupiter goes direct on Oct 12th, which would be a pretty long time from now for her to reappear. Cancer is on the Asc, so my sig is the Moon, which I read is also the natural ruler of missing things. Not sure if that goes for pets too. I'm in the 10th house and Aries. Maybe that's me trying to get our fliers seen and posting our phone number all over the area. The Moon and Jupiter are separating from a sextile, which I don't take as a good sign.
Does the NN and fortunae in the 7th have much significance? I guess it's probably not good that Mars and the SN are in the 1st. Actually it looks like Fortunae is only in the 7th with the day formula, which is what Janus seems to use. With the night formula it's in the 6th, which would probably be good.
I'm not sure what would signify the new "owners", but they are not taking responsibility or helping to find her at all. In terms of directions, it looks like the West is emphasized, but so are the North and South to a lesser degree. I'm not even sure how much meaning all the intricacies of the chart would be given with the void of course moon there?
Saturn is transiting my 6th house, and this seems to be a horrible pet time for me. We lost our cat unexpectedly to an illness just a few months ago.
I appreciate any help in interpreting the chart. We are really worried about her and are spending all of our time trying to find her. I'm just not always feeling so hopeful. We've said the only good thing that could come from this is that the adopters will not keep her if she's found, and we will probably adopt her.
