my current progressions - any hope for a relationship?

I've been having (and soon going to have) some interesting progressions and solar arc aspects recently. Firstly, progressed Mars conjunct natal Venus, then solar arc Jupiter conjunct natal Sun, and also solar arc Ascendant changing signs (moving into Leo) - I've heard this is quite important. Am I right to assume this should be a special year for me or am I just a wishful thinker? Is this a promise I should rely on? For years I've been dreaming of experiencing real love and a real trusting relationship - which I've never experienced so far. I know my natal chart is difficult as far as partnership issues are concerned - Sun square Moon/Pluto as well as Venus and Mars hidden and lost in 12th house and Mars afflicted by Saturn aren't particularly helpful. No transits have worked so far. Any hope in progressions or is my natal chart so hopeless? I think Jupiter will rather emphasize matters related to intellect and communication as well as home and family (Sun ruling 3rd and 4th), but what about Mars/Venus? I know my current transits - squares to my natal Venus and Pluto opposite Ascendant - make things difficult. And if not now, can you see any future partnership possibilities in my chart?

You have calculated your chart using the default on astro.com of placidus and I use Equal House system and am a modern astrologer. Lots of people that come into Astrology get their free charts calculated at www.astro.com (http://www.astro.com/) and the default ‘house system’ used is Placidus and think that’s just the norm and all that there is……..BUT that is just the tip of the iceberg. You can change the default on astro.com in Extended Chart selection to Equal house and a few more.

Throughout the forums but mainly in natal astrology there are two main branches Placidus (unequal size houses) v Equal House (whereby each house is same size) but lots more……. For more information on these go here.

It's only with study and research will you be able to assess where your planets are deposited and in which houses... thus see which 'glove fits'

So, mercury, jupiter will be 2nd and Saturn 3rd and Moon/pluto 4th and Uranus 5th

Did anything happen when progressed moon in scorpio conj natal uranus in 5th house of love affairs and romance approx 5months ago??

Have you noticed SA jupiter conj natal node in 3rd? This should bring karmic people helping you reach for your Lessons -- in your immediate neighbourhood. Jupiter is also just coming off natal saturn --how did that influence you??

Prog/SA sun next year will be 1' approaching conj with natal Jupiter. This should be results in self‑reliance, optimism and success. An air of confidence usually has a stimulating effect on others, jovial, and loads more optimism...

Prog mars conj venus in 12th suggests a poss relationship that's hidden or secret perhaps
What happened last year when T Neptune conj your MC? did a relationship or job end?

As for the progressed Moon conj natal Uranus, nothing happened in the sphere of love - actually, nothing has happened for the last two years (the last experience of this kind - transiting Pluto opposite Venus, hidden feelings I couldn't even show to the person I was interested in, because he was already in a relationship).

When Neptune was conjunct my MC, I took up an additional job which allowed me to be more creative.

As for Jupiter coming off natal Saturn and conjunct North Node, it worked rather in 4th house matters. My father died (when Saturn was transiting my IC) and I received an inheritance (a house) for which I had to pay a huge tax (Saturn rules 8th in the Placidus system).

Saturn ruling 8th would delay, restrict and deny inheritance, so much so that it would become a huge burden around your kneck...:unsure:

Saturn at 21'Leo was prob over 2years ago, SA Jupiter is current on N Node now...

But Saturn in my case does delay and block my actions - I can't do anything with this inheritance, it's an old decrepit house which I can neither sell nor live in it (would need a general renovation which I can't afford). This happened 3 years ago when SA Jupiter was near my Saturn. It's more of a burden than a blessing.

As for friendships - maybe not falling out, but more arguments. One of my friends seemed very irritated lately and difficult to talk to, but things are getting better now. Rows with mum - sometimes, but not very serious ones.

I see the Progressed Mars conjunct natal Venus at 25' Gemini as significant. There is a New Moon at 25' Sagittarius on Dec. 16, 2009. It should be interesting to watch this time and transits to this degree as to changes involving this conjunction. I would guess that there is going to be some kind opportunity to balance out the Gemini/12th house issues with Sag/6th house issues.

Solar Arc Jupiter, however, is not conjuncting your natal Sun. SA Jupiter is making a sextile with your Saturn/NN conjunction at 10'Virgo in the 4th.
Progressed Sun is sneaking up on your natal Jupiter in Leo, though.:bandit:
There is a 2 degree orb, so maybe within next 2 years or so, something of that nature will unfold.

Your natal Mercury in Leo has gone forward, then gone retrograde, and is now retrograde at the exact degree of your natal Mercury - 6' Leo in the 3rd house. I see this as a very significant time to work on 3rd house Mercury in Leo issues. It may be a time to work on creative expression. It can also show a time to work on anger and/or "bossiness" issues. anyways,when i met the love of my life,i had,prog sun conjunct natal venus & prog venus.
ruler of the 7th conj venus.
Solar return north node conj natal asc
SR sun conj SR 7H ruler in the 3rd house in sag(dats' how i met him: abroad in my neigbourhood).

my bf had SR southnode conjunct natal venus(conj my natal desc).
SR sun conj SR 7H ruler in 12th(its' hidden from our families & must be karmic)
SR venus & 7H ruler conj prog sun.
prog venus conj his natal chiron & my natal vertex.
transiting venus & mars were conjunct our southnodes on our 1st meeting.
