I find it incredibly bizarre, yet somehow meaningful, that tonight I have encountered two direct references to unrelated historical subjects I am currently studying--the Tobacco Conspiracy of the nineties and the Holocaust--while aimlessly exploring astrology sites:
Reminiscence: The Evolution Thing (http://www.worldservicegroup.com/archives/tc-aries-2006.html)
The system will be an army, a priesthood, a dogma that will be used to maintain the personal power of an exclusive group at the expense of unfolding the inner jewel in the form. Such was the group of "scientists" that were marshaled to prove that smoking was not a health hazard, and such is the group of "Spin Doctors", scientists and politicians that has been marshaled by the forces of greed to deny that global warming is a direct result of human environmental mismanagement and its resulting pollution of the atmosphere.
Does Pluto Rule Scorpio or Aries? (http://www.accessnewage.com/ARTICLES/astro/benplu.htm)
Regarding war and Aries, Carl Tobey points out, "Pluto was square the Lunar Nodes and the natal Sun of Hitler in September 1930 when he opened W.W.II, but it was also in opposition to the natal Sun of FDR, which was squared by the Lunar Nodes. Hitler had built the greatest army and the greatest air force, but Roosevelt simply built bigger ones. Lenin, the real father of Communism had the Sun in Aries. Pluto in Taurus ruled his sun-sign. The modern dictator who appears to have made his appearance as Pluto crossed the ecliptic. Nazism was Hitler's child. Fascism was the child of Mussolini. The whole conception of regimentation is Plutonian. The masses are treated as children. The Nazi regime was supposed to be guided by one man's intuition. The mass murders in Germany and Poland by the Nazis and the Communists are Plutonian murders. In a way, this may be said of all public executions, although by now they may have become merely a matter of habit or law." (Footnote 6)
What, do you suppose, is the Universe trying to tell me? Or am I simply looking too much into this?

Its probably something your mind willed it to being ;)
I also thought about Mars/Pluto and Aries/Scorpio before.. I remembered coming across a site where they explained logically the pattern of the outer planets in correlation to the zodiac signs... like so:
Earth - Taurus/Gemini?
(they say Gemini is the perfect epitome of human traits, and also mother earth for Taurus)
Moon - Cancer
Sun - Leo
Mercury - Virgo
Venus - Libra
Mars - Scorpio
Jupiter - Sagittarius
Saturn - Capricorn
Uranus - Aquarius
Neptune - Pisces
Pluto - .....Aries?
I leave out Taurus..
It seemed to me quite a perfect match, but then again who knows! A lot of new information are bubbling up so we might just have to wait til that time comes when all the planets and signs found their match.. ;)

Has anyone ever experience coincidences with Radu's Sabian Symbols' Oracle (http://astrologyweekly.com/sabian-symbols/index.php)?
For example, I asked a series of questions on the thread The Sabian Symbols' Oracle - Questions and Answers (http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?p=13695#post13695) and received two degrees of my natal planets--one of my natal Sun and Mercury (15 to 16 degrees Aries) and another of my natal Jupiter (5 Gemini).

Coincedences. I don't know if there is such a thing. I think that there probably are some, but I am also of the belief that everything happens for a reason.
I just end a relationship with someone that I am missing terribly... he is from Missouri. (I am from Iowa.) I walk out into the parking lot where I work, there sits a truck with Missouri plates on it. I turn on the tv and tonight have seen 2 commercials for vacationing in Missouri. I log on to play my computer game and 2 friends of his (and mine) ask me when I'm coming to Missouri to go to IHOP with them. (The 2 of them... and they know about the break up.) Not to mention the numerous times I see his name... Make it stop! LOL
I don't know if it's the universe's way of torturing me, if someone up there is trying to tell me something, if I'm just sensitive to this stuff at the moment, or if it's just my imagination.
Sounds like Jim Carrey in "Bruce Almighty".
I think you attract in your life these coincidences, due to your soul (=imaginative mind) being so full of these symbols (=names, places).

Coincidences after breaking up a relashionship reminding us the ex partner are very painfully. Somehow they make us believe that she was the woman of our life :P

Arian!
Last night I was listening to one of those AM radio stations and up comes this topic they were talking about:
Synchronicity.
Immediately, I thought "This is what Arian experienced ... Lol, how synchronic it is to have actually stumbled upon the phenomena of synchronicity. Mental note: Must tell her tomorrow, do not forget. "
Coincidence? I think not! lol
Humans are becoming more and more open and susceptible to the channels of the outer world(time-space continuum and the multiverse).. I guess this is what's happening for you. :)

Agreed. Coincidences and synchronicities and deja vu are all indicating (now) how much more humanity is actually functioning from a state of higher awareness/consciousness. In these states we have a much more collective/group sense yet with each still being an individual. Very Aquarian/Leo. We're learning how to multi-task from a consciousness standpoint!;)
Hehe I listened to a Rotary scholar give a talk on music and synchronisity last night...

Yeah, or the man, even. :)
Today, I was either picking up something with my psychic hunches or something is going on.
I was sitting at my desk listening to the radio... and thinking about what's-his-name. I said to myself... "I need a sign... if I hear a Sheryl Crow song in the next couple of songs, that will be my sign. And I don't want a new song by her, make it an oldie." You guessed it... "I wanna soak up the sun..." is playing on the radio. So, thinking it was a coincedence, I thought to myself, ok... "Now let's hear something by Elton John." Yeah right away, I'm hearing an Elton John tune on the radio. Still not convinced, I tell myself, "Ok if on the way home I see a Missouri license plate... that's it!"
Yeah... on the way home, there it was.
Driving myself bonkers in Iowa,
Lori
hehe so what do these signs mean? Are you supposed to do something now?

Thanks for thinking of me, SS! :D
Here's another synchronicity I experienced today while conducting a Google search for Pluto in Scorpio (http://www.astrologyweekly.com/learn-astrology/pluto-in-scorpio.php):

This is...freaky!
Nearly ten minutes ago, I asked the Sabian Symbols' Oracle (http://astrologyweekly.com/sabian-symbols/index.php) "Do I really have a Pisces Ascendant?" and received the following answer:
The union jack flies from a new british warship.
18º Capricorn
288__(18°)
THE UNION JACK FLAG FLIES FROM A NEW BRITISH DESTROYER Extreme of objectification of inner resources. Challenge to life. Splendid self-realization. Full awareness of competition.
___*When positive, the degree is the self's ever-widening spread of interest in its insatiable desire to leave some permanent imprint of itself on everything it touches, and when negative, smug or strong-armed paternalism.
Now, this symbol did not mean much to me at the time, yet I decided to conduct a Google search for an alternative sabian interpretation site and stumbled upon THE INTERPRETATION OF A HOROSCOPE (http://www.sabian.org/15points.htm) by Marc Edmund Jones. The first symbol analyzed in his article is that of Teddy Roosevelt's natal Mars:
[quote]No. 1. I begin with the planet Mars because it is the planet that has most to do with simple activity. Mars is the planet that is closest to the earth outside of the earth. It represents the place in life where you throw off energy, fly off the handle and move the hardest to get things done. Because Mars is in the first house here in Teddy Roosevelt's chart, therefore it calls for unusual energy, which certainly describes the native. Now let's get a technique down for this proposition of reading from the planets. Look at each planet by sign, by house and then, in order to have a little color for the interpretation, by the symbolical degree.
I am certain this is no coicidence, yet the Sabian Oracle had previously led me to believe I was Pisces Rising...

Hi there
You seem to disbelieve the previous answers offered by the Oracle...
However, the Oracle doesn't mind answering the same question over and over again. Each time the answer is slightly different. Yet the same.
This time I think it said that you need "extreme objectification" of the previous answers on the correct ASC. Or maybe the answer just reflect your quest for it...
I suggest you take a coin, decide which side represents each possible ASC and then toss it. Hum, but this is not "extreme objectification" either.... I give up.

I apologize for bothering you so much...perhaps my difficulties stem from my previous disillusionment as Aquarian Maverick :(
Arian Maverick
Come on, it felt good being an Aquarian Maverick, admit it. You acted as one as well :p
For now, you're a true Arian Maverick.
You know that a late Pisces ASC (28-29) already implies a solid share of Aries ASC influence. This seems to happen to all who have a late ASC. My explanation is that the progressed ASC passes very early in life into the next sign, and the person lives the childhood and first part of the life having a progressed ASC in another sign, which marks the forming the personality.
Besides, what difference does it make in your life just the knowing of the exact ASC degree? So many people out there know their birthtime within a much wider time range (an hour or several). Knowing the birthtime with an accuracy of 15 minutes is already enough to allow an accurate chart reading.
The only idea I can come up with now is to wait a couple of years, until major events will take place, allowing you to pinpoint exactly the position of your ASC, by the means of rectification.
The whole thing reminds me of Arian's bedtime prayer: "Dear God! Give me PATIENCE and I want it NOW!" :)

Since this word does not exist in my personal dictionary, I have decided to look it up for future reference! :D
Patience- The capacity, quality, or fact of being patient.
Synonyms: patience, long-suffering, resignation, forbearance
These nouns denote the capacity to endure hardship, difficulty, or inconvenience without complaint. Patience emphasizes calmness, self-control, and the willingness or ability to tolerate delay: Our patience will achieve more than our force (Edmund Burke). Long-suffering is long and patient endurance, as of wrong or provocation: The general, a man not known for docility and long-suffering, flew into a rage. Resignation implies acceptance of or submission to something trying, as out of despair or necessity: I undertook the job with an air of resignation. Forbearance denotes restraint, as in retaliating, demanding what is due, or voicing disapproval: “It is the mutual duty of all to practice Christian forbearance, love, and charity towards each other” (Patrick Henry).
Perhaps I should post my interesting conversation with the Sabian Symbols' Oracle (http://astrologyweekly.com/sabian-symbols/index.php) last night to demonstrate the opposite meaning of this word...in a different thread, of course ;)

Milkywaygirl,
I don't think anyone can tell you what these experiences mean; that's what makes them so much fun! :)
However, I do think it is quite synchronistic that you reactivated this thread today because it encouraged me to pay attention and uncover more clues. There are all sorts of connections between people, between threads on this forum!
In the thread Howl's Natal Chart (page 3) (http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2808&page=3), Howl provided a link to a site Shining Ray had recommended that provided Free Astrology Books Online (http://www.cafeastrology.com/freeastrologybooks.html). I can not recall what page this was mentioned, but in Chapter Twelve: North Node in Pisces-South Node in Virgo (http://books.iuniverse.com/viewbooks.asp?isbn=0595264654&page=335) of The Soul Purpose: Attaining Fulfillment and Security with Astrology (http://books.iuniverse.com/viewbooks.asp?isbn=0595264654&page=fm1), the author describes several famous individuals born in this nodal tribe, one of whom was Mary Baker Eddy--the "discoverer and founder" of Christian Science. I had not heard of this religion until earlier today, and several minutes ago I encountered it again in the thread 12th House-beginnings or endings? (http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?p=20240)
I was also born into the Christian Science religion which was the gateway to exploring the concept of mind over matter. I was not born into a conservative traditional religion.
True to my Virgo South Node, I have exhausted myself in attempting to understand the implications or deeper meanings of such coincidences, yet now I simply try to enjoy the experience. It can be quite magical to discover how seemingly unrelated people and events are connected; it is beyond analyzation of the intellect. Why curtail the moment? ;)
EDIT: This is getting ridiculous; I was reading through Chapter Seven: North Node in Libra - South Node in Aries (http://books.iuniverse.com/viewbooks.asp?isbn=0595264654&page=198) of this same e-book and discovered, on page 206 (http://books.iuniverse.com/viewbooks.asp?isbn=0595264654&page=206), that Harry Truman had originated the statement, "If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen"--one of several cliches listed as a possible title of an English assigment I received Friday.
EDIT 2: I am having a series of experiences today that I can no longer smile about and enjoy; I feel this is urgent.
At 9:12 PM, I thought to check the Kryon Channelling Menu Page (http://www.kryon.com/k_25.html) and discovered The End Times Revisited (http://www.kryon.com/k_chaneltoronto06.html). Here is an excerpt that eerily relates to my last edit (italics added for emphasis):
There are those right now who don't understand this and they're frightened. They're fearful of even calling themselves Lightworkers. So I say to these Lightworkers: Were you truly ever a Lightworker, or did you just give yourself that label? Maybe it's time to examine yourself. Are you claiming to be the chef and yet you're afraid to go into the kitchen because it's hot?
What is going on here?

yeah you are right AM. maybe that is all there is to do, just accept it and enjoy it and not give it a thought! i am going to try to do that from now on and see what happens.
