Stock Market nose-dives

Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on the big hits the world stock markets have been taking lately. The Jupiter opp Venus aspect has really chopped up some indices when triggered by the Moon lately (today and 2 weeks ago for the Moon con Venus) and we still have the Sat con Mars squ Jup to come!
Are they going to continue to fall or will Sat & Mars cancel each other out?

I'm not sure the planets can cancel eachother out.. as you put it.. more like Mars increasing the fear factor.. ie. of Saturn.. anyway I usually read Ray Merriman's(a Capricorn) weekly guide as a good learning tool for understanding mundane astrology(mmacycles.com).. he notes that we are on the downward cycle of 'the Saturn Pluto' cycle.. which seems to be the main indicator for the global economy cycle(lead by Wall St of course) so the opposition co-incided with the Sept 11 attack.. marking this turning piont.. the Saturn-Pluto cycle lasts 32-37 years.. (8-9 years each quarter cycle) so we're heading towards the conjunction.. about 2018-20.. meanwhile Saturn is heading towards the waxing square to Pluto 2009-12.. with Uranus thrown into the mix with a cardinal T-square.. So I guess we are just building up to the next square.. perhaps that's when things will really start 'to bite'.. a bit more.. then the conjunction to follow.. 8-9 years later.. marking the lowest piont of the cycle or the global economy.. also marking the new beginning.. so the season or time of growth starts all over again...
