i met someone a year ago in july (whom i'd known of for years- small town!) and we hit it off right away. for approx 5 months it was an intense love affair which ended with me hurt badly and him running off with someone else.
for 3 months i try to regain my sense of self, then he comes back to me for friendship- SHE had left him.
i struggled with this- i wanted out of my world but had accepted he was with someone else and wanted him happy.
then, my roommate & i wound up moving and the only house we found in short notice was RIGHT BEHIND HIS HOUSE! we now share an alley...
when he came back to me, i was so scared because my love for him was so strong. this was 5 months ago & i'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. my heart hurts again.
any thoughts on my "lesson"?
