Progressed Moon conjunct Progressed IC

My eldest daughter and one of my best friends both have this coming up.

My eldest daughter has Progressed Moon at 22' Libra in the 3rd - getting ready to conjunct her Pr. Pluto Rx at 27' Libra and Pr. Saturn Rx at 28' Libra. Her current Pr. IC is at 1'46" Scorpio. So her Pr. Moon will hit Pluto and Saturn, then change signs and then hit her Pr. IC in Scorpio. Any thoughts?

Then my friend has Progressed Moon at 27' Scorpio. Progressed IC is at 29' Scorpio. So hers is imminent! However, there is a glitch with hers. She's not 100% sure her birth time is accurate. It may be off by a few minutes either way. But I figured, if it was earlier, then whatever the Progressed Moon conjunct IC would have meant would have already happened. IF it is an important event, it would be sticking out what it is. This leads me to think that maybe the time is accurate, or a few minutes after, at most.

So, either her Progressed Moon is going to conjunct Pr. IC at 29' Scorpio, in a little over a month OR it's already happened OR - 3rd option- Her Progressed IC will change into Sag, Pr. Moon will change into Sag, then conjunct - but still relatively soon - with in next few months.

Can any of you shed any light on this? Have any of you experienced Progressed Moon conjunct Progressed IC, and would like to share your stories of what happened?

I think our resident expert on Progressions is Caprising. Maybe he will see this thread next time he checks in. He has an amazing handle on the art of progressions.
I never check mine very often, and was SHOCKED to see that right now, my pr Uranus is exactly conjunct my Pr ASC in Cancer. I think this is why I started checking into this forum every day, and came out of retirement so to speak.
Pr angles with Pr planets is tricky to assess imo. I know what pr moon to your natal IC might mean, but I still wonder if it means that same in terms of a pr IC. Does it still describe a possible move, a change in home conditions, mother or child coming for a long visit? I am not sure.

Intuitively, I think that the Pr IC must have more to do with ones 'renewed' emotional foundation, and 'current' needs and desires, for the home situation. And so having your pr moon meet up with that point would make the desire for CHANGE be overwhelming. You have a double whammy of wanting to move out from, or change present situation immediately, but neither the moon nor the IC have any power to make that happen necessarily. So it may make one overly emotional and sensitive to being trapped in present circumstances for now.

How about a move? New pet or baby? Visitor? Boarder? Renovation? Since it also opposes the MC, I would think there is some career, status, responsibility alteration as a result, as well.

Pr Moon hitting her Saturn/Pluto in Libra ought to be something. How does it seem to work in her chart? Does she have a good relationship with her father and with men in general? How about authority figures? Pr moon hitting that conjunction will likely bring up emotional issues/baggage concerning her dad and his place in her life/childhood. Pluto sitting there might add some heightened emotions to the mix and might bring up some deep hurts as well.
When I had some transits and eclipses hit my pluto in leo in the 4th, I tild my mom for the first time that her younger brother had molested me when he used to babysit as a teenager. I was about 5 or 6 at the time, but I never told anyone about the few instances.
Whwn her moon pr into scorpio and passes the IC she may be changing her residence and her family status. Could she be having a child soon perhaps?

I was wondering the same thing - if it would signify a move of some sort. Both of these women are looking to buy some land and move asap.

In addition, my oldest daughter will have Saturn in Libra crossing her Natal IC sometime late this year. So, Saturn in Libra will begin then, and be transiting back and forth across her natal IC - DURING the time that her Pr. Moon in Libra is hitting her natal Pl and Sat ( both rx). THEN her Pr. IC and Moon will change signs and conjunct. It looks like some major home life transformation to me.

I really wish my friend would get her birth certificate. She's going by the time her mother said. However, like I said, it seems to be fairly accurate so far. Trying to time events to her IC - she was unable to stay in the apartment she was renting, due to rent being too high, and her husband had left her - so just her paying the bills. She moved into her mother's large home with her. This was first of July 2008. (Her mother had been unable to pay the house payment due to her new husband wasting all the money. But my friend figured out that her mother's subsidized house payment was less than half of what she was paying for rent - so they all won! Well, at least in the finances department....:pouty:) Because this is how she feels now ( my daughter, too):

I'm wondering, too, about my friend's Pr. IC. That surely sounded like "an IC event" to me - what happend July '08 - moving to her mother's to share expenses - and a Scorpio IC thing at that. But, if I'm correct, IC's only progress about 1 degree a year? But Pr. Moon roughly 9-12 degrees per year? ( A degree and a half or so per month?). So, that would have made her Pr. Moon only appx 17/18 ' Scorpio at that time - with her Pr. IC being around 27/28' degrees Scorpio. So that wouldn't fit at all?:confused:

Her natal IC is 10' Aries - so she had zero natal IC action going on at that time. However, she just started to pursue her master's degree in education, which she is able to do from home on the computer. She's received a grant to do this, and is no longer working in the "outer world" while she does this. (Although she does give voice and piano lessons from home, as well.) All this sounds like her IC has just progressed into Sag to me. What do you all think?

I'm also wondering if Pr. IC moving into Sag could indicate a move to the country - perhaps a farm-like setting. Her fiancee is from that kind of area.

Yeah, the move is the first thing I thought of. My daughter's new husband is fighting with his ex-wife for primary custody of their son. Maybe they will get it? She just changes careers about 15 months ago - moving from sales into being a paralegal/real estate agent - with alot more responsibility.

I appreciate the alternative viewpoints. I wouldn't have thought of some of those. Maybe they will get the land they want, and start clearing it to build? Wouldn't that fall under renovation - kind of?

She had an absolutely terrible relationship with her father most of her life - mostly because he was an absolutely terrible person. Luckily, the Universe intervened over the recent few years, and brought her a father figure/boss at the sales job she had for a couple of years. She distanced herself from her father a good deal, and he started coming around being somewhat nicer, and helping her out financially. But he's still mean and a control freak.

She has a good relationship with her husband ( they just married 2 months ago) and has numerous male friends, including ex-boyfriends. She seems very healthy in that area. So far, she gets along very well with her new bosses at work. ( lawyers). I'm sure the relationship with her bio-father is still not healed though.

Yes, absolutely any/all of the above. If there are issues between siblings then pr moon through the 3rd house could well highlight the situation. Also short move, or new cars could be in the picture as well. Also she could be learning a whole lot of new facts and data right now, as in being trained in her job for a new position or something like that.

Real estate? That is very Pr Moon in the 3rd/4th as well. Especially contacting Saturn. So that could be an ideal way for this transit to play out.
And problems with neighbors? That seems kind of scary given the Saturn/Pluto conjunction.
I would hope she would continue to be very sensitive to any 'scary' situations and do what she did--move away. During the time that her pr moon is in contact with her sat/pluto in the 3rd she should be wary of dangerous neighbors. I should have picked that up earlier, as I was focussing more on the IC, and really overlooked the 3rd house
part of the puzzle. But that sat;pluto conjunction in the 3rd does indicate a potential for being harrassed or burglarized by thugs from next door. :bandit:
