Hello everyone!
I've been a member since Aug05, but I have'nt posted in a couple of months, so I thought I'd reintroduce myself. My user name is Waterbearer50, I'm an Aquarian, born in 1950. I first studied Astrology back in the early seventies, and stopped in 1983. My influences at the time were Dane Rudyhar, and his student Michael Myers who wrote the excellent Handbook for the Humanistic Astrologer.Two years ago, Neptune started transiting my natal Sun and trining my natal Neptune. The experience of this transit(still happening!) has reawakened my interest in Astrology and changed my life. I've spent the last year getting up to speed, relearning what I knew and discovering what's new, such as Chiron, only a new discovery back in 1983.
I practice White Light Astrology, the belief that Astrology is a symbolic language, and the astrologer is an interpretive artist who seeks to interpret these symbols according to their highest spiritual meaning.
For example, the highest expression of Leo is Joy, Love,Creativity,Radiance. To express this energy positivley is to be warm, loving, expressive, affectionate,radiant, bold. To express this energy negatively is to be prideful,arrogant,on a royalty trip, condenscending. If one consciously lives accentuating the positive their life would manifest much differently than the one who unconsciosly lives out the negative energy. Life is for learning and then applying that knowledge. It's my desire and prayer to inspire everyone with an interest in Astrology to study, learn and walk in the White Light.
