This SR is for my daugther's first year, after she turns 1. I'm trying to figure out how her first year will go, as I'm assuming she won't be talking or walking yet. Perhaps this chart will give me an idea, or perhaps I would be better informed by a Horary chart? Anyways, I'll analyze this myself and hopefully get some more help by the expertise of Starlink and Katydid, my own personal astrologers (jk...but kinda in a way)

To start off, her SR ASC moves into the confident, showy sign of Leo...indicating a year of confidence, artistic ablity and self expression. The moon is barely in this sign (29th degree). Would this indicate her personal (1st house) emotional level will be the general idea for this year? Since the moon is in the anaretic degree, this could mean she goes from being an extrovert, somewhat self serving to an introvert, serving other people? I won't look into this too much, this being her first year.

For talking I look to the 3rd house of communication...unfortunately Saturn is here, would this mean she has difficulty talking? I wouldn't like to think so as she seems very smart and already likes to talk (in that baby language). I also look at what Mercury is doing and it is located in the 7th so perhaps this is a good sign, as the planet of communication and analyzation is in the house ruling relationships with people. It is conjunct Neptune fairly tightly, both in Aquarius, so this indicates an activated imagination on a spirtual plane, accented by her natal Piscean sun. Partnered with Aquarius this is a highly active yet rational imagination so perhaps this all indicates a good year for learning, although I don't neccesarily need astrology for that ;)

Her SR 8th house is packed, indicating a year of transformation (once again astrology isn't needed to know this, but it's interesting to see where the transformation will occur). The 8th is ruled by Pisces and includes Venus, Uranus, Jupiter and most importantly the Sun. Is this configuration indicating a psychic transformation? Mars, the planet of action is located in the 12th as well, perhaps acting as a vessel for this packed 8th house...this is speculation as I am no expert in SR charts.

What do you guys think?

I would not personally go deeply analyzing very little childrens Solar Returns, cause I feel, that Solar Return tells about meanings, and in that time, you cannot still understand what something could mean, when the little one's brains aren't even completely in function. Maybe up from 5 years old would be wise to say something...At a very young age children mirror so much their parents and are dependaple on them, so I feel it's unnecessery for a close up at their charts, when in fact the decision maker in their lifes, is their parent.

Happy Parenting anyway. :)
