I got this quote off another thread, and thought about posting it in that thread, but then realised it was probably unrelated....
I just know that Lilly used Regiomontanus, and that it's being used especially in Europe and in horary - but you already know that...

I'm currently studying horary, doing as many charts as possible, and reading out a whole number of books.
One thing I do often fail to do, though, is differentiate between Regiomontanus and Placidus references while taking notes. They were all simply general notes.:eek:
My question, then, is that if I've taken notes from, say, Lily, is it appropriate to apply his tips to a Placidus chart? or should I differentiate the two systems religiously while divining?
Has anyone else made this mistake?
