In order to optimize your forum experience please make sure you have followed these steps and editted your forum options.
Go to your User Control Panel (User CP, first link in the menu) and edit your preferred options:
- whether you want to receive email/private messages from the administrator and other members
- whether you want to have other members' signatures, avatars or included images displayed (eats up some bandwitdh, but it's more fun)
- default subscription mode - no, instant or daily email notification
- forum options: number of posts/page, thread age cut off (whether you want to see all threads or only the most recent (specify how many days is "recent" for you)
I checked to have displayed all these settings as I want to know everything going on here, but you make your own choices.
