I know this is an astrology forum, but any numerologists out there who can tell me the true meaning of 666? A professor once told me that 666 was the symbol of NERO and the gospel writers wrote in code-- for obvious safety reasons. But the anti--Christ was Nero and 666 was not referring to some future anti--Christ. The disciples believed Jesus return would be in their lifetimes. Anyone know anything about this?

Maries,
Here's some random quotes from Robert A. Henkel's article in the 9/03 issue of The Pleiadian TIMES. I wish I could quote the whole thing because it's really great but I'll try to cover the most direct parts. It's entitled 666
" 666 -
The Platonic Solids have their own progression of perfect propertions, similar and related to the golden ratio. The octahedron is "hidden" inside of the tetrahedron. That is, a tetrahedron can be divided in a geometrically precise way that reveals an octahedron positioned at its center. Each of these two shapes, then, matematically implies the existence of the other two.
"Similarly, the tetrahedron is hidden inside of the cube. This means that the octahedron is also hidden within the cube, and each of the three shapes implies and defines the existence of the other two.
"This triplet of shapes, therefore, also seems to fit the metaphor of "three that are one, one that are three." However, the golden ratio is not involved here. This appears to be another "holy trinity."
"These three shapes are linked together by their perfect interalignment. The six points of the octahedron line up with the centers of the six edges of the tetrahedron. These edges coincide with the diagonals of the six faces of the cube. Six points, six lines, and six square faces:666. The number of the beast unites this holy trinity, it appears.
There's much more but I hope this helps.
