Hi all,
I thought I'd start a thread where we can post poetry of an astrological nature. I was inspired by these poems that I found on the 'net.
JoAnne Cucinello
I feel quite inspired to write my own after reading these.
Here is another poem. I found this in somebody's diary entry on the Urania website. This was found on a website called 'Found Magazine'. This is a site where people who find lost letters, poems, homework, doodles and various things in public places, and then scan them and send them to this site:
www.foundmagazine.com/ (http://www.foundmagazine.com/)
The thing which intrigues me in particular about this poem, is that the person who sent this in said he had no idea what it means. I am sure that astrologers see a lot of meaning in it:
Untitled
Well sure, Saturn devours
Youth, but
what shape has Saturn
For an old man
who isn't afraid
anymore.
Author unknown.
Does anybody else have any astrological poems to share? Perhaps you have written some of your own, or perhaps you might like to write one to post here?

I'm going to see what happens....
When my moon conjuncts Uranus,
then you'll see his Mars
When the dragon lifts his head
Pluto is at your door
Six and Seven make Eleven
Eleven makes two
Thanks for reading my poem
Please don't throw a shoe....
Oh good golly that was bad.
I'm sure you all have much better to offer than that....c'mon!

Sun keep me centered and help me find my way
Moon shall I be sensitive to others every day
Mercury help me speak clearly to express what I feel inside
Venus let me love and my feelings I won't hide
Mars give me fire to achieve my goal
Jupiter give me the bigger picture, and one day I will feel whole
Saturn show me the tasks I have to do to help me to achieve
Uranus give me new vision and the will to believe
Neptune give me the dream and I shall take flight
Pluto then I will transform myself and grow toward the light
85 Never give up.
Hi,
one of the songs in the musical "Hair" - actually in the opening scene says:
"When the Moon is in the seventh house and Jupiter aligned with Mars, than peace will guide the planets, and love will steer the stars!"
"This is the dawning of the Age of Aquarius, Age of Aquarius...Aquarius, Aquarius..."
"Harmony and understanding, sympathy and trust..." etc.
Wave.

Hi,
I just found my astrological poetry posted here on your lovely site. Thank you !! They're from my collection "Constellations" that I'm making into a chapbook.I have a few more poems to add, but I'll start with just this one today which I wrote to reflect the Sun/Moon relationship as they move through each monthly cycle
seeding the earth:
Celestial Benediction
Tonight New Moon will kiss the Sun, behind a veil of starlight
Solar heart and lunar soul.... uniting in the dance
Reveries of ageless chimes electrify the darkness
As lovers’ cosmic sprinkling seeds the earth.
Born of this union, a dimly blooming crescent
Her beauty draws our evening glance and silhouettes appear
This waxing time, when souls are stirred to look beyond
To hope for more, dream of more....become more.
And as the eager birth appears, Full Moon lights the sky
Heralding incarnations, new vibrations
All that was to be now is .....the secret comes alive
To bless this humble earth with faithful promise.
Majestically they shine on distant shores now
Sweet Bella Luna, draped in the luster of her lover Sun
Creator's luminescent gift to creatures of the night
And those of us who chance to dream.
Alas, the moon begins to wane, and soon,
A Sleepy Crescent rocks the cradle of the midnight sky
Going home and leaving us to wonder
When, oh when, will she restore her joyous benediction?

Astrological enlightenment.
Since coming on this forum, it’s been difficult to remain.
Unwise and Uneducated, to my pleasures and my pain.
On the whole it’s filled with laughter. Our lives like open books.
But one comment to far, can loosens all the hooks.
We trust our advisers completely, when hoping for a reply.
Lets keep in mind we’re all human and ,not the all seeing eye.
Ascendant in Scorpio, helps identify me.
That sun in Leo though, is a huge responsibility
Moon in Virgo wants to give, service with a smile.
Life is a huge journey, that gets longer by the mile.
Will we still be coming back on here, year after year?
Sharing our life’s stories, children and deepest fears?
I just wanted to write this and let you know, I’m glad to have met you all and still have more to know.
Thanks for all your help and support threw what has been a rewarding & challenging year!!!!
