As does this!
The eclipse conj this extremely sensitive moon opposite the part of fortune, node conjuct...:alien:
Saturn just left the Asc, venus and mars hovering around the mc, and hence opp all the planets at the bottom?
I have absolutely no clue? Good or bad? But here´s what I found out:
eclipses falling conjunct or in opposition to a natal planet have been granted the potential for all sorts of catastrophes. As in an eclipse astronomically, so in astrology the eclipse has the effect of overshadowing whatever planet or angle it comes into contact with. It may just be that the effect of an eclipse is to put some aspect of life into the dark while perhaps highlighting another area requiring attention. Eclipses are especially important when affecting the ascendant as this angle is representative of the general well being.
As a Solar Eclipse occurs at the time of the new moon when both sun and moon occupy the same degree of the zodiac, they are seen as new beginnings being brought about by radical change. Like a new chapter beginning in one's life. (on July 22)
A Lunar Eclipse occurs at the time of the full moon when the sun and moon are in opposition to each other. They are at the point of maximum stress and represent the culmination of events, a catalyst, from which only dramatic change can come based on what has already been experienced. (On july7).

Hi Teb, those aspects don't look easy. But, have you done primary, secondary progressions and a solar return too, to verify if negative indicators exist in each of these charts?
In my experience, eclipses can trigger events and potentialities indicated in the natal chart.
But, it is necessary that these have been first highlighted by progressions. The eclipse chart is not the easiest one. Sun/Moon fall on two traditional malefics in the eight house.
But it is necessary to see how this birthchart "works" in practice, whether indications given by the eclipse are supported by progressions, and also what is going on at the moment in the life of this person.

I agree with Al Nablusi here. The eclipse by and of itself is not as powerful without other transits and progressions to back it up.
When I first began seeing clients, I went through an 'eclipse-happy' cycle where I was making all sorts of predictions on the basis of where eclipses were falling in ones chart. I got kind of carried away. :sideways:
Many of those predictions were duds.:whistling:I eventually figured out that the ones which panned out were ones highlighted by the eclipse. In other words if someone was having a new moon eclipse on their natal Venus in the 7th, I was saying " great, new relationship on it's way." However, that would only unfold if there were other transits and progressions to support it. Then it was strengthened and empowered by the eclipse cycle.
