Hi all,
When people ask questions and leave their data, often the name of the relevant town or city is provided, but not the coordinates. If you are not using Astrodienst, you may be required to put in the coordinates for the place rather than just the name.
This means having to trawl the internet for the coordinates. Googling 'coordinates for 'name of town', isnt always as easy to yield results as it might seem in all cases.
I have since discovered that if you go straight to Wikipedia, this is the best bet. Wikipedia has an entry for almost every town and city in the world, and gives the coordinates as standard as part of the fact-file to the right of the page.
Just letting you know. :)
