Strange Combos - What's in store?

I was looking at a friend's chart and noticed these combination of aspects currently in effect:

Current Solar Return Mars exactly conjunct IC at 26' Scorpio - this is exactly the MC of his Progressed Chart. And so, flipping it over - his Solar Return MC is exactly conjunct his Progressed IC - which is tightly conjunct Algol. :eek: In addition, natal 12th house is at 26'Scorpio, and natal 6th house 26' Taurus.

So, tying it all together, Current Solar Return Mars/IC exactly conjunct Progressed MC, and exactly conjunct natal 12th house cusp - at 26'Scorpio

Solar Return MC exactly conjunct Progressed MC, exactly conjunct natal 6th house cusp - all tightly conjunct Algol -at 26' Taurus

I wish I could post a chart, but I do not have software that will show the triple wheel. I tried to simplify the description as much as possible.

Anyway, I was wondering what kind of possibilities could this add up to, as far as things going on in this person's life? I found the combination rather strange - and even ominous...

Other possible contributing factors: Current Solar Return ASC exactly conjunct natal 9th house cusp - 29'Leo exactly conjunct Regulus. Current Solar Return DSC exactly conjunct 3rd house cusp - 29'Aquarius.

Natally, Chiron is at 27'Aquarius exactly at cusp of 3rd house. Current transiting stellium of Jupiter/Chiron/Neptune is at 26' Aquarius. Neptune will station retrograde at 26' Aquarius on May 28. Chiron will station retrograde at 26' Aquarius on May 30. Jupiter will station retrograde at 27' Aquarius on June 15 - exactly on natal Chiron, cusp of 3rd.

I thought this would be an excellent exercise in seeing how the various ongoing charts blend together in real life, as well.

In a kind of 'off with his head ' fashion he may find himself dropped down a rung, and doing for himself what employees used to do for him.

SR Mars/IC brought to his 12th house which is also meeting up with his PR MC,
all of which is being squared by the transiting Trio in Aquarius of course.

I would say he could have a 'brush' with the true meaning of LIFE. He could
have a glimpse of what eternity, and infinite wisdom is all about. The IC/MC
could be his parents, and if they are still alive, he may have a close call with losing one of them, and have to deal with all that it entails.

He could have a huge change of heart, concerning his past, his childhood, and what ensued there. Forgiveness, and all that.

That completely bypassed my attention.:o So since the stellium is currently within 1 degree of his natal Chiron at 27' Aquarius smack on the cusp of his third house - the whole conglomeration is making a t-square with the focus on Chiron - and the outlet point is appx. 27' Leo in his 9th... hmmmm....
I wonder what the focus on Chiron in Aquarius is? trouble with siblings? the community?

His father died years ago, but his mother is still alive.

Wow, conjunct his CHiron? :eek: So 'self-healing' would be a motif here, most likely. And the 3rd/9th could be introducing his siblings into the mix, or his relationship to his community/church/higher education. He may be wanting to RENEW his relationship with any of those 3rd/9th house people in a newer more elevated way. He may want to transcend or update his old level of thinking, to a more spiritual,more open minded model.

When I see SR or PR charts that are totally flipped, asc to desc, or mc to ic, I usually see that the person is 'turned inside out' in a way. Like they come clean from something they had tried to deny or to hide, or they change their
stand on something completely, and atheists become 'born agains' or life long bachelors plan their nuptials, or something like that. :rolleyes:

It sounds like me may finally be getting to the root of his "mother issues" - with MC in the 12th house - and the emphasis on the 3rd/9th axis.

This is his Chiron return, too, that is in the middle of Jup and Nep hitting his natal - but it won't be exact until after all go retrograde and the direct again - almost though - within 1 degree of an exact hit with all 3 right now!

With his Progressed MC at this degree - referring to mother ..... and Solar Return IC - he currently makes his home with his mother.... and all this being on her Mercury..... I feel pretty certain some kind of major issue is going to come up concerning his mother.

OR , worst case scenario, I bet we all can imagine the worst case scenario of a Mercury in Scorpio mom, having her retrograde Mercury on your 12th house cusp;

Truth is probably somewhere in the middle. And the mercury, [and the 3rd/9th house axis involved now], could indicate their differences could involve one of his siblings, and how they were treated in comparison to him, perhaps.

Also, having his mothers mercury on his 12th, COULD mean he is very aware of her needs and her physical/mental state, and he may feel responsible for caring for her now, and all of the activity by progression and SR may be showing an increased need to do so now.

it could also mean that she is finally ready to spill some long held family secrets to him. Maybe things that will affect his own feelings about his family history, his connection to family etc. She may have some keepsakes for him to take now, and they reveal some interesting details too.

Nope, worst case scenario pretty well sums it up - although it's probably worse than that. She's a hound who doesn't want him to think for himself.
One person brought up the name "Norman Bates" when they found out about it. She's that bad.

Yes, he does all the housecleaning and the majority of the cooking for her. She is 82. Her chart is being lit up like a Christmas tree with transits right now. In addition to the Aq stellium squaring her Mercury - it is actually part of a t-square right now in her chart, too. Ner natal Neptune(r) in Leo is at 26' Leo - so the stellium is exactly opposing it right now - and her Mercury (R) at 24' Scorpio t-squares it all! She is also experiencing an exact Uranus (r)return, which is at 25'31" Pisces natally. She is also having a Jupiter return, although it is a little past exact, but will hit again when Jupiter goes retro. It's amazing what connected people's charts will mutually show!
