Venus-Saturn Conjunction in the 8th house

Venus is the ruler of the 7th house in the natal chart. Progressed 7th house is in Gemini with Mars and Jupiter. Mercury is in the 8th and squares Neptune in the 12th.
I must say that I’m worried. To a layman this looks complicated.
It looks like my love life/marriage is affected. Does this mean a possible divorce (progressed moon conjunction natal Uranus in 12th)? I’ve also found that Venus-Saturn contact can also describe an older partner. Money difficulties in general. The aspect is underlined by progressed Venus conjunction natal Saturn! I have so far experienced a lack of hope (depression), marriage problems, financial difficulties and a sort of isolation in the past three years. My career is practically non-existent (thus my earning potential is limited), but there is a possibility for improvement. Not as quickly as I would like, but still. Right now I’m looking to continue my education (postgraduate).
And it looks like it's going to last :(...
Is my interpretation wrong? I’d appreciate your comments very much!

Thank you.

p.s. I’ve added the chart itself just in case, inner circle is the natal, while the outer is the progressed chart.

Hello Mahaira, yes, i can understand your concern about that 7th house ruler Venus in the 8th. It trines Uranus and as you might know a Uranus-Venus contact is the classical divorce aspect, even though of course a square, conjunction or opposition would really be a difficult one. In your case it could show your inability to let people come close to you which could then create resentment with the partner. A transit from Uranus over Venus would then do the damage and can cause divorce. Or Jupiter or progressed Moon as you also wrote.
Your Venus is very volatile. It also sextiles Moon and Mercury and this shows the need for change or just brings lots of change in relationships.
The 8th house is known for crisis situations and planets in the 8th can encounter crisis in the houses they rule. This can be indeed divorce or even the death of a partner.

Normally seen, ruler of 7 in 8 shows that you need or will marry a partner who will support you financially. The aspects to Venus show in how far this support will be good or not so good.

Right now with the progressed 7th house in Gemini, Mercury will play more of a role even though Venus remains the main ruler. Mars square Neptune in 12th could show maybe sexual problems in the partnership. Progressed Moon conjunct Uranus, yes, that could point towards a sudden change in the family or in your home. But not necessarily divorce. Progr.Moon trines natal Venus, but Mercury squaring Neptune in the 12th is less pleasant and could show misunderstandings, maybe in the career as Mercury rules your 10th house or a problem between your interests in a career and your home duties.
Neptune rules your home.

Venus is transiting over Saturn which is not bad. It shows more posibilities for stabilizing your income and Saturn is transiting your Sun and that of course is a bit heavy and could diminish your physical strength for a while.

Transiting Mars is squaring Pluto and conjucting natal Venus who also squares Pluto so powerstruggles could be an issue during this time. Financial situations could also be prone to upheaval. Basically however, your 2nd house is well aspected, or rather the ruler Jupiter is. So even though things can slow down, I dont think they will really get desperate.

I must go now, hope this has helped understand your chart a bit, but you did a good interpretation as well, It does not have to be so desperate as you think of course:)

Cheers, Starlink

It looks like your orbs are a little wide for progressions. It looks like progressed moon is at or about 14 degrees scorpio and natal uranus is at 8 degrees. Orbs in progressions are very tight. The only planets given an orb beyond 1 degree is the sun and moon and then it is about 1 and a half degree...maybe two at the most so the progression of the moon to uranus has already happened. It is actually closer to a trine to natal venus. In fact I would say this is active.
Saturn conjunct the sun is definitely a biggee. But Saturn will sit there for a very long time so its affect will be part of the back ground. With progressed venus closing in (it does not look like there is much more than a degree between them) I would say that this will either show stabliizing times or quite depressing times or love being older or stablizing or some such as this. I would say that this is the answer to your difficulties if anything..that you are right. Venus will take awhile but once it is on the other side it will improve.
When the progressed sun moves to 29 degrees it will square natal jupiter, that may be a biggee...
If it coincides with progressed mars moving forward to square natal pluto that would cause tempers to fly....
Again, when you go to astro.com you can print off the table and only highlight or use orbs with in a degree and the sun and moon a degree up to 2 at the very max.

Yes, I always lower the orbs to 85% in Astro.com. (in the extended chart selection, scroll down a bit). They use very large orbs.

Thanks you so much!
I really did make it look darker than it is :o.

I have to print out your comments and study them carefully; do my homework, so to speak. I’ll keep you posted regarding the “incarnation” of the energy generated by these aspects.

For now I can say that when progressed Moon "touched" my natal Uranus, I had a strong need for a change, for freedom (which is still present but not as strong as it was). Fortunately other restraining aspects made me stay still. So I had to do some thinking :). Otherwise I would have probably made a big mess.
I almost forgot! I'm no stranger to depression (feeling of complete unworthiness, missed opportunities, wasted talents), as I discovered in the last few years. Before that I never felt anything like it. Not even when my mum died and I was really all alone, never did I feel such loneliness and hopelessness. I can only hope it'll pass soon. It was like an earthquake. The worst is over but I still sense minor trembling from time to time.
I’ve just bought a book on progressions (I’m note sure if it’s OK to post the name and its’ author), and didn’t have time for nothing more than to leaf it through. It seems very interesting, but I was surprised to see that it mainly treated the progressions of angles, cusps and planets to different signs, but not the aspects between them. Am I to conclude that the interpretation stays the same as the interpretation of transits, but only lasts longer?

Yes, it is OK. What is not permitted is copying and pasting large parts of books from the internet. Short parts are OK but need the name of the author mentioned and the source.

To different signs??? that is not possible. Is it not a progressed cusp or angle or planet progressing to a natal planet, MC/IC or ASC/DESC.?

Yes, the interpretation is similar to those of the same planets in transit and apart from the slow planets like Pluto,Neptune and Uranus, they last for about a year, whilst a transit can last for a month only at times.

The progr.Moon of course moves faster, about 1° to 1.5° a month.
