View Full Version : Some really cool optical illusions

I found some of these kinda cool, though the one with the spinning dancer is rather famous I think. From what I've read, it doesn't have too much to do with left or right brain though, but it's more about different perceptions and visual illusion. When I first saw it, I was 100% sure it was definitely only going clockwise and for the life of me wasn't able to see it go the other way around. But there are a couple of tricks to see it go both ways. I think there has been some analysis done where it showed some minor flaw which revealed that it originally must have been programmed to go anti-clockwise.
The one with the Jesus figure I found pretty cool too.

These are also some absolutely amazing paintings of optical illusions. Looks unbelievable, doesn't it? Unfortunately I have no idea who the artist is or where the pictures were taken.

...it's a clockwise dancer for me...and the 'spanish castle' trick is waaay cool...I've seen the 'Jesus' trick before though and the street artist...whom is amazingly talented...cool stuff, thanks...ptv.:sunny:
