Sudden Email out of the blue, Why Now??

I emailed S. 2 months ago, seeing if he remembered me from 04(met through mutual friend if that shows up).
It was curious he replied "Ohhh nooow I remember you!" yesterday.
Can you see what caused the remembering?
Talking w/ that mutual friend of ours is my guess...?
I hope this doesn't cause some drama, lol...I'm not interested in him romantically.
