Where is my ring?!!

So, I've been at work about 4 hours now and just noticed that my favorite black diamond ring is missing from my left hand. I ran a horary chart and noticed that the moon is the significator for me and I'm taking the sun to be the significator for the ring (2nd house ruler?). If this is the case, sun is in the 10th house in Aries and conjunct Mercury (ruler of the 3rd house). I'm moon in the 3rd. Sun and Moon make no aspect. Moon is VOC and makes no more aspect. All aspects are negative. I've looked through my clothes and everything and can't find it! I've attached the chart. Please help!


Oh, I also meant to add the POF in the chart which is located at Sagittarius 25 45, in the 6th house. I went to the gym at 5 30 this morning but I think I was still wearing the ring afterward, when I went home to take a shower. I also went to the grocery store for a few min to get some meds and did a load of laundry. If the POF is in the 6th house, does that mean I should find it at work? Or, does it mean that I should find it in a health-related place like the gym? If I lost it at the gym, it's probably gone for good.

Well I would think you would find it at work with the ruler of the 4th in the 10th and it is out in a public place where people can see it. I do not think it is in the washing machine :eek: That moon saturn in the 3rd..it is in a set place. I would guess the workplace.

I called the front desk at the gym to see if they found it there, but no one found it yet. :( I've looked high and low here. I'll keep looking around, I guess...

You should include the part of fotune in missing objects horary charts.
The 4th house sometimes can rule misplaced objects and as the 4th is ruled by venus and venus is natural ruler of rings this fits with this idea that you misplaced it. Venus on an angle is quite good in the 10th indicates south. In aries might be near a fireplace, stove and fire signs are east, midlevel, or near a wall.
Moon is natural ruler of fugatives and rules the first thus this should tellus something also...maybe near a phone as it is in the 3rd or car? mercury air ...near a window, clean air...upper level. We can also use the sun as ruler of the 2nd, moveable goods, and we see it also in the 10th in aries...
Venus is retrograde so it may not appear till it does direct and or moon moves into libra as one possibility....

I'll take a stab at it. I'm coming out of left-field here, and it's not all the usual horary way - but it's worth a shot. Nothing to lose by considering an alternative viewpoint - right?

Ascendant ruler is Moon in Virgo in the 3rd. Significator for ring is Sun in Aries in the 10th. POF, you say, is in Sag in the 6th.

3rd house rules the fingers. It could show the ring slipping off your finger, or possibly you were doing something with your hands when you lost it. (Any chance you took it off to wash your hands?) 3rd house also rules those who are near you - share space with you.

Moon in Virgo is separating from a conjunction with Saturn(r) in Virgo, ruler of the 7th. Moon is in almost exact opposition to Uranus in Pisces, ruler of 8th house - or another person's turned 2nd house of possessions.

Venus rules 4th and 11th, and is getting ready to retrograde into the MC - what is culminating and visible.

Chiron, co-ruler of the 3rd, is also in the 8th, conjunct Neptune. The phrase, "Finders, keepers" comes to mind.

I'm guessing it is a co-worker or another person at the gym who found it - or will find it, with Venus retrograding into MC.

There is a possibility that it dropped into a drain or hole of some kind at the gym, with the 8th house being involved - or at home when you took the shower.

Sun in 10th could indicate a it being at work. It could also indicate what is visible to the outer world. Sun in Aries - Aries rules "Mine". It's possible that alerting management will bring it back to you, when it's found.

POF in Sag in 6th can also denote work( 6th house) to promote(Sag) it being found. Possibly the person who found it ( assuming someone did) thinks its theirs to keep, unless they know someone is looking for it. Sag POF might also indicate prayer is needed to get it back. I read a story once where a woman had a dream revealing the location of her lost ring -and she got it back. She had to go through piles of garbage, but she got it back. (8th house involvement could indicate garbage, as well.:o)

With Venus ruling your 4th house, as well - it could also indicate it is at home. Again drain or garbage may be involved - slipping off your finger, in either case, maybe. 8th house might possibly show a clothes hamper or pile of dirty clothes. 10th house may indicate that it would be visible to you in a Capricorn type place - maybe outside. Capricorn rules "the brownies/faeries", as well.;)

Moon is not VOC, if you count inconjuncts and Modern Planets, which I do.

Moon will change signs, and oppose Venus - which could bring something to light, as well. Moon will be in your 4th house - in Libra. So that could signify in clothing or near beauty products.

And - it might be some hodgepodge of all those suggestions.

And..... I might be waaayyyyy off base, but, like I said, it's worth a shot. I love the practice.

Ruler in angular house means the the lost object is where it ought to be: nearby, quick and easy to find. Moveable (cardinal) signs show high places, upper rooms or newly erected buildings or in an outbuilding such as a garage. It is among other things, for example near papers, books, paper money or near jewelry, cosmetics, clothes , musical instrument. Also check out in car.
It can be in or near a chimney, stoves, furnace room, room where machinery and tools are kept, room with locked doors or closets, in rooms predominantly red in color, tool closets...Check also at bakery, sports club, public building, butcher shop, bookstore and the dentist's office if you were there.

Well, it was found in my sock drawer in a pair of my light blue socks. It was visible as soon as I opened the drawer. Top drawer of dresser, next to TV and in front of bed, in far right-hand corner of my bedroom. That's pretty much every detail I can think of at this point...

Well, it was found in my sock drawer in a pair of my light blue socks. It was visible as soon as I opened the drawer. Top drawer of dresser, next to TV and in front of bed, in far right-hand corner of my bedroom. That's pretty much every detail I can think of at this point...
I'm so glad you found it, normak! I said a little prayer that you would recover it. I guess that was more help than my horary! :o I'm not so good at lost objects as with relational and communication horaries. Back to the drawing board.

I did get a few things in the ballpark though:

Maybe the Sun, as siginificator for the ring being up high in the chart showed it being in the top drawer of the dresser - some place "up high and visible" - "at the top"?

I did get the reference to the clothing. ( And maybe the brownies
helped.:p) Still think the 8th house was influential somehow. Maybe it being someplace where things are stored. Doesn't Scorpio/8th house have a connection with things that are withheld/stored up?

Venus did seem to be significant when you went back (retro) to the place up high "10th house"(top dresser drawer) Venus, dispositor of the Moon opposed the Moon in Libra - Libra Moon was in 4th house of home.

The ring must've slipped off when I was hurriedly putting away the laundry right before I ran out the door. :p It makes sense, I just didn't notice it missing until I was at work, much later. Also, there was a jewelry box on the dresser right above the sock drawer (I remember that it was supposed to be found near a place where jewelry is kept).

I looked up colors...venus does rule soft blue, and moon/venus rules light blue but sky color blue is Aqurius or electric tones...I am not sure about navy blue...hmmm...the only thing I think I got was that it was a misplaced item...4th house ruler....and that it was against the wall....he, he
