Hi guys,

I'm interested to discuss and hear views on the situation in Nepal. I have just updated my blog with an article on the subject for anyone who's interested (I would copy and paste it here but it's pretty long but you can see it by pressing my www button if you want).

I'm not sure how to post charts here (Can you help AqMav?) The charts in question are:
King Gyandendra 7 July 1946, I'm supposing Kathmandu and midday or Sun on 1st
King Gyandendra to throne 4 June 2001, Kathmandu, again midday or Sun on 1st and
Royal family Massacre
1 June 2001, Kathmandu, 9pm local

It's all interesting stuff as there could be a greater sub plot here than just a despotic King on the loose!

It's interesting to read this because just yesterday I was reading about the royal family massacre in Nepal on the 'net. It gave me cause to wonder what the astrology of such an event might reveal.

I will have a look at your blog tonight.

Would you happen to know the mundane data for the nativity of modern Nepal?

I am aware of the 2001 massacre in Nepal, but I am unaware of what is going on in Nepal right now. Perhaps your blog will enlighten me a little when I have a read.

One thing that suprises me about the massacre is that when I read about it on the 'net yesterday, this was the first I had heard of it. It shows how ignorant we are of te East. If this had happened among European royals, it would have been an absolute media sensation for months!

Thanks for responding. Yes, I gather the situation in Nepal is not making as much news in the US and precious little really, considering the bloodshed, in the UK (You are in the UK, right?).

The Crown Prince did purportedly massacre his entire family but as you may have read on my blog by now, there are other theories! King G's natal chart is an interesting one to study. The only chart for Nepal that I found was for the Coronation of the old King and in this Pluto is 8 Libra which squares the eclipse degree. However, although relevant, this chart is superceded by the 4 June 1991 one for the new King (see blog). If you find any info on other charts for Nepal I'd be interested to hear.

Re the eclipse I see that the 'promise' of 29 Mar transpired in a very sad way yesterday with news of the bombings in Egypt. I need to look at the aspects to see if there was any factor that made yesterday a trigger. Do you have any ideas on it?

quite the interesting set of transits during the eclipse, mainly the conjunctions that seem very suspicious.
