I talked with my uncle yesterday, and he said I should try his psychiatrist for manic depression...This doctor was able to help him get government assistance for awhile for meds, rebuilding life, job placement, etc.
I wonder if I would be approved for this type of system? I worry they'll frown on my age, or not take a mental health issue as seriously as a physical one.

You are Me at 7Ar00 (ruler of 1st house) and Moon at 06Aq51. Ruler of government (10H) is Ju rx in your 6H, house of illness. Planet rx is not so optimistic except if you got that assistance in the past, now this rx might mean "again". But as I understand you do it for the first time so this Ju rx is not optimistic at all. Even more Ju rx is peregrine. Me and Moon (you) are also peregrine and Moon will square that Ju rx and because all planeta are without power (peregrine) and not in reception I think this is a "no" answer.

How spooky! :?
I feel sorry for your situation. Here in little old England, we have something called the National Health Service. This means that everybody, rich or poor, is entitled to free medical care of all descriptions for anything and everything. Medical care is dished out to anyone who wants it.
I never realised that you can actually apply for for the government to cover your expenses in the US. I thought it was pay up or suffer. Why do you think that you'd be turned down 'cos of your age?
I have often wondered how people in other countries get on without an NHS. I mean, if a homeless person with no money broke his leg, is he honestly expected to pay to have it fixed? When a woman gives birth, does she have to pay for it? Are people not exempt from paying medical bills in certain circumstances?
I think that Goca is right on the horary. Either it is telling you that you will not get government assistance, or that for some reason, you should not go for it. Perhaps you should move to the UK? :P .
A few more points I found interesting about the chart.
Mercury separates from both Saturn and Mars, the two malefics, Mars is something of a maniac, and Saturn is inconsolably miserable. Perhaps Mercury's contact with these two describe your manic depression?
Also note how significant it is that Mercury is your significator, being natural ruler of the mind and mental functioning.
Mercury touched upon Mars first by square, then translated to Saturn by trine. So the aggravating heat and anger of Mars has been piled upon black, old Saturn, and this is paticularly frustrating. I think that Saturn describes that which controls the illness, because it is on the cusp of the 3rd, which is the 10th from the 6th, and so that which reigns over the illness, that which dominates it. So the contact from Mars via Mercury shows how things have been getting worse, because whatever triggers your illness has been stimulated.
Remember when I told you about Mars in you chart, and how it was so powerful by being your Lord? I wonder if your natal Mars has anything to do with your condition? If so, find an alternative way to harness and channel his energy. I think we can either use our planetary energies or they can use us.
Mercury is just by a few minutes separating from the Moon. In a horary, I often see Lord 1 as showing the person's mind, the Moon the person's spirit. So this shows how just very recently, you have felt your mind detach from your soul, perhaps feeling that you are losing your mind, and this is a consequence of Saturn (misery, gloom, regret, sorrow) being hit upon by Mars (anger, passion, rage, pain), but yet somehow this is of your own doing, because it is Mercury that translates. I sense you may be something of a masochist?
Anyway, just my thoughts.

Yes, Fensi- I think youre correct...****! :x
Gracias for confirming my belief.
WOW Draco!
**** that was awesome, I'm always impressed by your thoughtfulness.
YES I am a total masochist, mental beatdowns mostly.
If I moved to the UK I'd probably marry you for the on demand astrology advice, lol
How weird about the Mars/Saturn back & forth cycle...It is so like that, the aggressive highs, impulsive dream chasing & then dark negativity.
Maybe my Mars in Cap is trying to make that mars fire longer burning, torward an outward goal, career focus? Keep busy with that so I have no time to focus inward & overthink feelings?
God I know the systems messed up here...Can't even buy meds at a fair price, or else, great drugs that are freely avail. in Europe are illegal...Just because the companies here think they won't make much money off them.
My mom actually works at an insurance co., and said it's very hard to get any sort of aid if your under 45...Even THEN it's a hassle, you have to practically be in a coma.

He he.
When I said that I felt that Mercury, which had translated from Mars to Saturn in the chart, and that this was a description of the illness, something you said struck me:
Maybe my Mars in Cap is trying to make that mars fire longer burning, torward an outward goal, career focus? Keep busy with that so I have no time to focus inward & overthink feelings?
The first thing was that your strong Mars in Capricorn, is in a Saturn ruled sign, so there's that Mars/Saturn theme again, coupled in your chart. Furthermore, your Saturn is in Scorpio, so Mars and Saturn receive each other by exaltation and domicile. This reception is made potent in your chart because Saturn and Mars are actually in aspect. These are some tough energies to deal with, and as Mars and Saturn are naturally malefic, it takes a lot of willpower to keep them in check and make them positive.
You also say that perhaps your Cappy Mars should be focused upon a career goal, rather than 'time to focus inward'. The trouble here is that your Mars is in the 1st house, so how could you help but focus this energy inward? It is also worthy of note that Mars, strong as it is, is ruler of your 4th cusp, and so again focuses upon the inner regions of the mind and the soul, and the 4th is the opposite to the 10th and career. :(
You have all of your planets in the East. So it is no suprise that you are so focused upon the world inside your head. With Mars being Lord of your chart, then it is he who leads the way with your introspection, and in reception and aspect with Saturn, phew!
So perhaps you are right, and you do need to focus outward and upward, but you are here in this life to turn inward and exorcise your demons. The question is not how can you escape your problems with the world within, but how you can meet them face up and combat them. That Mars energy can either be used to internalise pain, anger and frustration, or it can be used to make you a fighter, a brave combatant that can go in and give all that wound up energy a **** good kicking! It's all in your hands.
The trick is upon the way in which it is being focused inwardly.
As for how you will actually achieve this, then perhaps that's for another discussion.
I actually find your chart very interesting. When having a good browse through all the charts in the viewing facility, I kept coming back to yours somehow, I liked it, I was intrigued by it.
